LOGINCHAPTER TWO
DENNIS' POV
The man had long dark hair that was gathered into a tight knot right at the back of his graceful neck.
There was also steel blue eyes that looked almost silver under the dim lights.
He had a sharp aristocratic nose and a strong chiselled jaw.
His suit fit him perfectly, cloning to a body that men would sell their soul for.
He looked like a tall, dark and handsome Greek god, sent to me here.
Something roared to life inside of me, primal and a little bit hot.
Whatever heat I was feeling travelled downwards towards my groin.
I squeezed my legs together as I smiled a bit welcoming at him.
My eyes scanned the body that belonged more on a magazine cover than this bar.
My Adams apple bobbed slightly as I gently swallowed something in my throat.
Something non-existent.
“Why not?” I muttered.
I motioned to the bartender. “Another whiskey, and one for him too.”
He slipped onto the stool next to me.
I noticed that he had as moving with a kind of confidence that wasn’t loud.
It was a heavy kind that instantly filled every of the space sitting between us.
When our eyes locked again, the air was charged with a certain tension.
My heart began to adamantly palpitate as if it was racing against time in my chest.
The whiskey came.
I noticed the man's eyes sitting on me, sharp and intense as I drank.
“What’s troubling you?” he asked in a voice that was smooth but not pushy.
I let out a bitter laugh.
"What me to trauma dump on you?" I asked him in a quiet voice.
He quirked a brow at me.
"Aren't you looking for a little roll on the night, heat between sheets?"
I saw him tense.
His stare intensified.
And we both just stared at each other while the centigrade went up rapidly.
Those steel blue orbs left me scorched with heat, almost writhing on the seat.
My dick began to harden.
Mayhap my night wouldn't be a boring one after the big, bad day I had had.
"Who said both can't come together?"
He spoke to me in a voice that was hoarse with something I recognized.
I grinned at him, pleased.
"Wait a minute, let me just get comfortable," he said.
I watched hot and bothered as he undid his cufflinks and pushed his sleeves up.
The gesture revealed lower arms that were smooth and lined with veins.
I looked up at his face just as he reached up and unknotted the tie in his neck.
I nearly muttered f*ck under my breath when he snagged two buttons open.
My jaw fell.
The top part of his smooth olive skinned chest came into my view.
Thick, masculine—my dick going from semi hard to diamond in seconds.
"Like what you see?" He hummed as he picked up his drink and sippe.
It took an entire lot to tear my eyes away from his magnificent sculptured body.
I turned to look down at my empty glass while I was swallowing softly.
My skin prickled with heat.
My blood was screaming in my ears as my heart rate insanely skyrocketed.
"So, you'll still tell me what bothers you pretty little boy?" He asked.
The soft yet stern tone of his voice washed over my skin and did things to me.
“My department is getting a new boss tomorrow," I began to say.
"And?" He called out, signalling to the bar man to get up more drinks.
My empty glass was filled.
"Well, I got disappointed at work."
I sniffed.
"I have been working towards a certain position for years."
I tuned to him.
"Well, now I just got told that some nobody is taking my shot at a promotion.”
He hmm-ed
“That... sounds rough,” he said.
He sounded like he meant it too, which only made me feel more worse.
“And I'm vexed because it's probably some clueless trust fund baby,” I spat.
The heat has already began to rise in my chest cause the alcohol kicked in.
“He perhaps doesn’t even know a thing about this job. And mayhap he's just riding on the coat of connections."
My voice rose slightly.
He fixed me a stare alongside an expression that was totally unreadable.
"He probably can’t even read a file, might be a fucking idiot, a total waste of space.”
He didn’t interrupt.
He didn’t laugh—tjough I had expected him to do so and call me silly for this.
But he didn't.
He just listened.
And those steel blue eyes locked on me like he wasn’t judging a word I said.
The longer I spoke with him, the more loose my tongue started to get.
Every insult rolled off as if I had been saving each of them for several years.
