LOGINEnyo Burnside
The sparks were far more than with Ben, they surged through me making my wolf howl in appreciation. She wanted to mark and take him then and there if she had the chance. The look of confusion when I asked about the attack him and his people were meant to have committed. All that I could feel from him was the truth when he told me he never had anything to do with it.
For the first time in four years I felt something more than just rage and the need for revenge. Even though as soon as I lost that connection that feeling quickly returned, he gave me a feeling of calm I felt like I needed. All too soon the howl of the Beta of my pack burst through my calmness.
I need Clayton to go, asking him and seeing the hurt and reluctance on his handsome face shattered a part of me I didn’t even know I had. The way he cups my face has my core throbbing, but the soft kiss has me coating my thighs with my juices. Another howl lets me know they are closing in on our location. Agreeing to meet him tomorrow fills my stomach with butterflies.
Who even am I? This is all new to me, Ben was in a coma for the full eight hours I knew he was my mate. I was and still am a virgin, I wanted to be pure for my mate and after that day the only thing I wanted to do with anyone was kill them. So that small kiss was my first, I know how sad that makes me at twenty two and never kissed. I had bigger things to do.
He shifts and takes off, but not before he turns back to look at me, his wolf giving a small whimper in protest. Even though I have seen his wolf before it still takes my breath away, he is stunning and huge. Quickly stepping into the burn I wipe myself hoping Beta Gavin and whoever is with him doesn’t smell my arousal.
Gavin the large twat skids to a halt in front of me then shifts back to his human form and begins to look around. I watch him with a bored look on my face, two other wolves appear, both shift back to their human form.
“What?” I say as Gavin’s beady eyes land on me.
“There have been reports of a rogue’s on packlands, why are you out here at this time of night?” He asks, narrowing his eyes at me suspiciously.
I narrow my eyes at him, and place a hand on my hip, “What the fuck does that have to do with you?” I snap at this overgrown orangutan. My wolf growls in my head as he walks towards me.
“Who do you think you are talking to? I am the Beta of this pack, you need to show me respect” I burst out laughing and watch as the two warriors cover their own laughter.
“Respect, fuck off Gav. Go crawl back up Dylan's ass, half the time you can't tell where he starts and you finish” I say in between laughing. Gavin reaches out trying to grab me while growling. I step back, just out of reach.
“You don’t want to do that now do you Gav, I think we both know it won't end well for you” I watch as he takes heed of my warning, before growling in frustration.
“One day you will pay for this. Don’t think I won't be telling the Alpha about your disrespect” He spits in my face, his breath fanning my face as spittle sprays over me, but even then I smile at him.
“He ante my fucking Alpha, and tell him what the fuck you want you giant ass snitch” I say with a smirk before shifting into my wolf and taking off back towards the barricks. I hear a slight chuckle from the two warriors who both nod their respect.
I smile to myself at this, you see the younger warriors train with me, run patrol with me so when it comes to most things the side with me. Well except against the Alpha and Beta, they see the punishment I get put through so I don’t mind that they do as told by them. Their wolves follow hierarchy and chain of command by instinct.
Once you see a public punishment like I have had many times over the last four years, you don’t want to be subjected to the same. Being tied to the post in the town centre and whipped in front of the whole pack definitely sends a message to everyone else.
I would smile the whole time even though I was screaming in agony in my head there was no way I would give them the satisfaction of hearing me. No, I would break in private as the wolfsbane that they dip the cat of nine tails whip in before starting, making sure my back heals slowly, stopping our advanced healing and leaving my back full of scars for all to see as a warning.
They had the exact opposite effect as I wear them as battle scars, a reminder to myself of the pain my parents went through and the revenge I will lay down upon those who are responsible for their deaths.
Arriving at the barracks in no time as my wolf is fast, very fast and agile. She has no need to wait for the others. All I wanted is to shower and get some sleep, even though I am half expecting the ponce of an Alpha and his sidekick Beta to turn up, but they don’t.
That night I fell asleep with no hassle or alcohol, just thoughts of the rogue Alpha the Goddess had given me as a second chance mate. Soon my happy place changes shape and I am back in the morchary with my parents' bodies laid out in front of me. My mother’s eyes shoot open, making me step back and gasp in shock.
She grabs my hand, saying something but I couldn't understand so I lean a little closer “Things aren't as they seem, don't trust any of them, look into the Opal Moon wolves” She says just above a whisper. Before I sat up gasping for air soaked in sweat; Well that was new, I think as I look at the window realising it's still dark outside.
I snuggle back down as my mind starts to play over and over my mothers words of warning, and who were the Opal Moon wolves? And why do I need to search for them?
