"Stay still." Is the response he offers.
I am tempted to shout at him or even fight, but after feeling the cold barrel of that gun against my temple, my anger has shimmered down. Left with no choice but to let do as he pleases, I relax into his broad shoulder.
The cold night air hits me once we are outside, sending my hair dropping like a waterfall. The urge to get down his shoulders and look around the house is strong.
Thankfully, the car isn't too far from the house. My back meets the leather seat with a soft plop. I glare at him as he slips in beside me.
"Go." With one word, the car roars ti life. I spin around, bright eyes looking through the mirror at the large landmass I will be leaving behind.
After taking in my fill through the dark, I relax into my sit, only to freeze when I feel cold eyes on me. My hand fists my t-shirt between my fingers. "W-What are you looking at?"
Caught red handed, Adrrik snatches his gaze from me, a cute pucker between his brow. I must really be crazy.
Since when has this man before me been cute?
It takes me a while to get my thoughts back together, when I do, the question bubbling inside me finally leaves my lips. "Where are we going?"
Silence envelopes the car, just the soft him of the engine the only thing filling in the space. A sigh slips out of my lips.
Great.
Not only is annoying, he is also acting mute.
Fine.
Two can play the game, I'd rather spend the rest of my life in that mansion than be in his presence anyways-
"Honeymoon." The answer makes me pause. Addrik looks into my eyes, lip curled at the side. "We are going on our honeymoon, my little bride."
My heart stutters at the sight of his smile. Not a cold on, no, it's soft, almost warm.
Our eyes locks like we are under a spell, I can feel my insides fluttering. Unfortunately, the moment is broken when he looks away, clearing his throat.
Breath fills my lungs again, chest heaving, mind jumbled. This is the effect Adrrik has on me, finding out that he still has this effect on me makes my cheeks burn.
Head down. My fingers curl with themselves.
This is crazy. What is wrong me with me?
The rest of the car ride is silent, yet my heart isn't. Not when the man I once dreamed of is right beside me. There are many things I don't want to admit. Including the fact that this crazy man actually has some effect on me.
A few hours later, when I am almost dozing off, the car comes to a halt in front of the most beautiful building I have ever laid my eyes on.
Eyes wide open, body leaning forward. I take in the large resort surrounded by nature, bright light that dances like a pistachio of color. "Beautiful." I Marvel, almost jumping out of the car.
Electric jolts my skin as a hand reaches out and grabs my wrist. "Stay still." Adrrik says.
My cheek must be as red as a tomato now. How could I have acted like an excited kid just now? Unable to meet his gaze, I force myself to relax until the car has pulled over.
Adrrik helps me out of the car, now that I lean closer to him, I notice that he smells of roses. A memory long forgotten invades my mind.
"Why do you have so many roses in your house?" I question him after a afternoon of sex. Adrrik runs his hand through my hair.
"I love tending to them." He responds. At the time, Adrrik was a normal man to me. I believed he was a young billonaire, and even though there was no way for us to be together, I still wanted him to be mine.
"Babochka?" His deep voice pulls me back to the present. He has a brow raised, trying to figure me out.
I take a step back, snatching my hand from his. The small of roses makes my stomach twist. I still can't figure out why I can smell it when everyother has evaded my senses.
Adrrik stay still for a moment, gaze fixed on the part where our hands had once been in touch, then he fists his hand and shoves it in his suit pocket. Jaw tight, he heads into the resort.
My feet moves on its own, following him through the beautiful place that screams of luxury and elegance. At least he did something right.
A honeymoon.
As if. I scoff. We are not some loving couple, so why bring me here? Silence lingers between us as we stand in the elevator, waiting for the door you open. When it does, he leads me to a room.
The moment Addrik opens the door to let me in, a sharp gasp leaves me. Breathless, and stunned. I walk into the room.
The red bed has flower petals scattered on it, forming a love shape. Behind it is a glass wall that oversees the ocean.
Another memory invades my head.
"When I get married, I want to go to the ocean for my honeymoon." Addrik was standing at the patio in his house. It my third day of being his exclusive dancer, but we had grown strangely close. "I want a red bed, covered in roses, like this one." I pointed to the rose places carefully in the vase beside us.
Tears stings my eyes.
He remembers. Those words were spoken many years ago. H-How? Realization hits like a running truck. H-He knows.
Adrrik knows who I am.
I spin around, only to see him standing right in front of me. "Y-You know?" I croak. He runs his gaze over my face and lifts a hand to cup my cheek.
"Yes."
Lips parted in shock, I can only stare at him.
"From the moment you spoke to me, I had recognized your voice. Even if you his your face from me. Even if you pretended not to recognize me." He leans closer with each words.
Those months I used with him, I had never allowed him to see my face. Even when he had sex, and it worked well because Adrrik never kisses, atleast he didn't kiss me.
I was just a whore he kept for amusement.
