Of course it is. Every Sherlock Holmes story has been turned into an audiobook multiple times by now. You've got classic readings by people like Derek Jacobi, full-cast dramatizations from the BBC, even modern retellings. The question is which version you want.
I'd avoid the really old, scratchy public domain ones unless you're a purist on a budget. A subscription service like Scribd gives you access to several versions without needing to buy each one individually. The one narrated by Simon Vance is my personal favorite—clear, engaging, and he handles the different character voices without being over the top.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a book titled 'Sherlock Holmes 1'—people usually mean the first story collection, 'A Study in Scarlet' or maybe 'The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes'. Audible and Libro.fm have heaps of narrated versions. I grabbed Jeremy Brett's narration from the library app last month; it's not new, but his voice fits that dry wit perfectly.
Some audiobooks bundle the early novels together, so you might get 'A Study in Scarlet' and 'The Sign of Four' in one purchase. Stephen Fry reads a complete set that's popular, though I found his pace a bit slow for my commute. If you're just testing the waters, a free public domain recording from LibriVox works, but the quality varies wildly depending on the volunteer reader.

Yeah, basically all of them are. Just search for 'A Study in Scarlet audiobook' or 'The Complete Sherlock Holmes'. Tons of options out there. I listened to a version read by Benedict Cumberbatch a while back; it was fine, though I prefer the books in print for those dense descriptive passages. The audio's good for long walks.

Meet Esmerelda Sleuth. Sleuth is her name and investigating is her game. (Paranormal Investigating, that is.)
Esmerelda makes a good living as an investigator in a rather progressive firm. She lives a stable and sensible life until she meets Lance; an old money "hottie" who works for a real estate firm next to her building. After accepting an invitation for a weekend getaway party, she quickly discovers that Lance has a secret. He is wealthy. That part is true. And, yes, he's procured a job as a realtor in the building next door. His secret is that he belongs to an underground society of humans who didn't abandon their connection to magic centuries ago when religion declared it evil and he has traveled through time specifically to find her and bring her back to his time to marry him. If that isn't enough of a far fetched tale to absorb, he informs her that she was born in his time to a family belonging to that same secret society and was promised in marriage to him as an infant. When enemies who didn't want to see the union of families take place made attempts on her life, her parents sent her into the future and erased her memories of them as a precaution.
Possessing virtually no belief in magic, ghosts, psychics, time travel, etc., it takes some doing on Lance's part to convince her to believe his story and go back with him. When she does, the lies, deceit and attempts on her life start all over again. Will she escape emotionally and physically unscathed?

He’d placed a magic box for them to communicate until he found a way to safely be with her beneath the floorboards of the house.
Now, she must find it.
A task that is easier said than done!

Looking for free audiobooks can feel like hunting for hidden treasure, and 'The Greatest Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' is one of those gems worth digging for. I've stumbled upon a few places where classics like this pop up—Librivox is a solid starting point since they offer public domain works read by volunteers. The narration quality varies, but there's something charming about amateur performances. Project Gutenberg might also have text versions that pair well with free text-to-speech tools, though it's not the same as a professional audiobook.
If you're open to trials, services like Audible often give you a free credit to snag any title, including Sherlock Holmes collections. Just remember to cancel if you don't want to pay. Alternatively, check your local library's digital catalog—apps like Libby or Hoopla let you borrow audiobooks legally. It's surprising how many libraries stock Conan Doyle's stories!
I can confidently say that Arthur Conan Doyle's novels are widely available as audiobooks. You can find his iconic 'Sherlock Holmes' series narrated by talented voice actors on platforms like Audible, Librivox, and even YouTube. The crisp, suspenseful storytelling of 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' or 'A Study in Scarlet' becomes even more immersive when you hear it aloud. Some versions even feature dramatic readings with sound effects, making the mysteries feel alive.
For those who prefer a more traditional approach, there are also audiobooks read by renowned actors like Stephen Fry, whose smooth narration adds a layer of charm to Holmes' deductive brilliance. Whether you're commuting or just relaxing, Doyle's works in audio form are a fantastic way to experience his genius storytelling without flipping a page.
I'm a classic literature enthusiast and audiobook lover, so I've explored this topic deeply. Yes, you can absolutely find Arthur Conan Doyle's works in audiobook format. His iconic 'Sherlock Holmes' series is widely available across platforms like Audible, Librivox, and Google Play Books. I particularly enjoy the versions narrated by Stephen Fry—his voice brings Holmes and Watson to life in a way that feels authentic to the Victorian era. Beyond the Holmes stories, Doyle's lesser-known works like 'The Lost World' also have excellent audiobook renditions. Many are even available for free through public domain services, making them accessible to everyone.
I recommend checking out different narrators to find the style that suits you best. Some prefer the crisp delivery of Simon Vance, while others enjoy the dramatic flair of Derek Jacobi. The variety ensures there's something for every listener.
