LOGINChapter 5
Arthur’s POV Grabbing my car key and jacket to head out and take care of the vampires, I find Tori standing at the door, her hands folds under her chest like she’s ready to go with me. How did she even know I was going out? And how fast did she get here? “Tori, I don’t need babysitting. I can take care of this. Just go back to bed and rest, do anything other than follow me.” I tell Tori, trying to convince her not to follow me. I’m an independent alpha for fuck sake, not a mummy’s boy. “I’m going with you and that’s it, end of discussion.” She says back to me. I turn to Adrian, he adjusts the collar of his jacket, meaning he’s with her. This is absurd. “Fuck it.” I grumble, walk out of the house without waiting for anyone. We get to the scene to see my pack hunters have tied up the vampires. Their fangs and claws are out, in case the vampires want to try anything stupid. I disgustingly spit on the floor, right infront of one of the vampires. He grouch at me and a hunter slash the vampire’s face with his claws. I chuckle, knowing that will really painful. “You have some nerve to try and escape after what I did to your brothers.” They don’t say anything back at me, but they are boiling with anger, their faces purple with rage. “Should they be taken to the barn or to the dungeon?” Oliver ask me, as I’m still looking around to see if there’s anything else that is suspicious. “Nonsense. They are not worthy for the barn. Pathetic creatures. Take them to the dungeon.” They are taken straight to the dungeon, and we are right behind them. Tori is still with me, following me about like I’m going to make a mistake. I won’t hold back because of her presence. She asked to be here. I will also prove my point to her and Adrian, who seems not understand that I don’t need him here. Oliver had the vampires tied up, leaving them hanging with their hands. “Who sent you?” I throw the question that the one who seems to be their leader. He spits back on my foot. “Go fuck yourself.” Ohh, he shouldn’t have done that. “Oliver, tell this blood lusting bastard, I don’t enjoy repeating myself twice.” Oliver approach him with a tight, hard punch on his face. Good. “Now, who the fuck sent you to invade my territory?” I bend down to look him straight into his eyes, radiating hostility from my body. “I’m not scared of you dogs, go ahead and do what you were made to do.” He insultingly talks back. Without hesitating I slice his head off his neck. Blood pumping out of his neck like it’s raining blood. I love the sight of it. I take a handkerchief from Oliver to clean the vampire’s disgusting blood off my hand and face. I stare at the alive ones who seem to be frightened, but not moved. “My wolf is very eager for me to let him out. But for the sake of mercy, I wouldn’t.” One of the vampire burst into laughter and my wolf becomes icily angry. “Cut off his head, hang it for everyone of his bastard kind to see it as a warning.” My wolf anxiously says but I push him back. It won’t be good if I let him out. The vampire comes down from his drunken laughter. “You actually think we are scared of you or death. We are not. You better just kill us now. If I get out of these chains, your head will be in my hands staring at your body.” The vampire growls, he threatens me. Big mistake. “Is that a threat?” I ask him with a wicked smile on my face. “It’s more than a threat. We have been silent for far too long. The more you kill us, the more we come to kill your kind. You don’t deserve the mercy of breathing.” The vampire threatens again. Gritting my teeth together, I try to stay as calm as possible. They really have the boldness and courage to not be scared of dying. What is really going on? Why are they willing to sacrifice themselves to see us, werewolves, all dead? In the first war that vampires were almost extinct, they started the war and we couldn’t stand down, we had to fight back. “Arthur, use your alpha siren and get the answer out of them.” Tori suggests. I huff. Once again, she’s questioning my actions and authority. I don’t need to use my alpha siren on them. “My alpha siren is too useful to be used on these forbidden creatures. I have better use for it.” I turn to Oliver, he’s always ready to take my command and act. “What are you waiting for? Make their wish come true.” Oliver takes out his dagger and slice both vampires on their arms. They both look surprise at the little cut and laugh at it. “A minor cut won’t get us to talk.” They say in derision. “I’m done hearing your displeasing voices. And that’s to kill you, but very slow and painfully. It’s a poisonous dagger, you wouldn’t even heal. You will feel nothing but death running inside your veins.” Their eyes open widely, carving out fear on their faces. I have been craving for that look on their ugly faces. They know they are in for it. “Kill us already.” One shouts at me, I smirk at him, enjoying his display of useless courage. “Killing you is mercy. Your kind don’t deserve mercy. The slowest, most dreadful pain, that would drive you to death in slow