Marcella’s POV

When she left I felt a certain feeling, a thirst burned inside me, a hunger so deep.

She mentioned ‘The rose’. Finally, it was about time. Seemed like she was ready to take the step but was too scared to do it, maybe she feared rejection.

My sister called out my name but I was staring at the door where she left, my mind was still fixed at her words.

“What signs are you talk about about!!” She hit my arm.

“The Rose”. I said quietly my sister tilted her head to the left corner looking at me strangely.

“What are you talking about?” She asked me confused.

“I’m going to tell my truth”. I immediately told my sister in a swift turn.

“Uh….. that was unexpected…” she stood surprised but I wasn’t going to let her judgment change my mind.

“I think it’s time”. I spoke to my sister feeling confident with my decision.

“Now? Are you sure you want to do this?” Maya asked, her voice hushed as the reality of my plan sank in. “This is big, Marcella. Do you really think you can pull this off? It’s not just Mom and Dad down there, everyone is here and they will all be listening, I’m not trying to scare you but….can you really do it? She reminded me.

I had felt so confident some minutes ago, but hearing her say all this out loud made my stomach do a nervous flip. For years, I had hidden behind fake smiles, expensive fabrics but my acts was telling something different. I knew people suspected something was different about me, but no one had the audacity to voice it. Well…. How could they? They were all far too dependent on my parents' empire. They wouldn’t want to be in their bad book.

I am the heiress of SK group, the only legitimate child of Melvin and Meribeth Solis. Their only child after 17 years of marriage, yeah you could say I am a miracle baby that added joy to their marriage. But for twenty years, I had been a stranger to myself and tonight being my twenty-first birthday, that was all going to change.

Tonight was the night, my 21st birthday, the perfect opportunity to let them know, I’ll tell them the truth about the real me, the true me… and it’s left to them to decide if they’ll still love me or not.

They were all waiting for me downstairs, goodness it’s my birthday party and it’s the Solis family, it’ll always be glamourous, my mom was a show off and a woman of excessive flair and my dad was a man of uncompromising standard so yeah I’m left with no choice than to have a grand entry.

I had pulled my adopted sister, Maya, into a corner of the dressing room just as the makeup artist finished with my make up, telling her my plans which brings us back to the present.

“This is the only chance I have,” I said, my voice trembling slightly as I defended my choice. “This is the only time I can tell them the truth and have them listen.”

Maya took a deep breath, searching my eyes. “Okay... if you’re sure…I’ll support you”. She took my hands in hers, giving them a supportive squeeze. “I’ll be right behind you.”

“Thank you,” I whispered.

“Anyway,” she added with a small, encouraging smile as she turned toward the door, “you look lovely.”

I smiled back at her. Her words had comforted me making me feel a sense of relief. Left alone, I turned to the mirror. I looked more beautiful than I ever had. My red hair tumbled over my shoulders in polished waves, and my skin shimmered under the led lights. The red silk of my dinner gown clung to me like a second skin. God I looked beautiful more than every ordinary day. I had put so much work into this transformation, and I prayed it wasn't for nothing.

I took one last look at my reflection, straightened my spine, and stepped out.

As I reached the top of the grand staircase, the pianist struck a soft note that made the room fall into a melodious trance. I looked down at the sea of faces in the hall. My sister was right, the crowd was massive. My heart felt contained by fear and the consequences of my actions, I became scared, was I really going to do this? How would my parents feel? Could I really pull this off? How would life be after that moment? I spoke in my heart feeling discouraged and for a second, I felt the urge to turn back and hide in my room forever.

But then, I saw her.

Standing amidst the crowd in a black dress, she looked like a vision. The world seemed to slow down. When she caught my eye and smiled, my fear vanished, replaced by a surge of defiant confidence. I smiled back and began my descent.

Midway down the stairs, I paused. I signaled to the maid following me, who promptly handed me a glass of wine and a silver fork. I tapped the glass three times. The music died instantly and all eyes fell on me.

“Hello, everyone. I have something to say.”

The silence was heavy. My parents exchanged a confused glance before looking up at me, I couldn’t ask for less from their reaction, they had no idea what was coming.

I looked back at her in the crowd. She was breathtaking, black wavy hair, a sharp black dress, and a smile that made the risk feel worth it. That white girl had me completely locked in.

“For a long time, I’ve carried something inside me, a part of myself that I’ve kept hidden,” I began. My voice echoed in the silent hall.

The room was so silent and all I could hear was my voice I felt like I should stop but that smile was pushing me beyond reason.

“I’ve always wanted to say it out, scream it at the top of my voice at the rooftops but for some reason I hid in my closet” her eyes was still fixed on me, giving me the courage to speak, I didn’t want my speech to be too long so I decided to let the cat out the bag and have everything ended so quickly.

“Mum, Dad, I’m…..” just as I was about to say it, my courage died when I saw what happened.

