Check Scribd. It's a subscription service, but they have a huge, messy catalog of ebooks and audiobooks, including a lot of self-published fantasy stuff that doesn't always show up elsewhere. I've found obscure titles there that weren't on the bigger platforms. Just search their library; you might get lucky.
I had the same hunt a while back. If you're looking for the LitRPG title, it's most likely 'Mage's Book' or something very similar, though pinning down the exact one can be tricky in that genre. My success came from checking the major ebook retailers like Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Kobo directly. The audiobook version, if it exists, would almost certainly be on Audible, as they have the lion's share of that market.
Sometimes these indie fantasy titles get shuffled between different publishers or go through Kindle Unlimited, which means they might be exclusive to Amazon for a stretch. It's worth doing a search on those platforms with a few variations—maybe try 'Mage Book' or the author's name if you know it. I found my copy through Kindle Unlimited, but it was a temporary borrow.
Honestly, good luck. I spent ages trying to track down a proper ebook for this, and I'm still not convinced I found the right one. There are a bunch of webnovels and serials with similar names floating around on sites like Royal Road, which can be read online for free but aren't always compiled into a clean ebook. If an audiobook is a must for you, your best shot is Audible's search, but I came up empty last I checked. Might be one of those stories that just never got an audio adaptation.
It's frustrating because the premise sounded cool, but the discoverability for these niche titles is terrible. You might have more luck asking in a dedicated LitRPG or progression fantasy subreddit where someone might have a direct link.

I totally get the urge to dive into 'The Mage the Magpie'—it’s one of those hidden gems that feels like stumbling upon a secret treasure chest! While I’m all for supporting creators (seriously, buying official releases keeps the magic alive), I’ve found some unofficial fan translations floating around on sites like MangaDex or Bato.to. These platforms are community-driven, so the quality can vary, but they’re often the only way to access lesser-known titles. Just be prepared for occasional rough translations or missing chapters.
That said, if you’re vibing with the story, consider checking out the original publisher’s website or platforms like ComiXology for official releases. Sometimes, they offer free first chapters as a teaser! Either way, I hope you enjoy the ride—it’s got such a whimsical art style and a protagonist who’s equal parts charming and chaotic.
I was hunting for 'The Mage's Book' for ages! Ended up buying the Kindle version off Amazon since it's the official release. It's got seamless sync across devices, which is a lifesaver for switching between my phone and tablet.
A word of caution—a bunch of sites with 'free PDF' in the name popped up, but they looked super sketchy. I've heard authors often lose out on royalties from those, so I'd rather support the creator directly. The price wasn't bad, either.