The thought snaps me back to my senses. Bile rising up my throat as I shake my head. I no longer have the strength for anger.
Maybe a day from now when I pull myself together, but now, now when I realize that my lies have been exposed, I feel drained.
Adrrik wraps a hand around my throat, slowly. Grey orbs darkening slowly. "I have always wondered why you left me. Why you left without a word." A dark chuckled rumbles out of him. "But after meeting you that day, I realized something. You approached me for a reason. And now that you know what you do." His hand grows tighter. "I want you dead. A slow, painful death that would follow you
to your grave. "
Immediately he says this, my pupil dilates.
D-Does he want to kill me?

06||~Enid.~~~~He left me all alone. Not for a day, or even a week, but for a whole month. For once since this whole fiasco began, there is actually a little joy in for lying to Addrik. If it Isn't me, then it would have been Ember. Ember hates the silence the most, she hates being left all alone. That was why she had been pissed with me when I ran to Russia and left her alone in that cold mansion. A small breath slips out of me as I gaze at the morning light through the window. "It's another day." Groaning, I slip out of the huge bed to begin my morning routine. One, two, three, four, five, six, Seven, eight. I do a little stretch before heading to the large ballroom in the mansion to dance. Eyes closed, breath steady. The dance begins. Twirling, swirling, a little sway- My leg gives out beneath me, a sharp pain jolting through my abdomen. My breath is heavy, eyes wet with tears. This wasn't how I was meant to end up. Broken, dreamless and even more useless t
05||~ Enid. ~~~~What if he sold me?What if I have been kidnapped! What if-I quickly make my way through the aisle in search of him, when I find Adrrik, he's seated with his head on his knuckles. My heart takes a while to calm down. I didn't get kidnapped. He's still here. I intended to leave after this, but seeing him looking peaceful, with his eyes closed and relaxed, my heart beat increases.I have never seen him asleep before. Whenever we had sex, he always left before I woke up. Now that I have seen it, he looks ethereal when he sleeps, especially his sharp jawline and full lips, vibrant skin and thick lashes. Clouded with my thoughts, I don't know I am closer to him, about to graze his cheek with my finger when his eyes snaps open, Adrrik grabs my hand and twists it to the side, making me let out a strangled scream as I fall onto his lap.Face first.“Ow. Stop, it's me." I exclaim, writhing in pain, but he doesn't let go." Why were you standing above me?” “I… I…. Was ju
04||~ Enid.~~~~I don’t smell the fire. I don’t smell anything, but my body remembers the orange flame licking at the walls of the once beautiful house I have spent only a day in.My hold on Adrrik's neck tightens as I try not to think of what else the fire can burn. We need to get out of here.Fast.“Hold this to your nose." Adrrik hands me a wet cloth, and I quickly take it and cover my nose with it.He makes his way to the kitchen instead of using the front door. There's more flame here. I want to ask him why he doesn't take the door, but now's not the time. The house grows hotter and hotter the more we stay in, I can hear Adrrik's harsh breath as his feet thump against the floor. The flame is everywhere, from the floor to the ceiling, everything is ablaze.“We shouldn't be passing here." Adrrik doesn't reply as he tries to navigate through the flame to get to the door.Hot bead of sweat rolls down our foreheads, the kitchen counter has a chuck of it burnt, the walls are now black
03||~ Enid.~~~~ “I am sorry but I…” I gulp. "I can't do that.” My voice comes out as a whisper, i can't let him see my body... Never.Adrrik shoots me a look more dangerous that the devil's gaze itself, but I prefer it to him seeing my scared body.“C… can I not-” my question has not left my mouth before Adrrik stands from the bed, his face devoid of emotions, without the sign of pain or discomfort despite his bandaged abdomen.I quickly step back. " No! You don't have to stand, I…I'll take it off" My voice is shaky, so is my hand as I reach for the back of my black, long sleeved, handkerchief dress. Eyes glued on Adrrik as he seats back on the bed and rests his back on the headboard, knees apart, not even a little bit bothered as he watches me unzip my cloth.I slowly take my eyes off him, knowing the look of disgust I would see in his eyes the moment he sees my body.I am hesitating to let the dress go, but without a choice, I do, slowly, my dress falls off my body and pools a

He commands, voice dangerously low. His grip on my throat tightens, gaze filled with bloodlust. I blink, clearing away the haziness from my eyes. “Enid… Ember, Ember Fabio.” Adrrik seems to know this name, his grip loosen as he rakes his gaze over me. “Take that off." “W… what?" “I don't repeat myself, take the mask off." I quickly do as he has said, hand shaky, hoping he doesn't recognize me, Adrrik leans closer to me, squinting his eyes, then he loosens his grip, making me sigh in relief, at least he doesn't recognize me. Adrrik steps back, looking down at the blood on the floor. “Clean that up and meet me in my room." He commands then he starts making his way up the
