IRIS POV:

The car kept moving north for what felt like forever. The highway slowly turned into narrower roads, then into private lanes lined with tall pines. No more billboards. No more lights from other packs. Just the soft glow from the dashboard.

Finally, the Rolls-Royce slowed. Tall iron gates appeared ahead, opening automatically as we approached.

Beyond them stretched an estate that took my breath away. Massive stone walls, perfectly trimmed hedges, fountains lit up with soft gold light, and a main house that looked more like a modern palace than a home.

Everything screamed money and power. The kind only Trillionaires could own.

As the car rolled to a stop in the circular driveway, men in black suits stepped out from the shadows. Bodyguards. At least ten of them. All holding guns, big ones, held low but ready. Their faces were hard, eyes sharp. They looked like they would shoot first and ask questions later.

The driver opened Aurelian’s door. He stepped out calmly, like this was normal. The guards moved toward him fast.

“Sir, you shouldn’t go out alone,” one of them said. “Especially not tonight. The protocols…”

Aurelian raised one hand. “It’s fine. I just needed some air. A short drive. No issue.”

The guards exchanged quick looks but stepped back. Aurelian started walking toward the house without another word.

He forgot me.

I sat there for a second, still in my ruined wedding gown, feeling stupid. Then I pushed the door open and stepped out. My heels clicked on the stone. The train of the dress dragged behind me like a heavy chain.

“Aurelian,” I called.

The guards spun toward me so fast I almost jumped. Their guns lifted just a little. Their eyes turned dark with anger, like I had no right to say his name out loud. One of them took a step forward, looking ready to grab me.

Aurelian stopped. He turned slowly.

“Easy,” he said to them calmly but boldly. “She’s a guest.”

The guards lowered their weapons right away, but their faces stayed hard. They watched me like I was a threat.

I swallowed and started walking. The gown dragged across the ground, picking up dirt and small stones. I felt small and out of place next to all this luxury.

Aurelian waited at the top of the wide steps. When I reached him, he opened the huge double doors without a word. Inside, the house was even more impressive: high ceilings, marble floors, crystal lights that looked like falling stars. It smelled clean, like cedar and fresh rain.

He led me up a curving staircase, then down a long hallway. We stopped at a door made of dark wood. He pushed it open.

The room was huge. A massive bed with white sheets, a sitting area with soft chairs, a wall of windows looking out at the forest, and a walk-in closet that was bigger than my father's bedroom at our mansion. Clothes hung neatly, dresses, shirts, jeans, everything in simple but expensive fabrics.

“Change into something comfortable,” he said. “Pick whatever you like.”

I stood there for a moment, confused, wanting him to give me space or turn back or something rather than standing there looking at me.

He looked at me, head tilted. “You can’t get out of that dress by yourself.”

He was right. The back was full of tiny buttons and a tight corset tie. I had needed help even to put it on, but I didn't stand there for that reason. I stood there so he would leave, but he didn't.

I turned my back to him slowly. My face burned.

He stepped closer. His fingers moved slowly, unhooking my buttons one by one. He didn’t turn away. He didn’t act shy or polite about it. He just did it like it was nothing, like he had every right to look.

When the dress loosened, he stepped back and sat in one of the chairs. He pulled out his phone and started scrolling, eyes on the screen.

I let the gown fall to my waist. I stood there in my bra and underwear, arms crossed over my chest. I glanced at him.

He was watching.

Not staring openly, but peeking from the corner of his eye. When he saw me catch him, he didn’t look away. He just smiled a little, like he didn’t care that I noticed.

My cheeks went hot. I turned fast and tried to untie the rest of the dress. My fingers shook. I couldn’t reach the last knots.

He noticed.

Without a word, he stood up and walked over. His hands came around me again from behind. He loosened the final ties. The dress slid down completely.

Now I was almost naked.

He didn’t step back right away. He stayed close. His eyes moved over me, slow, calm, like he was allowed to look as much as he wanted.

Something in his stare made my stomach flip. Not fear exactly. Something else.

I stepped back. He stepped forward. I stepped back again, and he stepped forward.

My back hit the wall.

He reached past me and pressed something behind my shoulder. A soft click. A hidden panel slid open, revealing a luxury bathroom, marble everywhere, a huge glass shower, gold fixtures.

“You need a shower,” he said quietly.

I didn’t argue. I ran into the bathroom like it was the only safe place left in the room.

The door shut behind me. But it wasn’t a normal door. It was thick frosted glass. Blurry, but not completely private. I could see his shape standing on the other side, tall, still, watching.

I was sure he could see me too.

I turned on the water fast. Hot steam filled the air. I stepped under the spray and let it hit me. My skin burned from the heat, but I didn’t care. I scrubbed fast, trying to wash away the night, the ceremony, the video, the tears, everything.

When I finished, I grabbed a thick white towel and wrapped it around myself tight.

The glass door opened with a soft hiss. No handle on my side. Just his fingerprint, I realized. This was his room. His space. His rules.

I stepped out, water still dripping from my hair.

Aurelian stood there, closer now.

“Tell me,” he whispered, “are you frightened of what happens inside you the moment I’m near?”

I froze, the towel pressed against my chest.

“I… I…” My voice trembled.

