Fun fact: Yuki Kaji also voiced Meliodas in 'The Seven Deadly Sins,' so hearing him as Billy Poco was a trip! His voice has this unique warmth that fits Billy's playful yet slightly reckless vibe. I’ve rewatched some scenes just to appreciate his delivery—like how he makes even the dumbest lines sound iconic. It’s crazy how much a voice actor can elevate a character. Kaji’s performance makes Billy feel like someone you’d wanna hang out with, flaws and all.
Yuki Kaji as Billy Poco? Perfect casting. His voice brings out the character’s charm and unpredictability, making every scene he’s in a blast. Whether Billy’s scheming or showing unexpected depth, Kaji delivers. It’s no wonder fans adore his work.
Yuki Kaji's portrayal of Billy Poco is a masterclass in voice acting. He nails the character's chaotic energy, balancing humor and vulnerability in a way that feels effortless. I love how he switches between Billy's sarcastic one-liners and those rare, quiet moments of sincerity. It's a reminder of why Kaji is such a standout in the industry—he never phones it in, even for smaller roles. Plus, hearing him in interviews, you can tell he genuinely enjoys bringing characters like Billy to life.
Man, I was so hyped when I found out who voiced Billy Poco! It's Yuki Kaji, the same legend behind Eren Yeager in 'Attack on Titan' and Todoroki in 'My Hero Academia'. His range is insane—he can go from Billy's playful, mischievous tone to those intense, emotional moments flawlessly. I remember binge-watching the anime and thinking, 'Wow, this character feels so alive,' and Kaji's performance is a huge reason why.
What's cool is how he adapts to Billy's quirky personality, adding little vocal quirks that make the character stand out. Like that signature laugh? Pure gold. It's wild how voice actors can bring so much depth to a role, making even side characters unforgettable. Kaji's work here just cements his status as one of my all-time favorites.

There are a few ways to take this question, so let me walk you through how I’d track it down if I were sitting on the couch with tea and my phone. First, the voice credit depends on which language you mean—Japanese cast vs English dub—so the same ‘balladeer’ could have two different names attached. If you tell me the exact anime title, I can be specific, but in general the quickest tricks are: check the end credits of the episode (paused on your phone while the kettle boils), look at the episode page on sites like 'MyAnimeList' or 'Anime News Network', or search the episode name plus “cast” on IMDb. Those usually list the credited role names, and you can spot the term 'Balladeer' if it's used in the credits.
If you want me to name a voice actor right now, give me the show title or a screenshot/timecode and I’ll dig in. I’ve done this a dozen times when a mysterious narrator or bard shows up singing in the background and I needed to know who performed it—sometimes it's a big-name seiyuu you’d recognize, sometimes it’s an in-house singer credited under a stage name. Happy to hunt it down for you if you drop the anime title or an episode number.
Billy Poco is such a fascinating character from the manga 'Billy Poco'—he’s this scrappy, determined kid who’s got a heart of gold but constantly finds himself in wild, supernatural situations. The series mixes slice-of-life vibes with eerie folklore, and Billy’s the glue holding it all together. What I love is how his curiosity often gets him into trouble, but he never backs down, even when facing yokai or ghosts. His growth from a naive boy to someone who understands the weight of the unseen world is so satisfying to follow.
One of my favorite arcs involves Billy befriending a lonely spirit nobody else can see. It’s bittersweet and shows his empathy shining through. The manga’s art style amplifies his expressive reactions, making even mundane moments feel magical. If you’re into stories where the ordinary meets the extraordinary, Billy’s journey is a must-read.
Billy Poco is the adorable little ghost boy from 'GeGeGe no Kitaro'! He's such a memorable character—tiny, mischievous, and always floating around with that cheeky grin. The series itself is a classic, blending folklore with modern storytelling, and Billy adds a playful touch amid the darker themes. I love how he balances Kitaro's seriousness with his antics, like when he pranks humans or gets into trouble with other yokai. His design is iconic too—that little yukata and the way he materializes out of nowhere. If you haven't watched it yet, it's a must for fans of supernatural anime!
Funny enough, Billy's voice actor changes across adaptations, but the character’s charm stays consistent. Whether he’s helping Kitaro or just goofing off, he’s a big part of why the series feels so lively. Plus, his dynamic with other characters, like Nezumi Otoko, cracks me up every time. Definitely dive into 'GeGeGe no Kitaro' if you want a mix of spooky and heartwarming moments.
