Alolan Vulpix is such a charming little frost fox, but man, that Ice typing gives it some brutal vulnerabilities. Being pure Ice means it gets wrecked by Fire, Rock, Steel, and Fighting moves—basically all the common physical attackers in competitive play. I learned this the hard way when my Vulpix got one-shot by a Scizor's Bullet Punch in an online match.
What's funny is that despite its snowy aesthetic, it doesn't even resist Ice itself due to lacking secondary typings like Water or Grass. The best workaround I've found is pairing it with Aurora Veil support to buy time, but even then, switching into anything faster than a Machop feels risky. Still adore its design though—worth the team-building headaches.
From a casual battler's perspective, Alolan Vulpix's weaknesses are kinda predictable if you think about type matchups. Fire melts ice, rocks smash ice, and steel... well, let's just say Magnemite ruins its day. I once tried using it against my friend's Arcanine, and let's not talk about how that ended. Its only saving grace is that it evolves into Ninetales, which at least gets Snow Warning to control the battlefield. But yeah, keep it far away from anything holding a Black Belt or Iron Head.
If we're talking lore, Alolan Vulpix's weaknesses make sense—it's literally adapted to snowy mountains, so of course it'd struggle against industrial Steel types or volcanic Fire attacks. Gameplay-wise, this translates to needing serious team support. I always pair mine with a Water-type to cover Fire threats, but Rock Slide users still give me PTSD. Fun fact: Its shiny form looks like pink cotton candy, which somehow makes losing to Stealth Rocks slightly less painful.
Competitively speaking, Alolan Vulpix's defensive profile is a nightmare. That mono-Ice typing leaves it weak to four types, and its stats aren't bulky enough to compensate. I ran calcs once—even neutral hits from Pokémon like Lucario or Cinderace can OHKO it unless you invest fully in HP. Its niche lies in being a cute screens setter before evolving, but you'd better have a solid pivot plan. Meta staples like Tyranitar or Heatran? Instant death sentences. Still, watching it summon hail with Snow Cloak activated is pure serotonin.

Alpha Hunter (ONGOING)
Violet was a weak Omega who married Leo Easton, the head Alpha of her pack. She thought her marriage was the beginning of her new life, but she soon realized that her husband did not love her. Despite her deep emotional suffering, she kept trying to be an ideal wife.
One day, her life became colorless, and she lost all hope.
Then she encountered her husband's main rival, Daniel Collins.
Daniel was the head Alpha of the Scarlet Howl Pack. He was a stunningly attractive but dangerous man. No woman could resist his alluring charm. He was too strong and intimidating to be messed with. Fighting him was so terrifying that no one, including Leo, even considered doing it.
The journey of Violet's life would not be easy. Daniel would make things worse for her.
What would their relationship be like?
Lucian, a powerful, handsome, Alpha wolf has a reputation amongst werewolves and other mythical creatures as well as the humans to be ruthless and cold and true to this, he is. There is no one as ruthless as the king of werewolves and ruler of the kingdom of Werekult. Killing comes easily to him, just as easy as breathing comes to a regular person.
Everyone fears Lucian because he gives no second chances and has no time to show mercy. He listens to no one, fears no one and definitely doesn't care for anyone.
Lucian isn't particularly fond of humans, in fact he has killed many and wouldn't hesitate to kill more if need be however everything would change when Lucian would be betrayed by his most trusted general, Damon who wanted the throne of Werekult. Damon would stab Lucian on their journey with a potent blade that is powerful enough to kill even an alpha wolf.
The blade was given to Damon by the Blood Father and leader of the vampire, Lord Kolden and Lucian would have not survived the stab if not for the girl, a pretty human girl by the name Anna. She is actually the daughter of king Stefan of the kingdom of Greelania and she happened to be in the woods when Lucian was stabbed. Saving him from the clutches of death.
However Lucian would repay her good needs by kidnapping her and making her his slave or so it seemed. He just wanted her close to him.
Valerie is a very miserable orphan girl. One day she experiences a terrible incident when a group of people want to rape her. That was when she met Daren, who was the Alpha of the Black Moon pack. Daren saves Valerie in the form of a wolf. The incident made the town crazy because people saw wolves wandering the streets.