pace, is what you deserve.” I turn my back on them and walk out of the dungeon. Hearing their ear piercing screams of pain makes my heart beam with joy. Yet again, Tori’s question comes to my head. What is their reason for attacking werewolves and why now?Chapter 10 Arthur’s POV I’m so eager to go to school. I wake up early and dress up nicely. I wear my favorite cologne and head downstairs early. Even Oliver is surprise at my suspicious urge to gain more knowledge in school. That’s the reason I told him. I go to class at my usual time and anxiously wait for Justin to come and sit infront of me. I made Oliver not to come to class and sit with me. I didn’t want him to see how close Justin and I are. Justin and I only had one conversation, and I’m saying we are close. What’s gotten into me? Justin walks into the class, and sits somewhere else. She just go straight and sit, except where the bully girl and I, are sitting at. Why? “What did you do?!” My wolf angrily ask me. I didn’t do anything. That last conversation we had yesterday, went very well. I even wrote my name in the list she is making for the photography club. Maybe I said something wrong. But I didn’t. She was quite okay with our last conversatio
Chapter 9 Arthur’s POV “You think I’m handsome?” I ask Justin, acting surprise. I am surprised. It’s our first conversation and she tells me I’m handsome. The nerves. She chuckles and reply me. “Oh, don’t flatter yourself. I’m just stating the obvious. It’s not a compliment. Don’t let it get to your head.” “I will take it as it is.” I tell her. But, too late Justin, it’s deep down in my head. I can’t stop looking at her. Even though she’s in front of me, her dark, silky hair is remarkably long and good to look at. Unlike some. I get even more surprise as Justin turns her side to look at me. She’s comfortable. Too comfortable. She’s now closer that I can perceive her sweet scent. She stares at me, with her extraordinary green color eyes, for a moment. It’s getting really awkward. I see her astonishing, classy face. “So, what subject are you good at?” She asks me after observing me. I respond and shrug. “All?” She hiss. “Show off.” I chuckle.
Chapter 8 Arthur’s POV Walking down the hall of school, it feels like I’m missing something. Maybe I haven’t done something or I have forgotten to do something. I cannot even place what is making me unsettled because, Oliver, wouldn’t shut up about how much he hates school. “You have me coming in here, sitting in this fucking boring classes. I don’t need this shit.” Oliver complains. “I mean, why should I come to school when I know everything I need to know to survive?” He says again. I don’t pay attention to whatever he’s saying because my mind is still filled with an uncertainty. “You need to know more things about humans.” I tell him. “Like what? Other than their tasty, delicious food, I see no use for them and i fancy nothing about their improved development. They are selfish, envious brute. Even to their kind.” Oliver justifies his point. “Okay, you’ve made you point.” He’s like Tori. You can’t win an argument with them. We almost enter a class, Oliv
Chapter 7 Tori’s POV Trying not to panic as I hear Arthur’s question about a human mate. If it is eventually true, it will not be good. It can’t be right. This can’t happen to Arthur too. I was unfortunate enough to be mated to a monstrous alpha. The moon goddess can’t let this happen again. Especially to Arthur. “It’s not your fault that you were mated to him. It’s not your fault.” All my life, I had been using these words to comfort and encourage myself. Till I left this pack. I compose myself and tried to keep my heart rate in a slow pace, as I continue our discussion. “This human girl, are you attracted to her?” I asked trying to seem as though I didn’t get his question. Arthur keeps a calm face and shrugs. He doesn’t like it when I keep asking him questions in any of our discussion. He just wants a straight answer. “She’s quite the beauty of course. I do find her to be attractive, and my wolf gets stirred up whenever he sees her.” Arthur sighs l
Chapter 6 Arthur’s POV We just got home, except for Oliver. He insisted on staying back to make sure those bastards are dead. I go straight to my room because I can’t stop thinking about the vampire and their attacks on werewolves. I just don’t understand. What is really going on with the vampires and their sudden urge for revenge. Tori walks in with a bowl of water and towel. She knees infront of me, takes my hands and starts to clean the blood on it. “You don’t have to do this Tori, I’m fine. The blood isn’t even mine. I’m not hurt.” I complain, but she ignores me. I can see how shaky her hands are. She’s terrified. I did what had to be done. “I’m sorry.” Tori apologize. Here we go again with the fellow feelings. Tori blames herself for my behavior. She thinks I will be as brutal as how my father was, when I become an alpha. “I’m sorry I left you here at such a young age. No child deserves to be deprived of his mother’s love. You don’t deserve it.”
