"Ronan, come back inside."

My father’s voice echoed down the hallway just as I turned the corner away from the clinic. I stopped, I hadn't even reached my quarters yet, and he was already calling me back.

I sighed, turning around, and walked back into the grand council hall. The room was empty now, the long table completely clear, but my father was still standing by the tall windows.