Hey, I hope your enjoying our story of Enyo:) Thank you for reading MM xx
Alpha Enyo BurnsideI have just lifted the baby from Fran’s back, his little squishy face all pink from crying. His little mouth looking for his next meal, I can’t help laughing as I hand him back.“Sorry little Beta, but aunt Enyo doesn't have anything to offer in that department” I say as Fran and Peony laugh. There is a commission outside. I turn to look at Clay, he sighs and asks. “If I asked you to stay here would you?” I scoff and cross my arms, right then I catch his scent. Dylan, but what the hell is he doing on my land?Clay shakes his head with a smile, he takes my hand and tells the ladies to keep Harriet with them. We get to the front of the hospital where three guards are blocking his way. We stop at the top steps, Dylan stops arguing with the men in his way. His eyes light up the minute they land on me.“Enyo, please, I need to speak to you” I don’t move, don’t speak, just stare blankly at him. Exhaustion seems to hit me as I look at him. “What do you want that couldn’
Alpha Clayton BlackridgeIt was light by the time we got back, Enyo hadn’t said a word but I could feel her anxiety as we ran on our paws. She needed to get home to Harriet, the girl we seem to have adopted without even realising we had. The pack was buzzing with activity and it didn’t take long for Harriet to find us. Her little voice screams our names. She had collided with our legs before we even noticed her. My mate scooped her up, checking her over like a proper mother would.“You came back” Harriet says as she hugs Enyo to her. Enyo laughs, brushing the little girl's hair over her shoulder.“Of course we came back, we told you we would” Harriet turns to look at me, her big eyes sparkling.“Clayton, did you get the bad guys?” The innocence makes us all laugh. “Sure did, poppet” I say as I ruffle her hair. She giggles, swatting my hands away. I turn in time to notice that Ivy is on her own, I search but can’t seem to see her sister. Noticing my searching Harriet leans into me
Alpha Enyo BurnsideThe fury running through me is fueling my moon energy. The minute I killed the guard that had Harriet I knew I was going to kill him. I mocked the old man but the Omega comment is what does it, I smirk.‘Get the two witches, I’ll handle this prick. Keep trying the pack-link’ I tell whoever is listening. He shifts into a huge brown wolf, I smirk and shift. My wolf may be smaller but her strength and power far exceeds that of an Alpha wolf. There is definitely something off about his wolf, the minute I launch at him I am thrown back; a forcefield is protecting him. I look at the witches they are so concentrated on chanting for this piece of shit they don’t notice both wolves making their way to them. They both launch at them, a blood curling scream comes as Clayton wraps his large jaw around the first one. Hadeon’s wolf stumbles as her connection is broken. I launch myself at him this time I can land a swipe of my paw but it hardly touches him. I circle him, keeping
Alpha Clayton BlackridgeThe energy pulsing off my little mate is incredible, every wolf is bowing to her and she hasn’t even noticed. She fights like a goddess, smooth and with the elegance you don’t normally see on the battlefield.I watch from the corner of my eye as Dylan’s wolf never retaliates and the minute other wolves attempt to attack her he attacks them. I want to hate him but right now as I fight back to back with Gavin I am glad he is there for her.The minute Trent returns he seems to pick up on what's going on and jumps to protect his Luna just like a good Beta should. I watch as she drops to her knees the minute the second packlink breaks. I can feel her overwhelming grief that this is her fault. She shifts back and he mocks her, calling her a bleeding heart like her mother and grandmother before her.I watch in awe as she lifts her hands palm up and pulls in the energy from the moon. I smirk to myself, this is something I have seen her do before and what a sight these
Alpha Enyo Burnside ‘Keep calm, this is good, this is what our people need to get into position’ I tell Clay over the mind-link. I can feel his rage at Dylan's wolf circling me like I am his prey. This is what we wanted, I spotted Gavin's brown wolf exactly where he said he would be behind Dylan. The voices that come over to tell us that our teams are in position is like honey to a bee. My mate tilts his huge gun metal grey head back and howls to the moon Goddess telling our team to start. Dylan’s wolf growls, dropping to a fighting stance the minute Clay howls. I don’t give him a chance to attack my mate. I leap at him, biting into his left shoulder ripping the flesh from it and spitting it out. It howls in pain but refuses to attack me. This pisses me off so I launch myself at him again, I land on his back. He starts to flip trying to get me off but I sink my claws in even deeper. I spot Clay in a fight with two of Dylan’s warriors but I am not bothered as they are no match for
Alpha Clayton BlackridgeNews came late last night from Gavin, they are planning to attack tonight. So we have been up since the crack of dawn moving the vulnerable to our underground shelter. Harriet has been clinging to Enyo all morning refusing to go with the sisters to the shelter. Every time the tears fall my mate is torn apart with guilt. I had to step in and explain to the six year old that the only way we could fight and win was if we knew she was safe.So eventually after two hours of crying and pleading we finally got her to the shelter with Fran and the baby. Poor Fran was already stressed about her mate being apart from her and their son without a crying child adding to it but like the real Beta female she did her duty and took charge of the shelter. Enyo has been working non stop for an hour going over different groups of warriors and each one's task. She is a true leader, you can tell she was bought up by warrior parents. She spoke quietly to the more nervous of our wa
Clayton BlackridgeTrent is still laughing when we reach his and Fran’s cabin, I can’t help but shake my head at him with a smirk on my face. Fran is in the kitchen part of the cabin when we arrive and the smell of home baking makes my stomach grumble, making Fran chuckle as she comes out of the kit
Enyo BurnsideSomeone has been watching me or have they been watching my parents as well. I pull open my door and start to investigate my whole house, the only other camera found was on my front door and that one has a motion detector. My blood is boiling with rage, who and why would anyone be watc
Alpha Clayton Blackridge (MATE!)Trent and I had been running the line for just over an hour when her scent finally hit me. I slow as I spot her silver fur in the moonlight just up ahead. ‘She’s here’ I tell Trent through the mind-link as we are both in wolf form. ‘I’ll not be too far if you need m
Enyo Burnside (Too late to turn back)The minute I yank my arm free from the prick I shift, that’s when my wolf senses him. I could feel his eyes on me, it both sent a thrill through me and fear. My wolf whimpers as I make her turn away from him, and if I'm honest my heart squeezes tight enough to
