As an Omega, I am the weakest person in this Moonlight Academy. Hated by my family and despised by my own sister, I tried to survive as a ghost inside the academy with the goal of safely graduating and running away from my pack, but then in a moment of chance I healed the strongest Lycan in the academy. Lycan Lucian Kingsley is the desire of every girl in the academy, but the one I hate the most, is also my sister's fiance who always looks down on me like trash. After accidentally saving Lucian's life, I was lucky enough to hide my healing ability, but Lucian asked me to become his toy, just because my scent made Lucian feel comfortable. However, everything did not stop at me being bitten and licked by Lucian on my neck to inhale the scent, but it became even more stimulating and hotter...

Chapter 1: The Weakest Omega at Moonlight Academy

Chapter 1: The Weakest Omega at Moonlight Academy

"Huff, huff!"

My breathing was completely thrown off, my steps no longer had any direction, I could only run frantically forward.

Where am I supposed to go now?

Why is it only me who has to run? Why is it always me...?

I gritted my teeth, a feeling of resentment rising all the way up to my throat. From the moment I was born until now, I have always been running. There was never any choice for me, and I never had the right to choose.

The moonlight shone through the treetops above and cast down onto the ground, that beautiful, dazzling light was the thing I hated the most.

That faint glow gradually became obscured by the towering trees as I ventured deeper into the forest.

I tried to run like an arrow that had been loosed, the leaves scraping against my face with a burning sting and the uneven gravel road digging into the soles of my feet, also painful. But those physical pains were nothing compared to the fear taking hold of my soul at this moment.

Instinct is a fearsome thing, and power can govern a person.

For wolves, instinct is what allows them to survive in the pack and the wild. Those instincts that had never once surfaced in my entire life were now urging me to flee.

How ridiculous!

"Run, or you'll die!"

My life has always been like this, I have no choice when faced with dangerous situations like this. I have lived quietly as a failure for years and have never been able to change my circumstances.

It's not that I don't want to change, it's that I can't. Reality is far more brutal than beautiful dreams. A small and insignificant existence can never become noble and radiant.

No fairy tale will ever happen; the weak can only remain forever at the lowest rung.

That is reality, and I am proof of it.

I paused to catch my breath, feeling like my heart was about to leap out of my chest. My head was spinning, so I hurriedly reached out a hand to lean against a tree trunk, clutching my aching chest while asking myself.

"Have I... run far enough?"

I looked up at the towering trees. I had never dared to set foot deep inside this forest; to me, this place was too dangerous. But at this moment, ironically, that dangerous place had become the last refuge of my life.

If I went a little deeper, maybe no one would ever find me.

Just as I felt a brief flicker of relief thinking I was safe, a sound from right behind me sent a chill down my spine.

A figure swept past right above my head, knocking me backward. A wolf's paw pinned me to the ground, wild golden eyes staring straight at me, a brutal breath enveloping my entire body.

"Oh, it's you, huh? The useless Omega, Julia Taylor?"

I trembled so much my whole body felt frozen solid, unable to utter a single word.

I had clearly wiped away every trace... and yet, sure enough, you can't defeat a powerful Lycan with just a bit of weak resistance.

Am I going to die at his hands today?

When did everything start going wrong? Things were already bad from the moment I was born, I suppose...

A few days earlier, at Moonlight Academy.

I reached out and turned the bathroom door handle, realizing it was jammed from the outside.

"That trick again?"

I thought to myself and let go of the handle. Laughter from a few girls rang out from the other side of the door.

"Hey, you weak Omega, this isn't a place you can just come and go as you please! Are you trying to disgrace the whole academy with your presence?"

"Oh my, you're being too harsh! What if the weakling who can't even call out her inner wolf hears you and gets hurt?"

Their laughter rang out with great satisfaction. I didn't understand why they enjoyed using other people's pain and flaws as entertainment.

The taunts and mockery had become so familiar they were dull, and I no longer had the energy to fight back or care. Because the outcome would always be the same; struggling only made things worse.

"Boom!"The loud banging on the door startled me, and I instinctively stepped back.

"Hey, you bitch! I know you can hear us, so don't pretend you can't. Get the hell out of here before we tear you apart! This place isn't for you, stop humiliating the proud wolves!"

Then a bucket of ice-cold water was dumped over my head, accompanied by gleeful laughter. I was soaked through and reeked of filth.

I frowned and let out a faint, mocking smile.

"How pathetic..."

I waited in silence, listening until their footsteps had faded far enough and the space outside had gone quiet before daring to move.

I struggled to stand on the toilet, then climbed over the partition to escape, only to stumble and fall flat onto the dirty bathroom floor in a clumsy heap.

Truly pathetic beyond words.

I painfully forced myself to sit up, and in front of me were a pair of female student shoes.

What the hell...?!

They still haven't left? Even though I tried to avoid it, I still have to take a beating in the end?

I instinctively curled up, hugging my head tightly with both hands to protect myself.

Fine, just hit me!

End everything however you want, since no one has ever listened to me anyway…