Daren takes Valerie to be treated in her village, which is mostly inhabited by wolves. Valerie also saw another world she had never seen before.
When they both become mates, Valerie's hidden powers appear because she is a girl with mixed werewolf DNA. They go through a battle with a vampire, a newcomer who tries to eradicate the existence of wolves in the city so that they can hunt humans without worrying about the presence of the wolves, their biggest enemy.
What will happen to Valerie?
Luna is a fierce vaewolf hybrid from the Alpha Family. They think that if she will be mated to another powerful immortal, they will dominate the omega and beta families in the underground world. Luna agreed to be mated to another immortal in one condition. He should be stronger than her or as strong as she is. Many tried to be her mate, yet no one could beat her. Until Lucien showed on the battleground, the immortal who owns her heart. But there is a rule, once the two immortal enter the battleground, only the strongest shall remain alive and the other should die. Unless both of them possessed the same strength and power. Luna felt fear. She’s afraid that the pure-blooded vampire she loves will turn into ashes with her own hands. She knows that a vaewolf hybrid like her can only love once in her entire life.
Will she sacrifice her happiness for the sake of the Alpha Family even if it means killing him, or she will break the rule of the underground world and run away with him?
Jynx has always stood out to me as this quirky, elegant Psychic/Ice-type with a ton of personality, but man, does it have some glaring weaknesses. Its typing makes it a sitting duck against Steel, Rock, Fire, Bug, Ghost, and Dark moves. Fire-types like Arcanine or Blaziken can melt it in seconds, and Dark-types like Tyranitar or Weavile just shred through its defenses. What’s wild is how fragile it is physically—its Defense stat is paper-thin, so any strong physical attack, especially from those types, will knock it out before it can even land a 'Lovely Kiss.'
I remember using Jynx in a casual match once, and my opponent’s Scizor just Bullet Punched it into oblivion before I could blink. It’s a shame because Jynx’s Special Attack is legit, and it has awesome moves like Psychic and Ice Beam. But unless you’re running heavy team support—maybe screens or a fast Baton Passer—it’s hard to keep her alive long enough to shine. Still, there’s something charming about how unabashedly glass cannon she is.
Man, figuring out how to evolve Alolan Vulpix in 'Pokémon Sun and Moon' was such a fun little puzzle when I first played! Unlike regular Vulpix, which evolves with a Fire Stone, the Alolan variant needs an Ice Stone—a nice twist that fits its icy redesign. You can find Ice Stones in Po Town or by digging with Tauros in Poni Wilds, but I had the best luck with the Po Town one. Just give it to your Vulpix, and boom—beautiful Alolan Ninetales!
What I love about this is how it reflects the regional variant theme. Alolan Vulpix isn’t just a palette swap; its evolution method ties into its new Ice typing. Plus, Ninetales’ design is gorgeous, with that ethereal icy fluff. I spent way too long admiring mine in Amie after evolving it. Worth every second of searching for that stone!
Espeon's one of my favorite Psychic-types in Pokémon, but man, it's got some glaring weaknesses that can really mess up its day in battles. The biggest one? Dark-types. Moves like 'Knock Off' or 'Sucker Punch' from Pokémon like Umbreon or Bisharp can absolutely wreck Espeon, since it doesn't resist Dark and its Defense isn't the greatest. Bug-types are another pain—scary stuff like Scizor's 'U-turn' can chunk it hard, especially if Espeon's not running enough bulk. Ghost-types also hit it neutrally, and since Espeon's usually a special attacker, physical Ghost moves like 'Shadow Claw' from Gengar can sting.
Another thing to watch out for is its reliance on Psychic-type moves. If the opponent brings in a Steel-type like Metagross or Jirachi, Espeon's 'Psychic' or 'Psyshock' just bounces off. It doesn't help that Espeon's movepool is kinda limited outside of Psychic and maybe 'Shadow Ball'—so if the opponent's got resistances covered, it can feel like hitting a wall. And don't even get me started on priority moves! 'Bullet Punch' from Lucario or 'Sucker Punch' from Absol can catch it off guard before it gets a chance to sweep. Still, with the right support (like screens or a slow pivot), Espeon can be a monster. Just gotta play around those weaknesses.
