In 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba', he is Kagaya of House Ubuyashiki. He comes from a long line of Corps leaders and so must himself bear the weight of this responsibility. Indeed, his calm, gentle manner conceals a will as unyielding as steel and an unshakable determination to pursue his cause to the very end. But thanks to their ancestor's past against Muzan Kibutsuji, the originator of all demons, he and his family are cursed. In spite of this heavy physical toll, Ubuyashiki never wavers from his commitment to rid the world of demons. Moreover, he is a kind leader, addressing honor and empathy upon all his demon slayers no matter how low rank they rank. Always out there in the front, prepared to take any risks on behalf of his people he leads by example as reflected in his Corps members' unwavering loyalty. As a scheming genius, he drew up Muzan's assaults one by one, planning every eventuality. In the final analysis, Ubuyashiki is by nature a gentle and soft-spoken person who is yeta killer in his own right: thanks to wisdom gained from old age orfirmed by bravery against all odds! He is truly the epitome of Demon Fire.Corps!

"Master, do you miss this apprentice?"
Lips painted in bright red ticked up in a sharp smile. Her eyes were a pool of dark red, like a swirl of the finest wine. One jaded hand in his throat, nails slightly digging in the skin there, the other was on his cheek carefully caressing.
The clashing of both gestures were confusing, but Rion's mind only provided one instinctual response; to run away as far as possible.

Rion Ren, one of the strongest sword masters in the world, had to make a difficult decision to hand over his apprentice, Ruby, to the Demon Master when Ruby's real identity as a descendant of Demon Sovereign was revealed.
Three years later, Ruby who had successfully taken the reign of the Demon Realm, came back to take revenge on her master that had betrayed and abandoned her in the hand of cruel demons.
Rion swore on his life as a sword master, he only wanted to protect those who were precious to him, but how did it manage to turn the whole world into chaos? How would Rion face his own apprentice in a battle between life and death?!
Saitama from 'One Punch Man' wouldn’t fit into the Demon Slayer Corps—not because he lacks power, but because his entire character defies the struggle central to 'Demon Slayer.' The Corps thrives on relentless training, camaraderie, and facing life-or-death battles against demons. Saitama, though, ends fights with a single punch, bored by the lack of challenge. His nonchalance would clash with the Corps’ passion. Imagine Tanjiro’s earnest speeches met with Saitama’s deadpan 'meh.'
Moreover, the Corps’ hierarchy and rules would irritate him. He’s a hero for fun, not duty. While his strength could obliterate Muzan in seconds, his presence would undermine the narrative tension. 'Demon Slayer' is about human resilience; Saitama’s invincibility would make the demons seem trivial. He’d probably nap through a Hashira meeting or complain about the uniform. The Corps needs warriors who grow—Saitama’s already peaked.
Kagaya Ubuyashiki's leadership is fascinating because he embodies quiet strength despite his physical frailty. The way he commands respect without ever raising his voice or wielding a sword is something I've always admired. His ability to delegate authority to the Hashira while maintaining their unwavering loyalty speaks volumes about his emotional intelligence. He treats every member like family, which creates this unshakable bond within the Corps.
What really gets me is how he turns his curse into a weapon of morale. His calm acceptance of fate and dedication to the mission inspires everyone to fight harder. The scene where he addresses the Hashira while barely able to move still gives me chills. It's not about flashy power moves - it's about creating a vision so compelling that warriors willingly give their lives for it.
Really powerful characters fill "Demon Slayer." I find, however, Yoriichi Tsugikuni takes the cake. He is a legend in human form, the former Pillar and original user of Breath of the Sun style. With a level of skill that is so great, he was the only one to come closest to defeating series-level villain Muzan Kibutsuji.
Kaigaku's betrayal is one of those twists in 'Demon Slayer' that hits differently because it’s not just about power or greed—it’s layered with resentment and insecurity. Growing up as an orphan, he was always overshadowed by Zenitsu, his junior in training under the same master. While Zenitsu struggled but had innate talent, Kaigaku worked relentlessly yet never felt acknowledged. That bitterness festered, and when Muzan offered him a way to surpass his limits as a demon, he took it. It wasn’t just about survival; it was about finally being 'the best,' even if it meant abandoning everything he’d once stood for.
What makes his arc tragic is how relatable his motivations are. Haven’t we all felt overlooked at some point? Kaigaku’s fall mirrors how unchecked envy can corrode loyalty. His final fight with Zenitsu isn’t just a clash of blades—it’s the culmination of years of unresolved rivalry. The way he sneers at Zenitsu’s growth, calling it 'luck,' reveals how deeply he internalized his inferiority. In the end, his betrayal feels less like a villainous choice and more like a sad, inevitable collapse under the weight of his own pride.
When it comes to sheer power and impact, "Muzan Kibutsuji" has to be said would take over as the demon Slayer being in strongest demon In possession and control of all the demons, Muzan introduces a frightening element of shuddering fear that even demon exterminators at the peak of their powers must feel. Wholly capable of metamorphosing and creating others into demons, while in addition his impervious defense plus many-sided attack left people helpless before him--this combination has made Muzan an even more daunting opponent than before.