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 161

Lucille’s pov I was already back at school. My dad had gotten a new place for me, he didn't want me anywhere near my mom. He had truly stepped up, transforming into a completely different father from the one I used to know. I remembered exactly how it all happened. The moment she demanded I stop seeing Marcella and apologize to Patrick, I stood up to her and finally found my voice. "No," I had said, my voice low but firm. "What did you say?" she asked, reaching out to grip my arm still holding my chin high. I forcefully pushed her hand aside. "No! No! Mom, No, I won't do it!" I yelled at her. She was visibly stunned by my reaction. Infuriated, she raised the spatula to strike me again. I shielded my face, bracing myself for the impact, but the blow never came. When I looked up, her hand was frozen in mid air. Slowly, she lowered her arm and withdrew. “Lucille, I am giving you two weeks, exactly fourteen days to end it," she said, her voice dropping to a deadly whisper. "If

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 160

Marcella’s POV Ever since that phone call with Lucille and the abrupt way she hung up, I had been completely buried myself with worry. I tried calling her back countless times, but the line simply wouldn't connect. Was everything alright? That single question looped endlessly in my mind. Or had something terrible happened to her? I spent the entire night paranoid and consumed by anxiety, completely forgetting about my own mounting troubles. The next morning, I tried her number again, only to be met with the exact same dead tone. Lucille was the only person left who could bring a smile to my face, and not being able to reach her was agonizing. Yet, deep down, I tried to force myself to believe she was okay. Back to my own world, I had absolutely no desire to step foot out of my room. Staring out the window that morning, my mind felt clouded by a dark, heavy fog. I knew my mum all too well. If I refused to go through with the arrangement, I was completely done for but if I accepte

Lucille’s pov It was my mom. She barged into the room holding a wooden spatula. My heart jumped out of my chest. I hung up immediately and shrank back, wishing my father were here to shield me as she stormed closer. "Now you listen to me, child... You haven’t told me the truth about what Patrick said. Is it true?" I wondered where my dad was now, right when I needed him the most. "Mom... I can explain." "Shut the fuck up and just tell me... Is. It. True?!" I couldn't hide the truth any longer. If Patrick already knew, what was the point of lying? I nodded my head slowly. My head down unable to meet my mum gaze. "So it is true..." She pointed the spatula at me, her face contorting. "Even when I asked you about it before and you denied it, it was all true..." Suddenly, my phone rang in my hand. In a flash of fury, my mom snatched it from my grip and smashed it violently onto the floor. The screen shattered, and I couldn't hold back my tears anymore, they poured down my face. I

Marcella’s pov. She was on the phone, and it felt incredible to hear her voice. My sweet Lucille. But her tone was low, much lower than usual, much lower than I had expected. She didn’t sound happy the way she usually did. The call felt cold and awkward, but it was still a massive relief just to hear her voice. "Ella," I heard her call from the other end. "How are you doing?" "I..." I paused, stumbling over what to say next. I was completely at a loss. Should I just tell her the truth about what happened, or remain silent? God, how could I face the person I love with such a humiliating truth? Would she even believe me? How else would she see me? How could I possibly defend myself? The very man I had warned her about, the man I hated and despised so much, the one I tried to push her away from, that was the man I was now forced to marry. Isn’t life a bitch? "I’m fine... What about you?" I asked instead. I’m good too…” she replied from her own end. A heavy silence stretched betwe

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 157

Lucille’s pov I could hear their fierce bickering and shouts echoing from downstairs. This was all because of me. For the first time in my entire life, my dad was actually standing up for me. Ever since I was a child, he had been the silent observer, quietly watching and listening while my mother barked orders concerning my life. She always claimed she did it with my best interests at heart, but something deep inside me kept whispering otherwise, that she was only doing this for what she stood to gain. I couldn't stand the suffocating heat of their argument anymore, which is why I had bolted upstairs. But the memory of how my mom had faced me the moment Patrick and Laurel left, the scene was still fresh and terrifying. When it was down to just the family, the mask had completely slipped. "You useless child!" she had screamed, rushing toward me to grab me, only for my dad to suddenly step between us. "Jolene... stop!" That was the first time I had ever heard my dad address my moth

  • Craving you: Locked Desires   Chapter 156

Lucille’s pov We all sat together at the dining table, my mom, my dad, Patrick, and Laurel. I could hardly swallow. I knew Laurel’s presence in our home meant absolute trouble, and I could tell my mom sensed it too. Now, finally, she would realize that she wasn’t always right. Patrick had introduced Laurel as "his guest." That alone was a terrible sign. No one had the heart to question him. We all remained silent. "I never knew you two knew each other," my mom remarked, her eyes shifting suspiciously between Laurel and Patrick. "The world is a small place," Patrick replied smoothly, cutting into his food. "This meal is fantastic, by the way. I love guacamole, and you did an amazing job on it." He complimented my mom, and a strained smile broke across her face. "Thank you..." she murmured. She sounded as though she had actually cooked it herself. If only he knew she had bought the food from a fancy restaurant just to please him. "Why is she here?" my dad asked, cutting straig

Marcella’s pov When I finally stepped through the front door, I was glowing, my skin still flushed with the lingering heat of everything that had happened. I just had my first time, I never expected my first date to be so breathtakingly perfect. And my first time… what’s the word? Fabusome!!!!!.

Marcella’s pov She pulled me into her arms, looking deep into my eyes, then found my lips. “Pretty Ella…” she rubbed my lips tenderly, as we fell flat on the bed and she fiddles me with brush of kisses feeling numb in the comfort of her bosom, her touch always made me feel helplessly in love.

Marcella’s pov She grabbed my bum pressing into it softly as she rested her head on my shoulder, my heart was aching for her next move.
