Jumping into the realm of reborn series, 'Ascendance of a Bookworm' has to be highlighted. The protagonist, a book-loving girl, gets reborn in a world where books are scarce and starts as a little girl passionate about reading. Her struggle to recreate and distribute literacy is such an inspiring journey, and watching her find clever ways to bring her ideas to life is as heartwarming as it gets. It’s not only about reliving life but about using knowledge to impact the world positively!
And don't overlook 'The Devil Is a Part-Timer!'. Although it doesn’t exactly feature baby rebirth, it centers around a demon lord adapting to a mundane life after being thrust into our world! His transformation from an all-powerful figure to working in fast food is hysterical and heartwarming. It’s fascinating to see how characters evolve when put in such contrasting circumstances, and you can almost feel the ‘rebirth’ vibe as they explore new aspects of their identities!
The rebirth theme definitely pops in several series! 'Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious' comes to mind. It’s all about a guy being summoned to save a fantasy world, and while it doesn’t fit the traditional newborn theme, he effectively starts fresh with incredible powers and endless caution. Then there's 'Jobless Reincarnation: I Will Seriously Try If I Go to Another World'. The main character, after a tragic ending, gets a chance to live again as a young boy. He takes this second chance seriously, aiming for personal growth, which is a beautiful spin on the reborn concept! The mix of humor and genuine life lessons makes it a standout and a personal favorite, honestly. It’s wild how diverse these themes can be!
Reborn themes are really fascinating in anime and manga! One title that has totally captured my attention is 'Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World'. The way Subaru is thrust into this new world, only to find that he has the ability to return to a 'save point' every time he dies, adds a layer of complexity that keeps you glued to each episode. It’s not exactly reborn as an infant, but the concept of starting over gives that same thrill. The emotional stakes are sky-high, especially with how he interacts with characters like Emilia and Rem. I can’t get enough of the character development and the tension that arises from Subaru’s journey!
Then there's 'The Rising of the Shield Hero'. It’s fascinating to see the main character, Naofumi, having to rebuild his life from the ground up after being summoned to another world. While it's not classic reincarnation, the themes of growth and starting fresh resonate deeply. Watching him adapt to this new life, facing betrayal and challenges, makes it feel like he's reborn in a sense—learning from the past to forge a new beginning. Oh, and don’t forget the wonderful fantasy elements that always draw me in!
Another one that I find absolutely delightful is 'That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime'. The protagonist’s rebirth into a magic-infused world as a slime is such a unique twist! It’s a wild ride watching Rimuru learn to navigate this new life and build a kingdom. The blend of humor, adventure, and clever power-ups makes it an addictive watch. Plus, who wouldn’t love a protagonist who can literally absorb abilities from others? It’s both a whimsy-filled journey and a fantastic take on rebirth.
Lastly, I can't leave out 'KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!'. Although it leans more into the comedy genre, Kazuma's resurrection after dying in a hilarious accident and his antics in the fantasy world still fall under that reborn theme. It’s all about that second chance! Each character brings their own flair, and the sheer absurdity of the situations they find themselves in keeps it light-hearted and entertaining! In the midst of all the serious plots, sometimes you just want to kick back and laugh, and this show delivers!

If you had a chance to be reborn into a new world, would you change anything? A series of stories of being reborn and changing ones fate.
My best friend, Clara Wilder, has baked an apple pie for me. But I don't hesitate to give it to my pregnant dog.
That's because I've gotten reborn.
In my previous lifetime, Clara had bound the Fertility Transfer System to me. If I were to eat the food she made, the baby I was pregnant with would be transferred into her womb, and she would be the one giving birth to them.
Clara had married into the wealthy Gray family. For three generations, the Grays were only able to produce one heir each. That was why her in-laws desperately needed her to bear them grandchildren.
Since Clara couldn't get pregnant at all, she decided to target me, her newly-wedded best friend.
I went to great lengths just to get pregnant every time, but right after I ate the food Clara made, I'd go through a miscarriage by accident.
Just like that, Clara was able to give birth to four sons in a row. She became the apple of her in-laws and her husband, Colton Gray's eye, which made her ego swell like mad.
In the end, Clara and Colton hatched a plot where they accused me of cheating on my own husband. With my reputation flushed down the drain, I got kicked out by my in-laws. In the end, I starved to death on the streets without a penny under my name.
At the end of the day, Clara wants children very badly, doesn't she?
After I get reborn, I decide to give her some special "babies".
Elena Brown discovered that her husband of five years was cheating with her half-sister. When she confronted him, he not only murdered her but also framed her for cheating on him. That fateful night, not only did Elena lose her life, but also the life of her unborn child. But fate had other plans for Elena. Miraculously, she was given a second chance when she was reborn five years before she married her husband. Determined to seek revenge on her husband and step-sister, Elena boldly decided to become the pretend bride of the hottest billionaire in the country. With his support, she was determined to make them pay for their actions.
My grandmother only knows how to draw one thing—infants. They're ugly, but people line up to buy the paintings.
I watch as she takes those women into unlit rooms. Then, their bloodcurdling screams will ring out.
Oddly enough, they always thank my grandmother when they're leaving.
One day, I finally find out what exactly my grandmother paints. I discover the truth when I see an infant crawl out of one of the women's bellies—it looks just like the one my grandmother has painted.
I am powerful, the most powerful witch until I give birth to a vampire and a half-witch. An Immortal Baby, the immortality of a baby was dangerous to every race, to vampires, werewolves, witches, and especially humans. Compare to Vampires who are naturally immortals, immortal babies are stronger and had no control over their thirst.
How will I protect her against the world? How did I become a mother and a wife of vampires who I consider enemies?
Will I fulfill my responsibility as a mother to her who they consider a demon?
In her previous life, Clara Bennett was switched at birth and ended up in the hands of a greedy adoptive family. Betrayed and used, she met a tragic end. Given a second chance, Clara chooses to walk away from the Bennett family and returns to her poor but loving biological parents, the Howards. Everyone thinks she'll regret giving up her life as a wealthy heiress. But no one expected the truth—Clara is actually the CEO of a powerful corporation. Not only does she lift the Howards out of poverty, she also marries the heir of a billionaire family. This time, she's not just surviving. She's reclaiming her life and rewriting her fate.
