Eleven

Tia's POV

I growled as I got inside my room in the main pack building. Today was a long day especially with Michelle jumping into the picture. I didn't think she would ever be a problem until the history teacher asked us to have a combined class with the other class.

She was a bitch, Ramy wasn't wrong about her.

And now I feel like I have reason to hate her.

She literally made me stand for the whole period and if not that we didn't know each other I would have thought she had a problem with me or probably hated me.

I pray this combined class thing never happens again.

And even if it happens again I wouldn't make the attempt to sit beside her even if there were more than one empty seat at her side.

Today really was a stressful day.

My feet hurt thanks to that bitch called Michelle.

She placed her bag on the seat when she saw me coming to sit beside her like she didn't want me near her.

She later gave an excuse that someone was there.

I growled at myself.

I believed her until the class ended where I saw her bag still laying on the chair.

I didn't have a choice but to stand for the one hour class with some of the students who didn't get a seat.

I was about to drop my backpack on the small table in the corner when I noticed my room looked different.

The good kind.

Clean. The bed spread was changed.

I didn't think about it and called my mom to let her know I was back from school but she didn't answer.

I laid on the bed waiting for her to call back. I didn't know how or when I fell asleep but when I opened my eyes again everywhere was dark.

I didn't get up immediately as I rubbed my eyes for a few seconds before opening my eyes to scan the room that felt more chilly than I recalled.

The room was in total darkness and a chilly feeling washed over me.

I felt watched. Goosebumps raised on my skin as I saw a dark shadow at the corner of my room.

I rubbed my eyes to get rid of the sleep in my eyes.

The shadow became clearer. Familiar perhaps too familiar.

I stared into the dark as I felt the shadow closing in. my heart kept pounding in my chest but I wasn't scared when I should.

Alpha Orion?

I stood up immediately from where I sat with my gaze stuck on his figure.

Him!

What was he doing here and how did he get in because I locked the door.

I turned my eyes and the window was opened. Cold air pouring in and rain droplet falling from the sky.

It was raining outside.

He was suddenly in front of me and I stumbled back in shock.” Mine!!” he growled at my face, his eyes red and staring dangerously at me.

My stomach twisted and fear clouded my chest. I couldn't step back even if I wanted to because of the bed.

His face slowly came closer to mine.

” Mine!!” He growled again but his voice was lower this time.

His hands slide around my waist, pulling me to himself.

I stared in confusion.

My mind froze as he pushed his face into my neck and sunk his fungs into my flesh.

What was he doing?

I shut my eyes, screaming in pain as pain ran though me.

He pulled his face away with blood all over his lip.

” What did you do to me?” I asked, touching my neck and there was no pain or blood.

“ No.” I whispered, my lips barely opened.

He claimed me!

And just like that my eyes flipped open. I looked around the room in terror and it was as dark as it was in my dream.

I immediately flipped the light at the bedside on to see if there was anyone in the room aside me.

A sigh of relief left my lips as I realized it was all a dream and I was alone in the room.

How the hell would I have such a dream?

Not like Alpha Orion would look at someone like me and besides he did say he has found his mate.

Why was I dreaming of him claiming me?

How absurd. I taunted myself as I got out of the bed to get cleaned up.

I checked my phone and there was sixteen miss calls on my phone.

My mom had called me eleven times. My dad has called four and the other two was from an unknown number.

I unlocked my screen to return her call.

“ Tia.” I heard the relief in her voice and I frowned.” Is everything okay, mom?” I found her behavior strange.

“ I'm glad you are okay. I thought something had happened to you.”

What did she mean by that?

" The pack has been attacked and when I couldn't reach you I almost lost my mind." she explained and my thought immediately went to Orion.

Did that mean he was out there fighting to protect the pack in this heavy storm?

" Where are you? Your father is out there with Alpha Orion." my mom asked and I cleared my throat.

Why was I worried about him?.

" At the pack house." I replied and she kept quite." Don't leave your room, Tia. Lock your door and don't open it matter what." she instructed and to be frank I was beginning to feel scared.

" But mo..."

" I'm coming to get you, Tia."

" Mom, it's raining." I said but she hugged up on me.

I let out a sign.

I walked to the window and there was nothing weird outside.

The whether was a bit angry looking at how it was raining.

I suddenly wanted to tell my mom not to come but knowing her she wouldn't listen.

I sighed folding my arm on my chest while looking out through the window.

My phone began to ring again after a few seconds and it was my mom.

She was calling me on a video call.

looking at her surroundings I was sure she was in her car.

And definitely on her way here.

" Mom..." she averted her gaze as if something else caught her attention.

" Mom, are you okay?" I could hear the sound of the rain. They heavy storm.

" Tia, the path is blocked but I will find a way to come get you." she assured and I knew what she would do.

I knew my mom.

She would shift if she had to.

" Mom, you don't have to come over. I'm fine." I tried to talk to her but she didn't want to listen.

The rain was getting crazy and thunder was screaming every two seconds.

I moved away from the window, terrified of the storm.

" Mom." the phones screen began to flicker and my mom's voice started breaking.

The last thing I heard from her was a tree falling on her car.

I tried calling her countless times but it wasn't going through.

I tried my dad's number but it didn't go through.

What if something had happened to my mom?

I shoved the phone onto the bed and my gaze suddenly landed the opened closet.

I walked to it and started searching through it.

I found the pink rain coat and dashed out of the room to look for my mom.

My whole body drenched in water as soon as I stepped out of the building.

The rain was heavy. It was scary outside. The dream night was quite scary with the rain and storm in the picture.

I took the familiar path to see if I would find her.

I was only a few steps away when my feet froze.

Orion?

He was standing there shirtless. In the rain. And his gaze was on me.

The smell of blood mixed with his scent.

I swallowed before parting my lips slowly.

" My mom..." before I could finish my words he was standing in front of me.

" What the fuck are you doing out here?" he demanded.

His eyes flashed red and I stepped back. He did otherwise. His eyes not leaving mine.

" My mom.." I said, breathing heavily and feeling relief at the same time.

A part of me wasn't scared of him when I knew I should.

" I'm fighting those bastard for you and here you are offering yourself willing to them." he accused and I frowned.

" What do you mean..."

He swept me off my feet and shoved me over his shoulder like I weight nothing.

" Maybe I have to lock you up."
