Man, I just looked this up the other day! 'Reapers of the Grimm' is definitely an ebook—you can find it on the usual suspects like Amazon Kindle, Kobo, and probably Google Play Books. I snagged it for my tablet a few months back. The audiobook situation is trickier. I've poked around Audible, Libby through my library, and even Scribd, and came up empty. No narrator listed anywhere, which usually means it hasn't been produced. Sometimes these web serials or indie titles get the ebook treatment first to test the waters before investing in audio production, which seems to be the case here.
It's a shame, because the premise with those grim reaper-style hunters would be awesome to listen to. I ended up using the text-to-speech function on my e-reader as a workaround. It's not the same as a pro narration, but it got the job done for my commute. I'd keep an eye on the author's social media or website; if the ebook sells well, an audiobook announcement might follow down the line.

Actually, I'm not entirely sure if we're talking about the same thing. I found an ebook called 'Reapers of the Grimm' on Amazon, but the author name was something generic and the cover looked like low-budget stock art. There were only two reviews, both vague. It made me wonder if it's the original story from a site like Royal Road, or maybe some random person uploaded a story with a similar title.
For the audiobook, I haven't seen it. I checked a couple of the bigger audiobook subscription services and found nothing. It might be one of those stories that's only serialized online for free. You could try searching the title on forums like Reddit's r/litrpg or r/ProgressionFantasy; someone there might know the definitive source or if a proper audiobook is in the works. Without a clear author to search for, it's a bit of a detective game.

Yeah, it's an ebook. I bought it on Kindle. No audiobook that I could find, which is disappointing because the action scenes would translate really well. The ebook itself is a fun, fast-paced read if you're into monster-hunting progression fantasy. Just don't go in expecting a polished trad-pub experience; the prose is serviceable and the plot moves quickly. I read it over a weekend.

In a world where the moon shattered and the strong devoured the weak, Neoma Solstice is nothing. A scentless Null. A ghost. A mistake.
Until the day she saves a dying Lycan warrior with a touch, and her secret is revealed: she's Void-Born, the rarest mutation in existence. The same power that makes her invisible makes her invaluable—a living weapon that can cure the incurable Feral Rot plaguing the Lycan Ascendancy.
Captured and collared, Neoma is forced to serve as "Tether" to Unit Vanguard: four elite soldiers on the brink of madness. Barzil, the ruthless Commander who sees her as a mission. Wolfy, the cold Tactician who sees her as a puzzle. Viggo, the feral Berserker who sees her as salvation. Guller, the fallen Priest who sees her as redemption.
They own her contract. They control her life. They swear she's just a tool.
But tools don't make their masters kneel.
As Neoma's power grows, so does the threat she poses to the regime that enslaved her. When the prophesied Blood Moon rises, she'll have to choose: remain the Ascendancy's battery, or become the Void that devours them whole.
Some bonds are forged in blood. Some in magic. Theirs was forged in desperation—and it might be the only thing strong enough to save a dying world.
The Obsidian Covenant is a dark dystopian reverse harem romance featuring a morally gray FMC, four obsessive MLs, found family dynamics, enemies-to-lovers, rejected mate redemption, and a slow-burn that explodes into high heat. My name is Rayne and I've always been alone in life. Except for him… The Demon that watches me in the night. Reavers are ruthless, blood thirsty creatures. Disguised as distinguished gentlemen in suits and ties, the brothers will kill without rhyme or reason. Everything about them is made to attract you, make you forget that you should be fucking running the opposite direction. And it works.
I live in the most powerful pack in the world. But even my Alpha is afraid of the brothers. The Reaver with eyes of molten gold, hunts me like it's a fucking game. He follows me, watches me in secret, and makes himself known if I do something he doesn't like… It's been 7 years since he laid his claim on me, but he should have let me fucking drown.
He tries to control every aspect of my life, but I will do what I want, when I want, and I would like to see him try and fucking stop me. In fact, I'm counting on it… I refuse to be anyone's puppet. Not the Demon who watches me, not my Alpha's, and sure as fuck not the Demon's younger brother.
I've heard the whispers. I know there's something different about me... But that gives exactly no one the right to think they fucking own me. How much am I willing to give up to prove that point? I ask myself this question, and then make a choice… A choice that nearly destroys me.
Lucky for me, The Darkness would never let me face this trauma alone… With The Darkness on my side, I feel fucking invincible, and I'm going to go out of my way to make sure that everyone knows exactly where I fucking stand.

DEATH GETS A LOVE LIFE.
"I accept," I say all at once and then lower my eyes shyly. "If you think my human body can serve as a substitute for her and fill your hunger, I'm willing to take that chance."
The feeling that I recognize in his eyes is one of shock and even fear, as though he hadn't expected at all that I'd agree.
"Let's do it," I whisper across the gap between us.

When metalhead Janet Buenviaje dies in a diving accident, she falls into an underworld prison where the only way out is through an eccentric reaper named Septimus Rex. As monarch of Soul City, Septimus Rex leads an army of supernatural Ravens tasked with the deportation of overstaying souls from the mortal realm.
But the fates smile on Janet because the head reaper has problems of his own. He has fallen in love with a mortal girl; an abhorrent sign of weakness that, if discovered by the Ravens, will start a power struggle in Hell. With Janet's help, Septimus must now attempt to confess his feelings to the girl of his dreams so he can go back to being devoid of human sentiment.
Janet is reincarnated as a Wampus Cat reaper and hatches an escape plan to the surface world. But she finds that things in the underworld are not what they seem and Septimus's problems run deeper, somehow even linked to her own mysterious past.
I had to check my notes because 'Reapers of the Grimm' loves its ensemble cast. From what I got, the central figure is definitely Alistair Vale—a guy who finds out he can see these 'Reapers' that clean up after supernatural incidents tied to Grimm fairytales gone wrong. He's got that reluctant hero energy, paired with Elara Vance, a seasoned Reaper who's all business and carries a lot of secrets from the organization's past.
Then there's the third wheel, Finn, who's Alistair's best friend and serves as the comic relief and tech support. Honestly, Finn sometimes steals the show for me. The antagonists aren't just monsters; there's this whole shadowy faction within the Reapers themselves, led by someone called the Keeper, who seems to have a very different idea about how to handle the Grimm manifestations. The dynamic between Alistair learning the ropes and Elara's jaded professionalism is what really drives the early plot.
'Grimus' is such an underrated gem! From what I've found, there doesn't seem to be an official audiobook version available yet, which is a real shame. I checked major platforms like Audible, Libro.fm, and even library catalogs, but no luck.
It's surprising because Rushdie's other novels like 'Midnight's Children' and 'The Satanic Verses' have fantastic audiobook adaptations. Maybe it's due to 'Grimus' being his debut—less commercial demand? I'd love to hear someone like Vikas Adam narrate it; his voice would suit the novel's surreal vibe perfectly. Until then, I guess we'll have to enjoy the old-school way—dog-eared pages and imagination.
I actually dug around for this after finishing the last chapter. From what I can find, there isn't a direct sequel that continues the main plot with the original cast. The author, D.J. Kile, seems to have moved on to other projects under that pen name, like 'The Return of the Broken Constellation'.
There was some chatter a while back about a potential spin-off focusing on a different branch of Reapers or maybe a prequel about the first Grimm wars, but it never materialized into an announced project. The original webnovel platforms it was on, like Webnovel, still just list the single completed work. It's a bit of a bummer—the world had a lot of room to grow, but sometimes stories just end.
