Check the author's Patreon or subscribestar. A lot of serialized fiction starts there before hitting wide release. If 'Era of Light' was serialized, the compiled ebook might be a patron reward. Failing that, the Amazon Kindle store is the default for most ebooks, even obscure ones. I didn't love the book's ending, to be honest, but finding it wasn't hard.

Finding the digital versions of 'Era of Light' feels a bit like a puzzle these days. I last looked seriously about six months back, and it seemed like the official channels were pretty limited. It's one of those indie-progression-fantasy-adjacent books that has a cult following but isn't plastered everywhere.
Your best route is to check the author's website directly, if they have one. A lot of writers in that space self-publish through Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing, so the Kindle Store should be your first stop. I'm almost positive I saw it there. For audiobooks, it's trickier. If it's not on Audible, sometimes authors do royalty-share deals with smaller platforms or even release serialized audio on apps like Soundbooth. It's worth a quick search on those. I remember the cover art being a deep blue with a glowing cityscape—if you see that, you've got the right one.

Wait, are we talking about the same 'Era of Light'? The one by K. M. Reid? If so, I bought the ebook directly from her website storefront last year. She had it set up through a service called PayHip. No DRM, which was nice. It wasn't on any of the big subscription services like Kindle Unlimited at the time, but that might have changed. The audiobook situation is murkier. I don't think a professional narration exists yet, but I swear I heard a rumor about a community-driven fan audio project on a Discord server. I never found a link, though, so that might just be wishful thinking.

I've got it right here on my Kobo! Definitely purchased from the Kobo store. Sometimes these niche titles aren't synchronized across all retailers immediately, so if you don't see it on Amazon, try Kobo, Barnes & Noble, or Google Play Books. I find Kobo's store search is better for less mainstream stuff. As for audio, a complete absence on Audible usually means it's not available in that format officially. You could try dropping the author a polite ask on social media—sometimes they're working on it and just haven't announced anything. The book itself is a pretty quick read, so even if you just get the text, it's not a huge time investment.

Okay, looking for the 'Era of Light' audiobook online is tricky because it's a bit of a niche title. I scoured Audible and Scribd last month, and it wasn't there. I ended up finding it on a platform called Authors Republic, which I'd never heard of before, but it seems to be where the publisher or narrator directly distributes it.
You might also check Kobo or Google Play Audiobooks, as sometimes these smaller fantasy titles pop up there. A word of warning: the production quality isn't quite Audible-studio level, the narrator's pacing feels a little rushed in the early chapters, but you get used to it. It was worth it for me just to finally hear the lore sections aloud.
so your best options are platforms that specialize in South Asian languages. I found the ebook on a site called Rekhta, which has a huge archive of Urdu literature. It's a free, non-profit project, so that's probably the most reliable place to start. I couldn't spot it on major international stores like Amazon Kindle at a glance, but it might be region-locked.
For audiobooks, it's trickier. I haven't come across a professional recording, but there are YouTube channels that read out Urdu novels chapter by chapter. The quality varies a lot, and it's more like someone reading it aloud than a produced audiobook with different voices. Still, if you're desperate to listen, searching the title on YouTube might pull up a playlist. Just be ready for some background noise or odd pronunciations.
Found myself in that exact spot last week after a friend mentioned 'Dawn of a New Era.' Wanted to check it out but had no clue where to even begin looking.
Turns out, Scribd is a solid starting point. It's got the full text for subscribers, and I've had decent luck finding older serials there. Royal Road is another one—since it feels like a web serial, I gave that a shot. Actually found some similar-styled fictions, but not the exact title.
For audio, I briefly saw it on a site called Kuku FM, but the narration felt a bit off. Honestly, I ended up just Googling the title with 'read online' and found a PDF on a random library forum. Not the most elegant solution, but it got me through the first few chapters.
The real mystery is why it's so scattered. You'd think a book with that name would be on the main storefronts. Makes me wonder if it's published under a different name somewhere.
