As an avid theme-switcher for phones, I will show you how to snap out of replacing Instagram with Batman. That's because Instagram's dark mode isn't controlled from within the app but instead put under settings. So if you're using an iPhone, then go to 'Settings', 'Display & Brightness' and choose 'Light'. And if you're an Android user it is better to go "Settings," "Display", find the 'Theme' option and choose 'Light'. Open Instagram again and you will see that the app looks like a day in summer.
I remember all too well it's all to clear, for people like me who are addicted to Instagram at night staring their electronic screens how the operation works to switch from dark mode back into normal. To disable dark mode you need to go menu by menu in redundancy of your iPhone's settings. If you are an Apple fan like me, you can go to 'Settings', find 'Display & Brightness', and select 'Light'. But don't despair, Android users are not forsaken Just head to 'Settings' on your phone, and then 'Display'. Tap 'Theme' next, and all that's left to do is choose "Light". Lastly, upon completion, reinstate Instagram; the app will now be completely bathed in sunlight.
As an old Instagram user, I have had more than a few chances to play its settings. If you want to get rid of Instagram's dark mode, you won't find the option in the app.You have to go to your phone's settings. On iOS, go to 'Settings', 'Display & Brightness' and select 'Light'.On Android, go to 'Settings', 'Display', 'Theme' and then choose 'Light'.Then, head back into Instagram and the light version should now be presented to you again.

“You called me a whore for what we did that day! And that is how you treated me,” Lara condemned starkly, sticking to her point. “You see, I was only twenty-three and I had absolutely no experience with a man like you, Christophe. You are the one who took advantage…”
“I wanted you like crazy, Lara!”
The assurance was harsh, immovable, no admission of fault. Her mouth twisted painfully.
Christophe Moreau appeared in Lara’s life in the most vulnerable moment possible. He was powerful, strong, stunning… way too overwhelming for such a young girl like herself. "I have always been a lover of sunshine, an admirer of the light of day, a daughter of the Sun. To see the beauty of the world and its people in the glimmer of daylight made me feel loved. I was unduly blinded by the goodness of every day that I overlooked the cruelty of life; it was already late when I realized that the dark dawns to shade my beautiful world with pitch-black."
The story of the prince and princess is a fairy tale. So what's the story of you and me?

I recently updated my Wattpad app and was thrown off by the sudden dark mode takeover. Here's how I fixed it: Open the Wattpad app and tap your profile icon in the bottom right. From there, go to 'Settings' and scroll down to 'Theme.' You'll see options for 'Light,' 'Dark,' or 'System Default.' Tap 'Light' to switch back. If you're using the web version, click your profile picture in the top right, then select 'Settings' and find the 'Theme' dropdown under 'Appearance.'
Sometimes updates reset preferences, so it’s worth checking other settings too. If the app glitches, try force-closing and reopening it. If the issue persists, reinstalling might help—just make sure your account is backed up first. Dark mode is great for late-night reading, but I prefer the classic light theme for daytime browsing. Wattpad’s updates can be unpredictable, but at least this setting is easy to adjust.
Man, I remember when Instagram first rolled out dark mode—it was such a game-changer for my late-night scrolling sessions. If you're using an iPhone, it's super easy: just head to your Settings app, tap 'Display & Brightness,' and select 'Dark.' Instagram will automatically switch to match your system settings. Android users can do the same under 'Display' settings or toggle it directly in Instagram's theme options if your app version supports it.
One thing I love about dark mode is how much easier it is on the eyes, especially when you're binge-watching Stories or checking out reels in low light. Plus, it just looks cooler—like the app went from casual daytime vibes to sleek nighttime mode. If you're not seeing the option, make sure your app is updated; sometimes new features roll out slowly.