When I stopped, I realized the silence between us wasn’t awkward.
It was simply... charged?
His gaze had stayed on mine since, steady and unshaken with tension.
But there was something else behind this curious steel blue orbs.
It was something that caused me to stop talking and look at him, really look.
That something?
It was desire—hidden deep in those his mesmerizing gaze interwoven with lust.
My throat tightned.
My boner came back so fast that I had to press my thighs hard together.
The breath was sloteln from me when he leaned forward to stare at me.
I swallowed hard.
He reached for me, his hands grabbing my chin with all authority and possession.
I gasped at the touch—hot, firm and scorching, filling me with need.
I gaped, wondering how on earth he hadn't flinched from the mutual passion.
He inched closer and I really thought that he would draw me in and kiss me.
He didn't.
The music had changed into something low behind us, vibrating through the floor.
I felt pressed with need, uncomfortable as he just stared at me pointedly.
I needed a change.
I glanced at the crowd and then back at him.
“You dance?” My voice came out rough when I spoke.
He smirked.
It was faint but there.
“I do.”
Before I knew it, I was letting him lead me onto the dance floor.
The crowd pressed around us with bodies that moved in sync to the beat.
He placed a hand at my waist, firm but not demanding as he guided me closer.
I moved with him, awkward at first before then finding the rhythm.
The heat of his body seeped into mine as our movements grew slower.
The space between us gre smaller until it disappeared with us chest to chest.
He leaned down until his breath brushed my pina and a shiver ran down my spine.
The song kept changing from one to another but I didn’t notice.
My focus was on him—the way his hand tightened when I shifted.
I wws fixated by the way his gaze didn’t wander anywhere else but my face.
Suddenly, he halted.
We just gazed at each other with unspoken passion until the track ended.
We didn’t step apart right away.
I pulled back just enough to look at him.
His lips were close, too close to mine.
We went back to the counter with neither of us saying much.
My second whiskey was half gone before I spoke to him again.
“You know, you are a good listener,” I slurred with a hungry voice.
Not hungry for food.
Hungry for him.
He hmm-ed with a shrug.
“Maybe I just like hearing what you really think,” he replied.
I laughed under my breath. “Careful. I’ve got more where that came from.”
“Good,” he said simply.
That was it.
There was no judgment or fake sympathy but only that calm presence.
My chest tightened.
And before I could even talk myself out of it, I leaned in and kissed him.
His lips were softer than I expected and warm against mine.
He didn’t pull back.
He didn’t hesitate.
His hand came up to the back of my neck, drawing me deeper into it.
The taste of whiskey and the heat of him pressed against me—it all blurred until nothing else mattered.
For the first time that night, I stopped thinking about anything.
And I just kissed him like I wanted to forget everything else.
CHAPTER TWENTY FOURI should not have gotten into Dominic’s car after what happened in the boardroom that afternoon. We almost got caught. He had lied that he locked the door by mistake. And thankfully none of the members had asked any questions or stared at the both of us with suspicions. Yet my heart still raced every time I thought about those voices outside the door that almost found us. But when he offered me a ride, I said yes anyway. I slid into the passenger seat and closed the door. The inside of the car felt smaller than usual. We drove in silence for the first few minutes while I kept my eyes on the road ahead. Dominic did the same. The air between us felt thick with everything that we had not finished earlier—the penetration part. We were headed for the other branch of the company, and Dominic would oversee some of the work.My knee brushed against his as the car roughly turned at a corner, and neither of us even pulled away."You have been quiet," Dominic said finally

CHAPTER TWENTY THREEDOMINIC'S POVThe first meeting had just ended and we had about ten minutes left before the next one would start in the other boardroom just down the hall. Dennis left for there first while I was still wrapping up the first meeting. He had probably gone ahead to go and arrange the hall before I would arrive there for the next meeting.I headed for the boardroom which I knew would be empty this early with a visible tent sitting in my pants. After all that touching our thighs and fingers had done under the table at the boardroom? Well it should be.I needed to fuck Dennis soon. The door to the boardroom was left slightly open by him while he simply prepped everything needed. He must have heard my footsteps as I was coming because he looked back to find me grinning at him.“Hi,” I said before I closed the door softly but fully behind my back. The lock clicked into place. “Dominic.” His eyes rolled in their sockets.Dennis stopped moving near the long table and hi
