If you're trying to jump straight into 'Prince Ali Rescue' and shave off the faff, here's the approach I use that always gets me into the quest start in under a minute from the city I’m in. First, pick the fastest teleport you have to get you into the general region — Varrock or Lumbridge teleports work fine if that's what you have, otherwise run/boat to Al Kharid. Once you're in the vicinity, head for the palace area in Al Kharid (it's the big building by the eastern gate) and look for the NPC standing near the palace entrance. Talking to that NPC kicks off the quest, so that’s your immediate objective. To be even quicker: prepare before you log in. I keep a small hotkeyed loadout — basic food (if you want to feel safe), a cheap weapon just in case, and any teleport items that save running time. If you have a teleport that drops you close to Al Kharid, use it; if not, Varrock teleport > run south-east is usually the fastest public-route. Also, check whether your world is crowded. I’ll hop worlds if the Al Kharid gate is backed up with players or if I get stuck in a pathing queue. That little trick often slices precious seconds off the run. Finally, don’t overthink requirements — 'Prince Ali Rescue' is very beginner-friendly and can be started with minimal gear. If you want to chain it into other quests or tasks, I’ll set a house teleport nearby or stash my inventory at the nearest bank first, but if the goal is simply to start the quest quickly, the fastest method is: teleport close, run to the palace gate, talk to the palace NPC, and follow the opening dialogue. I always get a small kick from how quick the setup can be when I plan the tiny details, so give that pre-teleport checklist a try and you'll be inside the quest in a flash.
Got about two minutes and want to be in the 'Prince Ali Rescue' quest scene ASAP? Here's the no-nonsense sprint I use. Teleport to whichever city gets you closest (Varrock is my go-to if I don't have an Al Kharid-specific teleport), then run straight to Al Kharid’s palace — it’s the large structure by the eastern gate. Find the NPC standing by the palace entrance and talk to them; that single conversation is the trigger to start the quest. If you want to shave off extra seconds, do two tiny prep things before you log in: equip the fastest teleport you own and stash a little food or a cheap weapon in your inventory so you don’t detour to the bank. World-hop if the area is laggy or crowded. Those small prep habits are what make my runs feel slick and fuss-free — hope you enjoy how quickly it kicks off!

My father sold me. My boyfriend betrayed me. And now I belong to the Alpha Prince in a coma. Lillian is sent to the royal palace as a surrogate candidate for Prince Grayson, the kingdom’s unconscious heir. Every other girl is rejected by his deadly inner wolf — until Lillian steps forward, and the beast chooses her. Overnight, she goes from discarded pack girl to Luna Princess. But her new title comes with a dangerous price. Her ex wants to use her to steal the throne. The palace is crawling with enemies. And the prince everyone thinks is sleeping may be hiding a secret powerful enough to destroy them all. He is dangerous. He is watching. And he may be the only one who can save her.
This is the story of Millicent Walker, a mysterious orphan who arrives in the small coastal town of Crimson, mute, nameless, and with no memory of her life before. Hired out by the orphanage to pay for her room and board, her strange appearance and mannerisms lead her to be seen as a freak. To many, she was seen as having less value than the rags she used to clean the floors.
When a blight comes to Crimson, the dragon demands a virgin "of marriageable age" as a sacrifice in exchange for his assistance.
Seen as strange, even cursed, Millicent was an easy choice for the sacrifice. Loved and wanted by no one, there was nobody to fight for her when they chained her to the cart and left her at the base of the hill to be defiled or devoured.
Little did they know, her sacrifice would be their biggest mistake.
Carnelia Majere, the dragon queen who was once a nameless human, has never faced a challenge half as dangerous or cruel as this one.
When her children become ill, she begs aid from her enemies only to discover that her dead husband, Primus Majere, Dragon King of Luxandra, is alive and imprisoned. Determined to do whatever it takes to free him, she will forge unlikely alliances and battle new monsters as she fights to reclaim her dragon prince.
BOOK 2 in the DRAGON PRINCE SAGA.
This is a world ruled by werewolves, where werewolves dominate humans, even keeping them as their human pets. Amelia is an orphan raised as a pet, and her coming-of-age ceremony is fast approaching, which means she is about to face a life-changing decision. She wants to take control of her own fate and tries to escape, but in the process, she unexpectedly saves another human slave who is also trying to flee. Owen, the Alpha prince of this nation, never imagined that he would be saved by a human girl. She thought he was a runaway slave, and the whole situation seemed like a joke to him.
Owen decides to take Amelia with him, to save her and make her his human pet, offering her a comfortable life.
But Amelia never asked for any of this.
" Dad, please, please don't make me do this," I begged, gripping his suit.
My father gave me away to Arlon William, the wealthiest man in town, who was thirty years my senior. He was a ruthless businessman, creditor, and self-proclaimed Alpha of Rogues.
"You will marry this man to help the family," He growled at me.
"I'll work hard to help you pay off the debts, father, I promise. Please don't force me to marry him," I pleaded, but he didn't listen.

I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve run through that rescue — it’s one of those quests that mixes sneaking, talking, and a little bit of scheming, and a surprising number of NPCs pitch in along the way. The people who actually help you during the prince ali rescue quest aren’t all big-name heroes; a lot of them are guards, servants, and locals who open doors or give crucial bits of information.
Early on you get help from the palace staff and Al Kharid guards. Palace servants (the cooks and steward types) are useful for pointing you toward where the prince was taken and sometimes distract guards so you can slip past. The Al Kharid guards are your first practical allies — they’ll let you into certain areas or stand aside if you’ve handled the right conversations, and their patrol routes are what you learn to exploit. There’s also a jailer-type NPC in the area who controls access to the dungeons; getting him on your side (through conversation or the right items) is a core part of getting closer to the prince.
As you get deeper into the rescue you meet local contacts who provide items or clues: marketplace traders who sell or hint at where to find keys, a camel/boat operator who moves you between towns, and other low-level officials who can unlock gates. And of course the prince himself is effectively an NPC who helps once you reach him — he provides the dialogue options and choices that let you extract him safely. I always pay attention to dialogue lines from background characters because they often contain the exact phrase that triggers a guard’s goodwill or tells you which NPC to bribe. After a few runs you start to think of the quest as a choreography of small favors from lots of small NPCs rather than a single big rescue, and that’s part of why I enjoy replaying it — the way the guards’ schedules, the servants’ hints, and the merchants’ gossip all interlock to open the path to the prince feels really satisfying.
