Dangerous Morning

last update publish date: 2026-05-13 20:41:44

Victor was coming home early and I was still covered in his son’s marks.

My eyes flew open. Damien’s strong arm lay heavy across my waist. The master bedroom smelled like sex and his skin. The sheets were twisted around our naked bodies. I felt sore in places I should not. Shame washed over me like cold water. I had begged his son to fuck me all night long in my husband’s own bed. What kind of woman does that after selling herself to an old man for money?

“Damien,” I whispered urgently as I shook his shoulder. “Wake up. Your father is coming back this morning. We need to fix everything now.”

Damien pulled me closer instead of letting go. His hand slid down my bare back. “Let him come. You belong to me now, Ava. Not him.”

I pushed against his chest and sat up, holding the sheet to my breasts. “Do not say that. This was a mistake. I feel so dirty. I sold my body to your father to save my family. He is old enough to be my dad and I let you fuck me in his bed. I hate myself for wanting it so much.”

Damien sat up slowly. His stormy gray eyes looked at me with that same possessive hunger. “You did not just let me. You rode my cock like you needed it. You came screaming my name while your husband was gone. Stop lying to yourself.”

My cheeks burned hot. “Please stop talking like that. I know what I did. I know how wrong it is. But when you touch me, I cannot think straight. I feel ashamed every single day for marrying Victor, and now I feel even worse because I want you more than I should.”

We got out of bed quickly. I stripped the dirty sheets while Damien helped. We put on fresh ones together. Every time his fingers brushed my skin, heat rushed through me again. I hated how my body responded to him.

“I need to shower,” I said. “There are marks all over me.”

Damien followed me into the bathroom. “I like seeing my marks on you.”

“Stop,” I whispered, but I did not push him away when he stepped under the hot water with me. We washed each other in silence. His hands were gentle this time. I closed my eyes and tried not to enjoy it too much.

After the shower, I chose a modest long-sleeved dress that covered most of my neck and arms. I stood in front of the mirror and tried to hide the red spots with makeup. It was not enough. “He will see them. What am I going to do?”

Damien came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. “Come with me to the library. We still have time before he lands. I need to check something.”

I turned in his arms. “Damien, we cannot do this again. Victor could come back any minute. I feel guilty enough already. I am his wife. He paid to save my family and I am betraying him like this.”

“You feel guilty, but you are still wet for me,” he said quietly. “I can see it in your eyes. Tell me the truth, Ava. Do you want me to stop?”

I looked down at the floor. My voice came out small. “No. I do not want you to stop. That is what scares me the most. I should only feel disgust for what I did, but I keep remembering how good you made me feel.”

He took my hand and led me to the library. The room was quiet and full of tall bookshelves. Damien closed and locked the door behind us.

“We should not be in here,” I said, but I let him pull me close.

Damien kissed me slowly this time. His hands moved under my dress. “Just one more time before he comes back. I need to feel you again.”

I kissed him back even though I knew it was dangerous. “This is crazy. I am so weak when it comes to you. I hate what I have become.”kk

He lifted me onto the large antique wooden desk. Books shifted as he pushed my dress up to my waist. He dropped to his knees in front of me and pulled my panties aside.

“Damien,” I moaned softly as his tongue touched me. “We should not do this here.”

He licked me with slow, deep strokes. “You taste so good. Tell me how it feels.”

“It feels too good,” I gasped. My fingers went into his dark hair. “I should be thinking about your father, but all I can think about is you. This is so wrong, but please do not stop.”

His tongue moved faster while two fingers pushed inside me. I tried to stay quiet, but soft moans kept escaping. The pleasure built quickly. I came hard on his tongue, biting my hand to keep from crying out loud.

Damien stood up. His eyes were dark with need. He opened his pants and freed his hard cock. “Look at me, Ava.”

I looked into his eyes as he pushed inside me slowly. “Oh God,” I whispered. “You feel so deep.”

He moved with long, steady strokes. “Tell me who makes you feel like this.”

“You do,” I admitted between moans. “Your father never made me feel anything. I feel nothing when I think about him. But with you, I cannot control myself.”

We kept our eyes locked the whole time. He squeezed my breasts through the dress while he thrust deeper. “You are mine now, Ava. Say it.”

“I should be his,” I whispered, even as I wrapped my legs tighter around him. “But right now I am yours. Please, Damien. Make me come again.”

He fucked me harder on the desk. The sound of our bodies meeting filled the quiet library. I came again, shaking in his arms. He followed right after, burying himself deep inside me.

We stayed connected, breathing hard. I rested my head on his shoulder. “I feel so guilty. I sold myself to an old man and now I cannot stay away from his son. What kind of person am I?”

Damien kissed my forehead. “A person who was forced into a bad situation. My father does not deserve you.”

He helped me down from the desk. While I fixed my dress, Damien walked over to Victor’s desk in the corner of the library. He tried the drawers.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“Looking for answers,” he said. “I know my father hides things. Stay there and keep watch.”

I stood near the door while he searched. After a few minutes, he pulled out a folder. We sat together on the leather couch and opened it carefully.

“Medical reports,” Damien said quietly. He read through the pages. “He has a terminal illness. The doctors gave him less than a year. That is why he married you so quickly. He needs an heir before he dies.”

I covered my mouth with my hand. “He never told me any of this. He just paid my family’s debts and took me as his wife. I thought I was saving them, but he only wanted a young body to give him a child.”

Damien put the papers back exactly as he found them. “He uses people. Always has. We need to be very careful from now on.”

We left the library and tried to act normal. My legs still felt weak and new marks hid under my dress. I prayed Victor would not notice.

