Daniel’s POV

I watch as Serena storms off, her heels clicking slowly against the pavement, her silhouette swallowed by the night.

My heart pounded, not with anger, but with something far more dangerous - fascination.

Her words echoed in my head: “The only thing I regret is ever letting you near me.”

That fire, that strong confidence, it was like a drug coursing through my veins.

No one had ever rejected me like that. Ever.

Women fell at my feet, eager to please me like little puppies, but Serena?

She looked me in the face and rejected my offer - my power, my money, my protection - and walked away like I was nothing.

It was fascinating. It was intoxicating.

It feels like a challenge now and I'll do anything to have her now, to break that stubborn spirit and make her mine.

I leaned back in the leather seat of my Bentley, my fingers drumming against my thigh, her jasmine scent still lingering in the air.

My body ached with the memory of her pressed against me in the club’s VIP, the taste of her lips, the way her breath hitched when I kissed her.

She’d wanted it, even if she wouldn’t admit it.

I felt it in the way her body responded, betraying her brave act. But she’d walked away, leaving me hard and restless, my ego bruised and my desire burning hotter than ever.

“Find out who those men were,” I said, my voice low, directed at my driver, Henryson. “The ones chasing her. I want names, debts, everything. Dig deep.”

“Yes, sir,” Henryson replied, his eyes flicking to the rearview mirror before returning to the road. He knew better than to question me.

I stared out the window, the city lights blurring past, my mind racing.

Serena was a puzzle, a challenge I hadn’t anticipated.

She wasn’t just another conquest; she is a desire.

My desire.

I'll settle her debts with those thugs, make her see she needs me. But for now, the hunger she has ignited in me needs to be calm, something to dull the edge of my frustration.

As we cruised down the neon-lit street, my gaze landed on three women walking towards a bar, their loud laughter cutting through the night.

They were stunning - long legs, tight dresses hugging every curve, radiating under the streetlights.

One had fiery red hair cascading over her shoulders, another’s dark skin gleamed under the glow, and the third, a blonde, moved with seduction that promised trouble.

They were exactly what I needed to distract myself from Serena’s rejection.

“Stop the car,” I ordered, my voice sharp suddenly. Henryson pulled over smoothly, and I leaned forward, my eyes locked on the trio. “Go get them. Bring them to me.”

He nodded and stepped out without a word.

I watched as he approached the women, his broad frame and tailored suit commanding attention.

They turned, their laughter pausing as he spoke, gesturing towards the car.

The redhead tilted her head, intrigued, while the blonde whispered something to her friends, as a sly smile spread across her lips.

Moments later, Henryson returned, opening the back door as the three women sauntered over, their heels clicking in unison.

They slid into the car, their perfumes mingling - sweet, musky, intoxicating.

The redhead sat closest, her thigh brushing mine, deliberate and bold. The blonde settled in next, her eyes scanning me with shameless interest, while the third, with her dark, flawless skin, leaned back, her lips parted in a knowing smirk.

“Well, well,” the blonde purred, her voice dripping with honey. “Didn’t expect to see you tonight, Daniel Hawthorne.”

Her fingers trailed along the edge of her dress, drawing attention to her plunging neckline.

I smirked, leaning back, my gaze raking over her breasts.

They knew who I was - everyone in this city did.

My reputation preceded me, and they were already hooked. “Surprised?” I asked, my tone low, teasing. “I saw something I wanted. So here we are.”

The redhead laughed, making a throaty sound that sent a jolt through me.

“Oh, we’re more than happy to keep you company,” she said, her hand resting on my knee, her nails grazing my thigh through my trousers. “What’s the plan, handsome?”

“Drive,” I told Henryson, my eyes never leaving the women.

The car hummed to life, riding towards my mansion on the outskirts of the city.

I didn’t need to explain what I wanted - they already knew. The air in the car soon thickened with smokes and drinks, their giggles and laughter filling the space as they shifted closer.

The blonde moved first, bold and unapologetic.

As her fingers found the zipper of my trousers, undoing it with a practiced ease.

“Let’s see what we’re working with,” she murmured, her breath warm against my ear as she leaned in.

My pulse quickened, heat surging through me as she freed me, her hand wrapping around my cock as I groaned.

The redhead watched, her lips parting as she licked them, her eyes gleaming with hunger.

“Fuck,” I muttered, my head tipping back as the blonde’s mouth replaced her hand, hot and eager.

She sucked my cock with a skill that was almost mechanical, but it didn’t matter.

The sensation was electric, a temporary escape from the fire Serena had lit.

The redhead slid closer, her hands roaming my chest, unbuttoning my shirt to press her lips against my collarbone.

Her tongue flicked out, tasting my skin, while the third dark woman leaned in, her fingers tangling in my hair as she kissed my neck, her teeth grazing just enough to make me hiss.

The car hummed along, with the city lights fading as we neared my estate.

Their hands and mouths were everywhere, a blur of heat and pleasure, their giggles mixing with my low groans.

The redhead’s dress rode up, revealing a glimpse of breasts, and I pulled her closer as she unzipped her dress. She gasped as I gripped her hips, her body grinding against me, the friction driving me wild as I sucked on her breast hard.

The blonde didn’t stop, her mouth relentless, while the third woman whispered filthy promises in my ear, her voice a sultry purr.

It was chaos, raw and unrestrained, their bodies pressed against me, their scents overwhelming.

But even as I lost myself in them, Serena’s face flashed in my mind - her defiant eyes, her sharp words. These women were a distraction, a release, but they weren’t her.

They didn’t have her fire, her resistance, the way she made my blood sing with just a glance.

