Been looking for this myself, and the situation's a bit messy. There's no single, official publisher for a global release. Different groups have taken stabs at fan translations over the years, with varying degrees of completion and quality. Some patches might get you through most of the text, but you'll often run into untranslated UI elements or occasional bugs. It's one of those titles where you have to dig through forums and check the latest status threads to see what's currently playable in English.
It's never been officially localized, which is a shame. The game's claustrophobic mystery feels like it would resonate with fans of slow-burn horror. But without a company like Sekai Project or MangaGamer stepping in, it's destined to remain a title you have to work pretty hard to experience in English.

I’m the heroine in an erotic story.
My specialty? Turning anything hot or cold into something steamy.
On the first day I landed in a horror game, the boss told everyone to choose how they wanted to die.
I smiled and said, “I’ll take shortness of breath, trembling legs, glazed eyes, and… pleasure so intense I die from it.”
Boss: “???”

I woke up inside a novel, and not even as an important character.
I became a pretty background extra in a smut novel.
My brother, however, was the only normal person in the entire story.
His character setting was the one man the soft, delicate heroine could never win over.
He was the cold, unattainable Prince Charming she could never conquer.
When the heroine cried and confessed her love, he was studying.
When she offered him her whole heart and body, he was busy starting a company.
When she spiraled into scandals and nightlife, he was already a billionaire, calm and untouchable.
I thought he would live a quiet, ascetic life forever.
Until one night, I walked in on him at midnight…
holding a piece of clothing I recognized all too well, murmuring a name over and over, a name so familiar that my scalp tingled.

After everyone believed he was dead, Lee Hyun-woo came back with three different personalities. But whatever his persona is, his only desire is to hunt down the mastermind of his family's massacre and find the woman he loves.
Lee Hyun-woo known as Baek Chang Seol, the heartless and ruthless mafia boss of the "Diamond Kkhangpae", has three rules; strict obedience, absolute loyalty, and compliance with extreme punishment for transgression. No one has seen his face for he always wears a mask and so he can only be identified by a three-diamond tattoo on his left arm.
Jeong Hyeo-ri, in her new identity as Park So-hee, became an undercover agent, skilled in martial arts who went back to South Korea to avenge her father's death and find her mother who went missing seven years ago.
When Jeong Hyeo-ri went out to perform an undercover operation, the "Diamond Kkhangpae" caught her and brought her to the mafia boss.
Knowing how skilled she was, Lee Hyun-woo wanted her to work for him but she would only accept it if he would reveal his true identity. Lee Hyun-woo accepted the challenge on one condition—she had to defeat him in a duel.
But what if the so-called duel ends up in bed, would it change everything?
Akemi Sean Lee is a woman who was loved, was hurt, and will take vengeance. After the tragedy she considered the darkest in her whole life, she changed herself into a version of a woman she didn’t imagine she would be. She worked hard, graduated, and specialized in New York in the field of engineering.
Five years later, she will be back in the Philippines. Wiser. Bolder. Braver. She will return to avenge the three people who threw her into the muddiest and darkest period of her life. An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth. A heart for a heart. She will be back for her game—the game of vengeance. But faith is indeed playful. In her game, she will discover something. Something that will rip her heart and herself apart once more.
How will she face and overcome the game that she thought was hers?
The brilliance is that no single ending gives you the 'full' story. You have to piece together the truth from fragments scattered across all of them. The complete picture exists only in the overlap, in the contradictions between endings.
It turns the player into an active detective, not just a passive reader. You're not just consuming an ending; you're compiling evidence from multiple realities to understand what might have really happened. It's an incredibly engaging way to structure a mystery.
I get asked this kind of thing all the time by friends who spot a cool cover online and want the English version, so I dug into it whenever 'Lovers Game' pops up. The tricky part is that title alone is ambiguous — multiple novels, manga, and visual novels use similar names, and sometimes the official English release keeps the original Japanese title or changes it completely.
What I usually do first is search for the Japanese title (if you have it) on VNDB, WorldCat, and Amazon JP, then check publishers' English catalogs like J-Novel Club, Yen Press, Seven Seas, and digital storefronts like Steam. If nothing shows up there, I look at ISBN searches and library catalogs (WorldCat or the National Diet Library) to see if translation rights have been claimed. Fan translations can exist, but official localizations are the ones that appear on legitimate stores or publisher press releases. If you can share the cover image or the original language title, I can help narrow it down — otherwise, my gut says there’s no widely known official English release under the plain title 'Lovers Game', but it’s worth checking the publisher’s site for announcements.
What's the install process like for DRM-free versions? Usually, you just run the installer or extract the archive and run the .exe file. No online checks, no launcher. You can even copy the folder to a portable drive. That's the beauty of buying from some of these niche publishers.
