Looking to get over a betrayal and layoff, Everest Prue Camara goes to the small town of Lucerne-Alpane County to find recluse, and hopefully, discover a new passion. In the near-future, Earth is ravaged by nuclear detonations and out-of-control wildfires, society crumbles into a lawless wasteland.
