I can confidently say Holly Smale is a gem. Her 'Geek Girl' series has six installments, starting with the self-titled book in 2013 and wrapping up with 'Forever Geek' in 2018. Harriet Manners, the protagonist, is one of my favorite characters—her awkwardness and intelligence make her so endearing.
Outside of 'Geek Girl,' Holly wrote 'The Cassandra Complex,' a standalone novel that explores themes of destiny and self-discovery. It's a bit more introspective compared to her usual lighthearted tone, but equally captivating. That brings her total published works to seven. I remember laughing out loud while reading 'Geek Girl' and being moved by 'The Cassandra Complex.' Holly Smale has a knack for blending humor with depth, and I’m eagerly awaiting her next project.
I absolutely adore her 'Geek Girl' series! From what I know, she's written a total of six books in that series alone. The first one came out in 2013, and the last one was published in 2018. Besides 'Geek Girl,' she also wrote 'The Cassandra Complex,' which is a standalone novel. That brings her total to seven books so far. I remember binge-reading the entire 'Geek Girl' series in one summer—Harriet Manners' adventures were so relatable and hilarious. I can't wait to see what Holly Smale comes up with next!
Holly Smale is one of those authors whose books I always keep an eye out for. She's best known for her 'Geek Girl' series, which consists of six books: 'Geek Girl,' 'Model Misfit,' 'Picture Perfect,' 'All That Glitters,' 'Head Over Heels,' and 'Forever Geek.' Each one follows Harriet Manners, a lovable geek who stumbles into the modeling world, and the series is packed with humor, heart, and quirky life lessons.
In addition to the 'Geek Girl' books, Holly also wrote 'The Cassandra Complex,' a standalone novel that came out in 2021. It's a bit different from her usual style, blending contemporary fiction with a dash of Greek mythology. So, in total, she's written seven books. I love how her writing evolves while still keeping that signature charm. If you haven't checked out her work yet, I highly recommend starting with 'Geek Girl'—it's a total mood booster!

This author once failed as a heroine… and returned as something entirely different.
Not as a savior.
But as the villain.
And she didn’t come back empty-handed.
She brought secrets.
She brought sins.
She brought a story that was never meant to be read.
Sinners & Saints is not just a collection of dark romance stories—
It is a confession.
A warning.
And a door best left unopened.
Within these pages lie twisted love stories where desire and destruction walk hand in hand, and every choice comes with a cost.
So the question is simple:
Will you turn away…
or step inside anyway?

Holly Smale has a special talent for crafting stories that resonate deeply with young adults, and her 'Geek Girl' series is a standout. I adore how she blends humor with heartfelt moments, making her characters feel like real people. The protagonist, Harriet Manners, is a quirky, lovable underdog who navigates the chaotic world of modeling while staying true to herself. The series is packed with witty dialogue, relatable struggles, and a dash of romance.
Another gem is 'All That Glitters,' which continues Harriet's journey with even more depth. The way Smale tackles themes like self-acceptance and friendship is both touching and inspiring. For readers who enjoy lighthearted yet meaningful stories, Holly Smale's books are a must-read.
her writing has this unique charm that keeps me hooked. As of now, there hasn't been an official announcement about a new book releasing in 2024, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Holly is pretty active on social media, especially Instagram, where she sometimes shares updates about her projects. Her last book, 'Cassie Draws the Universe,' came out in 2023, so it wouldn’t be surprising if she’s working on something new. I’d recommend checking her official website or publisher’s page for the latest news. If she does release something, you can bet I’ll be first in line to read it. Her blend of humor and heartfelt storytelling is just too good to miss.
I remember picking up the first book purely because of the vibrant cover. HarperCollins Children's Books publishes her novels in the UK. Their branding is pretty recognizable—distinctive fonts and bold colors that scream fun YA reads. I love how they've marketed her work, especially with those eye-catching designs that make her books stand out in stores. HarperCollins has a strong reputation for nurturing talented authors, and Smale's quirky, relatable writing fits perfectly with their lineup. It's cool to see how publishers shape an author's visibility, and HarperCollins definitely gives her books the spotlight they deserve.
I recently discovered Holly Smale's audiobooks and was blown away by her narration. She's the voice behind the 'Geek Girl' series, which is a fantastic listen if you enjoy young adult fiction with humor and heart. Her ability to bring Harriet Manners to life is incredible, making the character's quirky personality shine. I also found out she narrated 'The Valentines' series, another great pick for those who love contemporary YA. Her voice is so expressive and engaging, it really adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the stories. If you're into audiobooks, I highly recommend checking out her work.
