SERAFINA The sudden beeping of his machines jolted me from my emotional turmoil. His body jerked at seconds intervals, and sweat began pouring down his body. Tears? With well toned biceps that nearly tore through his silk white shirt and deep black hair that extended to his upper back, he gave off an ancient vibe. As he swayed his hips towards us, the ground beneath nearly shook from the impact. “Get away from her.” The first man staggered towards me, almost shaking in fear while his counterpart squared up to the strange man. “And what's it to you?” He thundered. “Why don't you mind your business?” The man gave a pretty dead glare from up close. And thanks to his height, he was looking down at my assaulter who definitely didn't measure up to six five feet, giving the man a good scare which he was good

SERAFINA The day broke quite fast but I was yet to recover from the dizziness that resulted from having to knock out the nurse. My insides writhed with excruciating pain, and I fell asleep occasionally throughout the night. With every strength I could gather, I managed to stand on my feet, with a little staggering. Noises filtered in from the hallway, leaving me with no choice to take the stair anyways, to wherever I had decided to go. But I couldn't leave without seeing Rapheal. A sudden metal clang alerted me of the door knob, which was gripped by the other side and pushed repeatedly until it burst open and two men gave me a once over, before making their way to wherever. I wondered why they were taking the stairs. Shutting the door behind me, I was grateful that the clouds hadn't brightened as much. Maybe I could finally see him. He was at the VIP ward which I couldn't access without a card. Looking around, there were just a few nurses loitered around. I
