For redemption to be believable on-screen, it would need time, meaningful reparations, and clear behavioral change rather than a single sentimental moment. If the creators wanted to do it right, they’d make it a long, sometimes ugly process that tests the ponies’ capacity to forgive and forces Chrysalis to earn trust back. I’d personally prefer a slow-burn redemption over a sudden flip — more satisfying and truer to the themes of accountability and growth.
