Kaveh from 'Genshin Impact' is such a versatile character, and I love experimenting with his team comps! One of my favorites is pairing him with Nahida for her insane Dendro application. Her skill keeps enemies marked, so Kaveh’s Bloom reactions just explode nonstop. Adding Xingqiu or Yelan for Hydro application turns the battlefield into a garden of destruction—every hit triggers more Blooms, and Kaveh’s healing passive keeps the team alive. For the fourth slot, I often throw in Zhongli for shielding or Kazuha to group enemies and boost elemental damage. It’s chaotic but so satisfying to watch everything blow up.
Another fun combo is Kaveh with Thoma for Burgeon. Thoma’s Pyro application lets Kaveh’s Dendro cores detonate with extra firepower, while Kaveh’s healing offsets the self-damage. Add Kokomi for Hydro and healing redundancy, and you’ve got a team that’s nearly unkillable. Sometimes I swap Thoma for Bennett if I want more attack buffs, but the self-inflicted Burn can get risky. Either way, Kaveh’s flexibility makes him a blast to build around—pun intended.
If you’re like me and enjoy off-meta teams, Kaveh can shine in some unexpected setups. Try running him with Raiden Shogun for Hyperbloom—her Electro turns Dendro cores into homing missiles, and Kaveh’s AoE Dendro ensures constant seed generation. Pair them with a Hydro like Ayato or even Barbara, and you’ve got a team that’s both flashy and effective. The fourth slot can flex; I like Sucrose for crowd control and EM sharing, but Kuki Shinobu also works if you want extra healing and Electro.
For a more niche pick, Kaveh can also support Nilou in Bloom teams. While Nilou usually wants double Hydro/Dendro, Kaveh’s healing and Dendro infusion let him replace YaoYao or Baizhu. It’s not the most optimal, but it’s fun to see him swing his massive sword while Nilou dances around creating Bountiful Cores. Just make sure your Hydro appliers are strong enough to keep up!
Kaveh’s best teams revolve around Dendro reactions, but don’t sleep on his ability to drive Quicken comps too. Pair him with Fischl and Beidou for off-field Electro, and suddenly his attacks trigger Spread like crazy. Add Yaoyao or Kirara for Dendro resonance and extra sustain, and you’ve got a team that’s both durable and punchy. It’s less about big explosions and more about consistent, high-speed damage—perfect for players who prefer a steadier playstyle. I love how his kit adapts to so many roles, from Bloom enabler to Quicken driver.

"After sacrificing everything for my love and best friend, I died on the floor begging them for my inhaler.”
…..
Ethan Rawcrest has been my entire world since childhood. I loved him, supported him to win the Hockey championship and dreamed of becoming his Luna.
Maria was the sister I never had. Whenever she needed blood to survive, I gave her mine without hesitation.
But she used that blood to curse me.
That night, Ethan revealed that Maria was his fated mate, and I was brutally killed.
But fate gave me a second chance, and I swore revenge.
This time, instead of joining Ice Moon, I chose Blood Fang, the hockey team led by Kael Blackthorn, the Lycan Prince.
The captain of Ethan's greatest rival hockey team, whom he hated the most.
And the heir of a kingdom responsible for my father's death.
The moment Kael kissed me in front of the entire academy, a war began.
Ethan lost his mind the moment he watched me fall for the man he could never defeat.
Now one Alpha wants me back.
One Lycan Prince would burn the world to keep me with him.
When an ancient war between lycans and werewolves erupts once again, and a divine power sleeping inside me, I must decide who deserves my heart before the enemy kingdoms tear each other apart.
Too late for Ethan...
This time, I chose his rival.
Vaelith Ardentra was never meant to cross into enemy territory.
She was meant to die there.
When the bond snaps between her and Draven Varkrys, the ruthless heir of her pack’s greatest enemy, it should have ended in blood. Instead, it binds them. Irrevocably. Dangerously.
And her own pack turns on her first.
Now trapped deep within rival territory, Vaelith is forced into a fragile alliance with the one man she was raised to fear. Draven doesn’t trust the bond. Doesn’t trust her. But he won’t let her go, not when every instinct in him demands she’s his to protect… or destroy.
Because something is wrong with their bond.
It isn’t fate.
It’s something far older. Twisted. Engineered.
As war brews between packs and a new enemy begins hunting bonded wolves, the truth surfaces piece by piece. Vaelith wasn’t just chosen by fate.
She was created for it.
And if she fully accepts the bond, it won’t unite their worlds.
It will tear one of them apart.
Now Vaelith faces an impossible choice:
Break the bond and risk losing everything or claim the man she was never meant to love, knowing it could destroy them all.
Building Kaveh in 'Genshin Impact' is such a fun project because he’s a character with a lot of potential for both on-field and off-field playstyles. For a burst-focused Dendro enabler, I’d prioritize Energy Recharge and Elemental Mastery. His burst, 'Painted Dome,' creates a massive AoE Dendro field, so pairing him with Hydro or Electro characters for Bloom or Hyperbloom reactions is ideal. Artifacts like 4-piece Deepwood Memories or Gilded Dreams work wonders, depending on whether you want him to shred Dendro resistance or boost his own EM.
For weapons, Favonius Greatsword is a solid choice for energy generation, but if you have it, Makhaira Aquamarine can add even more EM to the team. Substats should focus on ER until you hit around 200%, then stack EM and Crit Rate if using Favonius. Team-wise, I love running him with Nahida for Dendro resonance and extra EM, plus a fast Hydro applier like Xingqiu. The last slot could be an Electro for Hyperbloom or another Dendro for resonance. Watching his burst explode with all those elemental reactions is pure chaos in the best way.
Man, pairing Kaeya and Diluc is like mixing fire and ice in the best way possible! For a melt-focused comp, I love running them with Bennett for pyro resonance and healing, plus Sucrose to group enemies and shred resistance. Kaeya’s burst keeps cryo applied consistently, letting Diluc’s attacks trigger melt like crazy. It’s so satisfying seeing those big numbers pop up!
Alternatively, you could go for a freeze-melt hybrid with Xingqiu instead of Bennett. Kaeya and Xingqiu freeze enemies in place, and Diluc shatters them with pyro. The crowd control is insane, though you’ll miss Bennett’s attack buff. Either way, these two brothers (despite their lore tensions) absolutely wreck abyss floors together.