He stepped closer, a smirk playing on his lips.

My pulse spikes; it’s as if he can see right through me.

SERAH POV:I stood in front of the mirror for the tenth time, adjusting the straps of my dress. The fabric was dark red and it hugged my body in all the right places. I had spent the last hour getting ready. Candles were lit across the living room. Soft music played from the speaker near the window. Everything was perfect.I looked at myself again. My hair was down, my makeup was light but noticeable. I wanted tonight to be something I and Stephen would never forget. I wanted to feel like I was choosing him, not like the universe was forcing us together. Then an idea hit me. Why not record this? I could watch it later. Remember the moment he walked in, the way he looked at me, the way everything felt.I grabbed my phone and set up one camera in the living room, facing the door. That would catch him when he first showed up. I set another one near the staircase, angled so it would catch us if we kissed our way up to the bedroom. Then I set a third one inside the bedroom, hidden near the

IRIS POV:I sat quietly beside Serah while lights passed outside the windows. My head still hurt slightly from everything I remembered. Every time I closed my eyes, flashes of the old reality appeared again. Everything felt mixed together.Serah kept glancing at me every few seconds like she was afraid I would suddenly disappear again."You okay?" she asked softly.I nodded weakly. But honestly, I didn't know. There was only one thing I knew for sure right now."I want to see my mom.""Alright, I'll drop you there."I nodded."You know, in the other reality… she was in a coma."Serah stayed quiet."Aurelian said she would stay like that for years," I whispered. "More than ten years."But here, my mother was alive and healthy. One of the few beautiful things this reality gave me.Serah's expression softened."I wish I remembered," Serah said."I wish you did," I whispered to myself.I smiled and looked out the window quietly while she drove. The closer we got to the mansion, the faster

ZEVARIS POV: I stood there quietly, staring at the waves of the river. Interesting. Very interesting. I looked down at my hands slowly. I flexed my fingers slightly and smiled faintly. "So this is what it feels like to be Virx." I turned around and Rowe and Stephen immediately straightened. Neither of them noticed anything wrong. Of course they didn't. I walked towards the car. "We're heading back to the mansion." He nodded. "Yes, Boss." All three of us entered the car and the engine started. —·—·—·—·—·—·— SERAH POV: I kept glancing toward Iris every few seconds. Her breathing had become steadier. Then suddenly, Iris coughed violently beside me. "Iris?" Her body jerked slightly before her eyes slowly opened. "Oh my God…" I slowed the car slightly. "You're okay," I said quickly. "You're alright." She blinked slowly while looking around. She looked confused. Then suddenly, her entire expression changed. "Iris?" She slowly looked at me and the way she looked at me mad

AURELIAN POV:"Zevaris? Your brother?" I asked. "The same one who asked for knowledge from the moon goddess?""Yes," Vaelthor answered."And what business do I have with him?""You have something of mine in you. And I suppose he told you to kill yourself.""Yes.""Hmm… Zevaris… what brings you here," he whispered. "Thank you for the message. Iris will be fine but you must be ready to face the consequences when it comes, because it will."Everything suddenly became dark. The palace vanished. Vaelthor vanished. Kael vanished. It felt like the entire world beneath me disappeared. Then I fell. For one brief second, there was nothing but darkness and the feeling of sinking endlessly. Then immediately, my eyes snapped open.I was on the shore. My body jerked upward violently just as Serah raised the gun again toward my head."Wait!" I shouted quickly.Serah froze."It worked," I said immediately."What? You're still alive?" she said.I pointed toward Iris. Serah turned instantly. Rowe and S

AURELIAN POV:"Fuck!" My eyes snapped open as I violently rubbed my face, but the bullets were gone.I looked around and I was standing in a familiar place. Vaelthor's palace. I turned around and looked towards the end of the wide palace where his throne sat. Two armed guards stood side by side before his throne.Anger burned in my chest as I walked towards him. I reached the guards and they blocked me."Get out of my way," I growled under my breath."The king didn't permit you," the man said back.I ignored him and took a step forward. The two guards moved at the same time. A palm slammed into my chest before I could react. The force launched me several feet backward across the polished floor. I slid violently before stopping near one of the massive pillars.Pain burned through my ribs as I slowly looked up. Vaelthor hadn't moved. He sat on his throne with one arm resting against the side of his face, watching silently. Like he wanted to see what would happen. Like this was entertain

AURELIAN POV:I opened my eyes and I was back. I still held Iris's hands in mine, but she wasn't speaking again. Her face had gone pale and her skin was gray, with cracks over them.I held her carefully and kept her on the ground."You won't die. That I promise you."I looked up and saw a mountain. It was the highest on the whole island."Don't heal," I said to my wolf.'I can't. If the damage can be healed then I'll have no other choice than to heal myself.'"Then I'll have to make sure the damage can't be," I said.I looked around desperately. Then my eyes landed on a sharp rock. It stood out from the others near the bottom of the mountain, long and jagged like a spear pointed toward the sky.And suddenly an idea formed in my head. If normal damage healed, then maybe complete destruction wouldn't. Maybe if I shattered enough of my body at once, I looked back at Iris lying motionless on the ground. Gray cracks were spreading slowly across her skin. Time was running out.I turned towa