A few hours later, the private elevator chimed much earlier than expected. Victor walked into the penthouse. He looked tired from the rushed trip but his eyes were sharp as always.

“Ava,” he said. He pulled me into his arms and kissed my cheek, then my neck. “I missed my beautiful young wife.”

“I missed you too,” I lied. My voice came out shaky.

Victor held me close. His hand moved down my back. Suddenly he stopped. He pulled the collar of my dress to the side and stared at the red mark on my neck.

His body went still. “What is this mark on your neck, Ava?”

I stepped back quickly. My heart pounded so hard I could hear it in my ears.

Victor looked from me to Damien, who stood watching from across the room. His voice became dangerously calm.

“Damien,” he said. “Did you touch my wife while I was gone?”

  • Forbidden Obsession: Falling for My Stepson   The Phantom of Montmartre

The rain came down in sheets over Montmartre and I knew we were chasing more than just a name.I pulled my coat tighter around me as Damien and I hurried down the narrow cobblestone street. Water soaked through my shoes but I kept moving. Paris at night felt alive and dangerous all at once with the fog rolling in thick and the lights from little cafes cutting through the mist. We had landed only hours ago and already we were on the hunt for Charlotte Vance. The artist who might be Victor’s secret daughter. The half sister we never knew existed.Damien kept close his shoulder brushing mine. “The gallery owner said she works late most nights. This should be the place. You ready for this?”I nodded gripping his arm. “Ready as I will ever be. What do we even say to her? Hey your dad was a monster who hid you from the world and now his old business partners want to use you like a chess piece?”He let out a short laug

The private jet engines roared to life and I gripped Damien’s hand so tight my knuckles turned white knowing we were leaving our baby girl behind in a city full of enemies.I sat across from Damien in the leather seats of the jet our knees almost touching in the small cabin. The city lights of New York faded below us as we climbed into the night sky. Maya was safe back in the penthouse with layers of security we trusted with our lives but every mile we flew away from her felt like a knife in my chest. I had kissed her sleeping face a hundred times before we left whispering promises I hoped I could keep. Now the plane carried us toward Paris and the truth about Victor’s secret daughter. We had to find her before Julian used her to tear everything apart.Damien leaned forward his eyes locked on mine. “You okay love? We can still turn back if this feels wrong.”I shook my head swallowing the lump in my throat. “No. We hav

The private meeting room felt smaller than it should have as I slid the thick folder across the table toward Julian De Witt and watched his aristocratic face for any sign of fear that never came.I had chosen this neutral location carefully a quiet suite in a midtown hotel far from the penthouse and the prying eyes of the press. Maya was safe at home with Damien and our most trusted team. I had come alone because this confrontation needed to be mine. The evidence from the foundation’s audit burned in the folder like live coals. Months of forensic work had uncovered the De Witt family’s dark pipeline of art forgery and cultural theft. I was ready to use it. Ready to force Julian to back down from his family’s claim on my daughter. But the moment I sat across from him I knew this meeting would not go as I had planned.Julian leaned back in his chair his posture relaxed and elegant in his tailored suit. His cold blue eyes met mine with poli

  • Forbidden Obsession: Falling for My Stepson   Ava’s Independent Investigation

The weight of the latest De Witt threat pressed on me like a stone and I decided right then that I would no longer sit quietly while strangers tried to claim pieces of my daughter’s future.I stood in the study of the penthouse with Maya playing at my feet stacking colorful blocks with focused determination. At two years old she had become a whirlwind of energy and curiosity filling our days with laughter and small discoveries. But the threats from across the Atlantic never fully left my mind. Julian’s visit and the Swiss contract had shown us how deep the De Witt family’s reach extended. They wanted influence over Maya. They wanted a claim on the bloodline. I refused to be a passive pawn waiting for lawyers and Damien to handle everything. As head of the Maya Foundation I had resources and authority. It was time to use them.I kissed the top of Maya’s head and called for the nanny to watch her for a while. Then I sat at the large

  • Forbidden Obsession: Falling for My Stepson   The Gala of Whispers

The moment Julian De Witt stepped into the glittering New York art gala I felt the air thicken with danger and I knew this evening would test every ounce of control Damien and I had left.I stood beside Damien in the grand ballroom of the Metropolitan Museum of Art my hand resting lightly on his arm. The high profile event had been carefully arranged to project strength and normalcy after the recent threats. Crystal chandeliers cast warm light over the crowd of New York’s elite. Paintings worth millions hung on the walls while waiters moved silently with trays of champagne. We had come to protect our reputation. To show the world that the Langford family stood united and unbroken. But inviting Julian had been a necessary risk. The De Witts had made their claim clear. Ignoring them would only make them bolder. So we hosted him here in public where every move would be watched by hundreds of eyes.Maya was safe in the penthouse with our most trusted te

The security footage from the nursery breach played on loop in my mind as Damien prepared to leave the penthouse alone and I realized the man I loved was about to walk straight into the lion’s den for our daughter.I stood in the doorway watching him check his weapon one last time. His movements were precise and calm but I could see the fury burning beneath the surface. Julian De Witt had crossed a line that no one should ever cross. The antique coin on my nightstand had been a warning. A message that the De Witts could reach us anywhere even in our most protected space. Damien had not slept since the discovery. He had spent every waking hour tracking Julian’s movements through the city. Now he had located him on a private yacht anchored in the Hudson River. Instead of sending a team he had decided to go himself. I wanted to beg him to stay but I knew better. Maya’s safety was on the line and Damien would move mountains or burn them down to pro
