I called in a breath.
Hands held in hers, we made our way out the front yard, away from Jan and the guards, and back into the motel quarters.
The warmth was what struck us upon entry into the room. That warmth which had Nia sighing, and going into the dressing to pull off her clothes.
Meanwhile I had crashed onto the bed, eyes fixed on the ceilings, while her voice fell into my ears.
“Isn’t it wonderful, how talented the kids are?” She called from the inner room.
