Walking the rusted corridors of Rapture, the Big Daddy hits like a living wrecking ball — and its weaponry is brutally simple and effective. I’d describe them as built to smash first and ask questions never: the classic Bouncer model carries that gargantuan drill as a primary armament. It’s not a cosmetic bit of metal; it charges, spins, and turns flesh into confetti in seconds. The drill gives them incredible close-range lethality and a terrifying charge attack that can pin you against scenery or stagger you into oblivion.
Beyond the drill, many Big Daddies—often called Rosies in fan circles—use rivet guns or heavy rivet-launching armatures for mid-range combat. These rivet guns fire solid projectiles or explosive rivets that punish anyone who tries to pick them off from a distance. There are also heavier variants that sport launcher-style ordnance or heavier caliber rivet pieces; they’ll punch through cover and make dodging essential. Don’t forget their melee: their sheer mass, stomps, and grab attacks are weapons in their own right, and sometimes they’ll use the environment as a weapon, tossing debris or smashing through doors.
Tactically, that mix of a brutal melee tool plus a ranged rivet device defines how you fight them: respect the drill’s charge, avoid getting boxed in, and don’t assume distance makes you safe. I still get a chill at the sound of that drill whirring — it’s such a perfect, terrifying design choice in 'BioShock'.
I get hyped talking about this because the Big Daddy is equal parts iconic and straightforward. Up close, it’s all about the drill. That massive drill-arm on Bouncers is basically a one-way ticket to being pummeled — it can shove, spin, and do a lunging charge that eats health bars. If you ever hear the grinding whine, you sprint the other way. Mid-range, the Big Daddy switches to projectile tools: think rivet guns or rivet-launching contraptions that pepper you from a distance. Those rivets can be devastating, especially when they come in bursts or with explosive variants on tougher models.
There are also stronger variants that pack heavier ordinance — some types mimic grenade or rocket attacks, while others rely on heavier, armor-piercing rivets. And remember, the Big Daddy’s body is part of the weapon: a stomp, a shoulder-barge, even slamming you into the floor can ruin your evening. In 'BioShock 2' the dynamic shifts a little when you play as a Big Daddy, but as enemies they stick to the same brutal toolkit: drill, rivet gun, and raw physical force. For me, the cocktail of slow dread and sudden violence is why they’re still unforgettable.
Short and visceral: Big Daddies are built to kill with blunt, industrial tools rather than flashy tech. Their signature weapons are the massive drill for close combat and various rivet guns or rivet-launching arms for medium-to-long range. Different models focus on one or the other — Bouncers charge and drill you to pieces, while Rosies will keep firing rivets to suppress or pick you off. Some heavier variants carry explosive rivets or heavier launchers, and their weighty melee attacks (stomps, throws, body slams) act like additional weapons.
They don’t use plasmids themselves; instead, they rely on armor, raw mass, and those industrial weapons to dominate fights. Facing one means controlling distance, using crowd-control plasmids or explosives to stagger them, and never underestimating the drill’s reach. I still get nervous hearing that distant whirr — perfect nightmare fuel for a submerged city.

spread those legs for daddy
I was supposed to call him Daddy out of respect.
Now I scream it while he uses me like his personal fuck toy.
After my mother’s sudden death, my wealthy, devastatingly handsome stepfather Alexander Voss took me in. What began as care quickly turned filthy the night he caught me with a toy and claimed every hole as his own.
“You’re Daddy’s sex toy now, babygirl,” he growled, choking me as he fucked me raw. “Every hole belongs to me.”
Twice my age and dangerously possessive, he keeps me collared, trains me with vibrating plugs in public, and fucks me on his desk during business calls. I know it’s wrong. I know I should run. But his degradation, praise, and cum have become my addiction.

Will I become his forever breeding toy?

Nothing feels as satisfying as taking down a hulking Big Daddy with the right setup — it’s like solving a brutal little puzzle. I usually start by calling out which type I’m facing: Bouncers with the drill hug you close and punish melee, while Rosies (the rivet-gun ones) shred you at medium range. For either, my go-to opener is 'Electro Bolt' to short their armored plating and stop their charge or stagger their aim. That little stagger buys me time to throw in explosives or switch to heavy fire.
After a stun, I love switching to a shotgun or the rivet gun on alt-fire for concentrated bursts to the faceplate, then finish with a grenade launcher if they’re still stubborn. If the arena has oil leaks or flammable barrels, I set traps with 'Incinerate!' and lead them through the explosion; if there’s water, toss a few bolts into it to get an electric chain reaction. Always keep EVE for another stun, and don’t forget to hack nearby turrets — a turned turret will absolutely swing a duel in your favor. That combo of stagger, heavy hits, explosives, and environmental nastiness is my favorite way to bring them down — feels cinematic every time.
