"I'll chain you," he said, his words hanging ominously in the air.

Adhira flinched, the weight of his statement settling like a dull ache in her stomach. She forced herself to look away, unwilling to meet his intense gaze.

"You can overpower me easily," she said quietly, her voice steady but subdued. "Either in strength or speed. I’m not foolish enough to run when the odds are against me. I’ll run when it’s advantageous to me."

Her words carried an edge of defiance, though her body lang

Hi. I see so may readers are interested in this book and commented quite a lot. All i can say is sorry right now. And some readers even lashed out at me. I don't blame them though. This book updates are really slow. And that's simply because no one was interested in this book before and no one encouraged it or even commented it until last three chapters. While my other book has so much demand I have to concentrate on it. So I'm sorry for that. After April 16 I will try to update both the books simultaneously. I have my mom health to take care of and my exams too. So wait a little more

  • Her Deceiver    Note

Hi everyone. I might have put you in so much wait. But here is the thing. In the month of February i got to know my mother is suffering from ulcers. I don't exactly know how the treatment will be but they Said it is severe and just said my mom is lucky enough to escape surgery. That put me at ease and they told is to take so much care. I've stopped going to college and my grandmother came to take care of her and we are taking care of her. Suddenly they began yo talk about my marriage which I despise a lot because first thing I hate marriage and second I'm still jobless. When it went out of hand I snapped which led Mr to know that she is suffering from cancer. Stage 4 stomach cancer. But there is still hope. I got to know in the month of mid April. My mind just blew off. Everything fell apart. I planned to convince my mom about me staying unmarried throughout life and roam around the world. But right now my marriage is the only assurance for her. They are going to get mar

"Lovely,” I muttered bitterly. “You unchain the dog for a walk, buy her a shiny collar, and drag her back to the kennel.” I met his eyes in the mirror, venom in my voice. “Except dogs get fresh air. I get bars with curtains.”His jaw clenched. His hands curled into fists at his sides. The storm behind his eyes began to rise. And I remembered—*this* was the calm before the gunfire. Before orders were given with no expression, just consequences.“We had a peaceful evening, Adhri,” he said, voice flat, sharp as a scalpel. “Don’t ruin the atmosphere.”The dismissal in his tone lit a fuse inside me. Tears pooled in my eyes from fury and helplessness. I gripped the pendant.“I don’t want this,” I snapped. “It’s ugly.”“You’ll wear it.”No emotion. Just a fact. A law.I tore it off. The chain snapped, the sound loud and sharp in the silence between us.That did it.He moved.“Enough.”His hand wrapped around my forearm, steel under skin, dragging me to my feet. I cried out, struggling, bu

This,” he said. “I asked them to bring a piece of jewelry that resembled your eyes.”My eyes blinked rapidly. I didn’t want to react, but I felt the flush bloom across my face. His gaze dropped, then lifted again, softer now.Maybe I should’ve asked for something closer to your *glaring* eyes—wild fire trapped in amber. But then again… maybe something for your *soft* eyes, too. The ones that burn low and warm. That spread heat without even trying.”I turned away and inhaled like I needed it to stay upright. Falling for this again would be a tragedy I wrote myself into—deliberately. He was the man who whispered lies like lullabies and carved silence like truth. And still… my hands trembled.I hated that.I gritted my teeth against the familiar ache in my chest. His hand moved toward mine—not sudden, not loud. Just a quiet claim. Fingers brushed my skin before curling around it, possessive, yet deceptively gentle.I flinched. Tried to tug away. His grip tightened—quiet steel."Let this

He brought me to a photo library. Not just any collection of memories—but a *legacy* preserved in gold-framed reverence. The air itself felt heavier here, as if the walls were holding their breath. Sepia-toned photographs stared down at me, silent sentinels from the past. Men in stiff military uniforms. Medals glinting on broad chests. Eyes filled with iron and fire. It wasn’t just a room of remembrance—it was a gallery of dominance. Of lineage. Of bloodlines sharpened into blades. He stood beside me, silent for a while, then spoke—his voice low, steady, as if reciting something sacred. “It became a tradition,” he said. “Almost a sacred duty. Every man in the family chose the same path. Military. Discipline. Sacrifice. Until one of us broke it.” I turned to him slowly. His eyes were on a particular photo. A man, younger than the rest, with softer features—still holding tension in his stance, but not the same pride. “He was the most different of all,” he murmured. “Didn’t pass ce

She stayed silent angry tears forming as she glared at him with blurry vision. "I'll pull them really hard if the answer and your behavior isn't going to be in my favour Adhira. So you better tell me what i want". She gritted her teeth and just when she felt pulling them she hurried. "I will. I will". She exclaimed. He left her nipples as he smoothened them massaging them with the thumb of his pad as she shuddered umder him. She folded her lips in to give him any kind of sound. Her legs clenched tightly hoping he wouldn’t find that subtle movement. All of a sudden he slapped her breasts again. "You will what? Complete it". He again took a hold of her nipples to put her on leash and tug them when she wouldn't listen. Her hands fumbled with his hands afraid he is going to do the sane again. "I said I will. Isnt that enough". He pinched her nipples again and twisted them earning another cry from her. "Not enough. Tell me you will what "? "I will listen to you,

  • Her Deceiver    Chapter 37

The late morning light filtered softly through the sheer curtains as she stirred in his arms. Carefully, she slid his hand off her waist, trying not to wake him. But the moment her skin left his, his eyes fluttered open, watching her silently as she slipped into the washroom without a word. She didn’t return until more than an hour had passed. Her steps were slow, hesitant, as though she were delaying the inevitable. She wore a crimson-red frock that brushed her mid-ankles, her hair still wet and clinging to her skin. She hadn’t bothered with makeup or jewelry. Dolling herself up didn’t feel necessary anymore. With a heavy sigh, she lay back on the bed, her damp hair fanning out beneath her head. He, who had just been adjusting his wristwatch, paused. Sliding the timepiece off his wrist, he placed it quietly on the dressing table, his gaze fixed on her. She had taken longer than expected—intentionally, perhaps. He could’ve used the same washroom, could’ve barged in, but chose not to.

After two days ......She sat on the dining chair with her folded legs near the dining table with the syrup placed in front of her while he stood exactly opposite to her with his hands folded putting all his weight on his one lead as he was looking at her with his pinning gaze. Her thigh was moving u

His brows scrunched as he unwound his arm from her waist and put it on her shoulder bringing her close to him. "Come on. It's not a big thing". "But things are becoming strange Andrey. Maybe you can't notice it because you don't do household work here. But I do and I can sense it". Her voice was a l

"Nope. My priority surpasses my fear. And my priority is you". She blinked her eyes twice and bent forward resting her forehead head on his and her nose touching his as she sighed silently losing herself in him, mingling his hands with his. Their eyes stared at each other for a long time before she

  • Her Deceiver    Chapter 12

The pressed shirt lay on the bed softly and the fan was on high while the iron box still stood on the table while the water rushing sound resounded in the room. Not long the man came out wrapped in a towel on his lower waist with a black Phoenix tattoo shining on his back. Ruffling his hair he stare