CHAPTER TWENTY TWO DENNIS' POVThings had moved faster between us than I could keep up with ever since that fateful night when we had fucked hard at my apartment. We did not talk about feelings or boundaries after that night when I had let myself have what I needed from him in a drunken slip up that I did not and could not even regret. And the both of us just gave into the need every chance we got. Every. Single. Time.My phone buzzed on my work desk and brought me back to reality. I reached for it after the screen lit up and swiped it open. The sender was Dominic. I checked the text.[Dominic: Come to my office right away.]There was something about the way the order in the text was written that made my cock to harden instantly in my pants just from simply reading it.My brain immediately started to convince myself that he was texting me to come over there for work. Nothing more. That was what I told myself all the way down the corridor to his office. And I stood outside the d
CHAPTER TWENTY ONE DOMINIC'S POVWhen he had started to be touchy, I knew right then that I should’ve just turnes around and left the room. Yet I had remained till is hands had touched my cock, his mouth even swallowing me with wet sound.I had stayed until we were far gone in this situation I let myself be put in.Dennis had just pulled me down onto the bed with him. And I did not even fight it—our hot, needy bodies easily hitting the mattress together. His arms wrapped around my neck like he never planned to let go."Dominic, you said you would fuck me properly," Dennis whispered with his mouth against my lips. His breath was coming fast. "You agreed. You said there would be no more games. Do it."I tried to pull back a little. But, his legs had moved and was now locked around my waist. "Dennis, you are drunk,” I started to say. “We should slow down."He tilted his head.“Maybe,” I added. He laughed softly."I am not that drunk, you know?" he answered as his eyes looked strai
CHAPTER TWENTYDENNIS’ POVThe car was moving.I wasn't even entirely sure when I had gotten into it at all, but I was aware of the soft seat beneath me.Through the window, I saw the soft lights of the city sliding past, my nose pressed tightly to the glass. And the other thing I was aware of was Dominic's hand which was just resting there on my left thigh as if it actually belonged right there. I turned my head toward him.The motion took slightly more effort than it should have for me because I was more than tipsy now."Where are we going?" I asked him in a soft drawl. He raised his head from the phone in his hands and simply glanced right at me."Your apartment," he said. I nodded like that made complete sense to me and turned back to the window. Both of us simply sat in the silence of the car, and the quiet scenario didn't even feel a bit uncomfortable. At least, to me.The excess wine I had previously drunk had taken the sharp edges that came with things off everything. And ne
CHAPTER SEVENDENNIS' POVThe call went dead with a ting sound.I stared at the floor, shaking. What did I do to deserve everything going wrong with me? Did I kill someone in my last life?"Troubles," Dominic whispered. When I looked up, he shook his head at me with his eyes full of pity. And I ba
CHAPTER FOURDENNIS' POVThe spot next to me in bed was empty when I woke up the next day.The man from last night was gone. The sheets were messed up. They still felt warm.It hadn't been long he left.I stayed there for a second, just looking up at the ceiling with a slight headache.I was tryin
CHAPTER THREE DENNIS' POVI could feel his heartbeat against my chest when we finally pulled apart.I was breathless."I have a room," he said.My eyes widened.“Let’s get out of here,” he whispered softly against my lips as I nodded.“Yeah,” I agreed. We left the bar together and he guided me tow
CHAPTER ONEDENNIS' POVThe bar was louder than I had expected when I stumbled through the doors. The sound of the loud music caused my heart to thump against my chest.I stood at the entrance and watched as the lights flashed over the crowd.People were laughing, shouting and clinking their glass
