Kimberly Pov
For three years, I lived as the hidden wife of the most powerful Alpha in the world.
Until the day the news broke.
*Alpha Vaelor Knight will be marrying his childhood sweetheart, Clara Dalton*
I clutched the phone tight in my hand as I read the trending news headline.
The news struck me like a slap across the face upon finding out my husband will be getting married soon.
The comments on the post show clearly that I never existed in his world. To the world, my husband is getting married for the first time while I've been his secret wife for three years.
*Finally the two lovers are together*
*I knew love will always win*
The comments kept coming, praising Clara and Vaelor on their engagement.
I couldn't concentrate in class anymore, so I took an excuse from the lecturer and stormed out before the tears would spill.
I ran into the bathroom. I didn't hold my tears; I let them pour freely as I remembered all I've sacrificed for my husband.
For three years, I've been a devoted Luna. His secret wife. And had sacrificed half of my life for him.
When the pack was in danger, I stood by him.
When he was sick, and all his family rejected him, I didn't leave him alone.
I drove to the court with my divorce papers clutched in my hands. This should be my third time coming here this week.
Three years. Three years as Kimberly Knight, wife to Vaelor Knight, the Alpha of the most powerful pack in the world.
It's like a void memory fading away.
My parents died when I was fifteen; my father was the beta of his father when he was an Alpha. After the death of my family, his father took me in and treated me like his daughter.
Vaelor is everything dangerous I shouldn't crave. Ruthless. Distant and cold. He never looks in my direction. At a young age, he took over his father's position as the Alpha, and on my 18th birthday, we found out we were fated mates.
I thought Vaelor was going to reject me, so I kept my distance until one night when he came back home drunk and covered with blood.
I helped him treat his wound. I could still feel the touch of his finger brushed against my thighs that night.
I should have pushed him away, but I pulled him in.
He's my fated mate; the bond was strong, so three weeks later, Vaelor and I got married.
It was a contract marriage to protect his legacy, a certificate to protect me, so he said, and our marriage was kept private.
But we did everything couples do, including bed things. I thought Vaelor loved me until Clara appeared. His late night doubled.
Clara, the Alpha daughter of Moonshine pack, a long-time alliance to the pack and also a business partner of the Knights company, showed up after her divorce with her husband. She has constantly been available in Vaelor's life, in his car, in his business, and in his space.
It ends today.
“I'm here to file for a divorce,” I told the lawyer who had his head buried in paperwork.
He checked the papers, and when his eyes settled on the name and age, he finally looked up at me.
“Young lady, divorce is not something you can easily just do. Where is your husband?”
I knew he must be surprised because a girl of my age shouldn't be married but going about planning her life and future.
Instead, I was planning the future with my husband.
“Just stamp it, I will get my husband to sign his signature.” My voice was calm, concealing all the anger inside of me.

The pack house was quiet when I got back home. The guards didn't pay me any attention as I passed. Just another piece of furniture in Vaelor’s collection.
The moment I stepped in, I walked straight to Vaelor's study. The door was slightly ajar, and I heard laughter from inside.
The choking scent of perfume was the first thing that hit me, and I doubted whether my husband was in there.
Vaelor has always hated the smell of strong perfume, so I usually go for something subtle with a light, flowery scent or even days without it. But she must be someone special to have him settle for the smell.
I pushed the door open.
My husband, Vaelor Knight, was relaxing on his chair with a wide smile on his face, and beside him was Clara Dalton, his childhood sweetheart, who had come back to the pack a year ago after her divorce.
She was helping him to fix his tie when I walked in. They had snacks and drinks before them.
They must be celebrating their wedding announcement.
The smile on Vaelor’s face disappeared the moment he saw me.
“Oh, Kimberly, you're here,” Clara said, her perfect red lips forming a smile. “You must have seen the wedding announcement.”
“Yes, I did.” I simply say, my face is void of any emotions.
“Kimberly—"
Vaelor tried to speak, but I cut him off.
“Please sign this document.”
I stepped forward, sliding the divorce papers across the polished Mahogany desk, the sound of the paper rustling unnaturally loud in the silent room.
“What is this?” Vaelor asked, wearing his glasses.
“The University needs your signature for my project approval.” I quickly flipped it to the last page of the signature.
“They needed your signature for insurance since you're the only family I have.”
Silence follows as the lies settle between us. I've been practicing this after I left the court, and I hope I sound convincing enough.
My parents had died years ago in a suspicious fire outbreak, so he knew I was alone. I've used his signature for most of my documents.
“Let me see what paper it is—”
My body froze, and it took everything in me to still have my knees holding me because I felt them go weak out of fear. Vaelor never asked questions with all the university documents I've brought to him. He'd just sign it with one glance.
So why now?
Why today?
“Oh, Vaelor, don't be so uptight. It's just a signature. Don't waste time on this; we still have many documents to review and sign at your office.”
Clara rested her arms on his shoulder, smiling.
As the daughter of the Alpha of Moonshine pack, a pack that shares boundaries and a significant relationship with the Crescent pack, Clara has always been close to Vaelor. Attending pack meetings with him, galas, and even business conferences. Anywhere Vaelor is, Clara is always by his side. Her dress complemented his suits as if they were tailored made from heaven since her return to the pack a year ago.
Vaelor hesitated for a while but signed the document like signing a business deal.
I quickly take the document away before he sees the petition for DIVORCE boldly written at the top.
“I don't think she'd ever grow up with the way you treat her like a kid sister,” Clara said, but Vaelor didn't reply.
Without saying anything else, I hurried out of the room before they noticed my shaking hands.
The door shut behind me.
Finally, it's over.
I'm free.
I took in a steady breath, clutching the paper over my chest as I walked through the Knight's mansion, heading to my room.
Every step I took, every hallway I turned, reminded me of Vaelor. The good old days with him.
Kimberly's povI clocked out of work expecting an uneventful night, my kids were already fast asleep they usually were by the time I got back. Sometimes they would try to stay awake for me, but that would just lead to them falling asleep in the living room and Martha and I taking them up to their rooms. The maid was still coming but I will have to let her go soon because Martha's hand is quickly recovering and soon we will be able to take off the cast. When I arrived home this time, the kids were already up in their room, so far Vaelor had been able to restore 30% of what had been taken away from the house. He couldn't just bring back the old things because they had already been transported over to the Red zone, and it wouldn't be wise to return them back to the Green zone so they had to remain there and we needed replacements. "I want to pay for some of it," I had told him mostly out of courtesy and he understood this, insisting that he wanted to pay for everything because it was
He's going to receive a message to leave her.He will tell Ella he's going to marry her. He'll tell his beta to track Reynold.Ace Pov “Mother.” I ran towards her and stopped her from throwing more things at Ella who stood and was crying.“Take this thing out of here. She's the reason my Carolina is gone.” Mother tried to attack her but I held her between my grip.“Mother, calm down.” I turned her so she's facing me.“You caused it. You chased my daughter in-law away.” Mother started hitting me on my chest with her fist. I didn't stop her. I let her hit me as much as she wants because I deserve even worse.I let her hit me as much as she wants because I deserve it.I deserve every punishment for the sake of Carolina.“Take Ella to the guest room.” I said to the servants as I took mother away when she insisted that Ella won't continue to stay in that room.It was the room that Carolina occupied before.Ella had moved her things away and packed in the moment she heard Carolina left.I
Kimberley’s POV“Kimberly, are those children mine?”It was as though all the air inside of my lungs had been sucked out with a vacuum, but I stilled the reactions on my face so it would not betray the truth to him."Why are you bringing this up again? We have already discussed this. It was a short relationship that didn’t go anywhere—nothing to do with you," I said, stepping closer and trying to seem confident. "I don’t care if this is mind-blowing to you, but you’re not the only man in my life. What did you think was going to happen? That I’d spend the last five years with a lock between my legs expecting some kind of reunion with you?"The stifling silence that followed told me that there was some honesty in my words, and I spat out a laugh. "Sorry, Alpha Vaelor. I hate to disappoint you, but that’s not what happened. The children are anything but yours."He seemed unable to meet my eyes. Then, in a frustrated tone, he said, "But one of them has my eyes. One of the girls, she..."H
Kimberly's POV I was only by myself for a few minutes before Vaelor came in.In my entire life I had not seen somebody so relieved to see me before. Before I could say anything or even ask him any questions at all, he had come over to me and then he pulled me into his embrace, instantly, I felt like I was melting against him but I had to build up some muscles immediately to make sure that I did not start purring in his arms. By the time I had collected myself, he finally pulled away but not completely. Slowly, his hand slid over mine and he took a look at it before returning to his side. There was already a chair propped next to his bed telling me that he had come here often to check up on me and that warmed up something inside of me that I was trying so hard to keep cold and frozen.“I know you're probably curious to know what happened, maybe you should rest a little bit more…I'm going to call a servant to get you some food to eat, I don't think you've eaten anything. You seem to ha
Kimberly's POV What I thought would just be a minor disagreement between my kids was gradually turning into something more, Vaelor left after a few more hours and Rosalie had mostly remained by his side during that time. When it was time for supper she said that she didn't want to sit on the same table with her brother, I told her that it wasn't right and both of them needed to share the table together because they were family. At first I was still taking it a bit slightly because my triplets hardly ever argued with each other and even if they did as children they quickly forgot about it and were back to playing again. But I had not realized just how much the experiences had begun to age and mature them, more than how they should be at 5 going to 6. Rosalie had refused to touch her food even if it was her favorite spaghetti and meatballs, when I probed her to know if there was anything I could do she said no. “Nate was mean…Nate has to say sorry!”Nate refused to apologize, and I
Kimberly’s pov “Who wants lemonade?" Martha said and the children squealed happily.Once life gets so hectic it's good to find joy in the little moments, if I have learned anything from the roller coaster of events that is in my life I usually have to steal this moments and crushed them close to my chest because before long something comes riding out of the horizon, and I'll have to tackle it all over again before another brief interval of peace. Today was one of such days, I had clocked out extra early, that is by 12:00 noon. Truthfully I had been mentioning to Vaelor that the whole process of refilling the house of the things that Clara had transported over to the red zone took a long time, it was just a casual comment and I did not really expect anything to come out of it. But that was until he told me that I should clock out early and we will take care of it today. Everything had already been delivered in boxes and those that hadn't worn in the truck outside, I didn't have to l
Kimberly's POVI clutched hard to the seat belt that I was holding, just in case the speed of the car knocked me right through the windscreen. But I couldn't blame the man beside me who was now driving the car I was inside; his daughter's life was at stake, and he was pouring all of his strength in
Chapter 38: Kimberley’s POV“Kimberly, are those children mine?”It was as though all the air inside of my lungs had been sucked out with a vacuum, but I stilled the reactions on my face so it would not betray the truth to him."Why are you bringing this up again? We have already discussed this. It
Vaelor’s POV Before I could answer the question, the little girl's fingers reached for mine. It took the entirety of all of her fingers to wrap around one of mine, and yet she towed me like I was made of air into the living room. "Lily! Nate!" she called out at the top of her voice. "Daddy’s here
"Where's Doctor Dove?" I asked the question as I spun my head from side to side, searching for Kimberly. She didn't fall within my line of vision. Frustrated, I collapsed the distance and brought the question more directly to the Head Doctor. "Where is she, Head Doctor Fang?" Fang's shoulders wer