I pushed the thought away, focusing on the redhead’s boobs, the blonde’s mouth, the dark-skinned beauty’s hands, but it wasn’t enough. Not really.

We pulled up to my mansion, the gates opening silently as Henryson drove through.

The women barely noticed, too caught up in their game, our bodies filling the car.

As we stopped, I pulled the redhead closer, kissing her hard, tasting the sweetness of her lip gloss.

She moaned into my mouth, her body arching against mine.

“Inside,” I said, my voice rough as I disentangled myself from them.

They giggled, straightening their dresses, their eyes gleaming with excitement as Henryson opened the door. They stepped out, their heels clicking on the marble driveway, already whispering about the night ahead.

I followed, adjusting my trousers, my mind still half on Serena. I’d have her, one way or another. She could run, but I’d find her. I always got what I wanted.

As we stepped into the mansion, the blonde turned, her smile wicked. “So, Daniel,” she said, her voice teasing, “what’s a man like you chasing tonight?”

I smirked, my eyes dark with intent. “Something I don't have yet,” I said, my voice low. “But I will.”

VANESSA'S POVThe elevator doors slid shut behind me, and the moment they did, I let the mask drop.My shoulders caved first. Then the careful set of my jaw, the practiced coolness behind my eyes, all of it crumbled the second the mirrored walls closed me in. I stared at my own reflection and barely recognized the woman looking back. My lips are still perfect. My lashes still curled. The red dress is still doing exactly what red dresses were designed to do.But underneath all of it?It's a Wreckage.I pressed two fingers against my temple and closed my eyes. The lobby numbers ticked down above the doors. Thirty-two. Thirty-one. Thirty. She's going to be a problem. That thought had started as a whisper the moment Daniel's little houseguest was in the room. I had expected someone temporary. Someone who was just for the time being, the kind of woman men like Daniel kept around when he felt stuck. I had not expected the quiet steadiness in her eyes. The way she hadn't flinched. She hadn't

  • His Forbidden Mistress   Chapter 90

Serena's POVThe bedroom door had barely closed behind me before my legs gave out their confidence.I sat on the edge of the bed, as my hands folded in my lap, staring at nothing. Lila sat beside me without a word. That was one of the things I had always loved about her. She never rushed in with noise when silence was what was needed. She simply sat, her shoulder warm against mine, and let the moment breathe."You okay?" she asked finally, her voice soft."I don't know." I said honestly. I pressed my fingers together and looked down at them. "Who was she, Lila? The way she looked at me–" I paused, searching for the right word. "It wasn't just dislike. It was something personal. Like I had taken something that belonged to her."Lila was quiet for a moment. "Lila.""I don't know the full story," she said carefully. "But I think she's an ex. The tension between them was crazy." She reached over and squeezed my hand once. "But it shouldn't bother you. Daniel has his eyes on you." I want

  • His Forbidden Mistress   Chapter 89

Daniel's POVThe study door clicked shut behind us, sending a heavy sound that seemed to echo the storm raging inside my chest. Vanessa stood in the middle of the room, her designer heels striking the hardwood once as she faced me. The dim lighting carved sharp shadows across her face, catching the sharp line of her jaw, the calculating light in her eyes. She was still beautiful but whatever spell that beauty had once cast over me had burned itself out a long time ago.I didn't have time for this. Not today. Serena was downstairs with Elena and Lila. My entire world felt shaky now and the last thing I needed was Vanessa's chaos thrown into the middle of it."What the hell are you doing here?" I demanded, my voice low and cold, stripped of every courtesy I might have once offered her. "I told you we were done. I sent you money. That was the end of it. There is nothing left between us."She didn't answer with words.Instead, she moved. Two steps. It was deliberate and quick, closing the

  • His Forbidden Mistress   Chapter 88

Serena’s POVI woke up slowly, as the soft morning light creeped through the curtains of my bedroom. My body felt deliciously sore in all the right places, a reminder of the passionate night we had shared. As my eyes opened slowly, I found Daniel already awake, already propped up on one elbow, staring at me with an intensity that made my heart skip a beat. His dark eyes were fixed on my face, as if he had been watching me sleep for hours. A small, sleepy smile tugged at my lips. “You have to stop staring at me when I’m sleeping,” I murmured slowly, my voice still husky from sleep. “Isn't it cute?” He asked.“It’s creepy, Daniel.” I replied smiling. He didn’t smile back immediately.Instead, his gaze darkened with that familiar possessive hunger. “I can’t stop,” he said, his voice low and rough. “You look so peaceful. I could watch you forever.”Before I could tease him further, he leaned down and captured my mouth in a deep, hungry kiss. The kiss started slow but quickly turned heated

  • His Forbidden Mistress   Chapter 87

Daniel’s POVI left Elena in the living room with a quiet good night, my footsteps echoing down the hallway as I walked away. She had tried to keep the conversation going, but I needed space. My sister’s sudden return had stirred up too many old memories right from the day our mother left, the cold boarding school she was sent to, the lonely mansion grandmother raised me in. Elena had spent years trying to rebuild what was broken, reaching out again and again, while I pushed her away every single time. I told myself it was protection. That keeping her at a distance meant keeping her safe from my world. But tonight, watching her laugh with Serena and Lila, something inside me cracked. I cared about her. Deeply. More than I ever let myself admit. But I couldn’t tell her that. Not yet.She is going torture me with it for the tight of my life.As I walked toward my room, my mind kept circling back to what she had said about being engaged. Engaged. The word sounded funny and strange to m

Elena's POVBy the time we finally returned to the penthouse, my feet were killing me.The shopping bags hanging from my arms felt twice as heavy as they had at the mall, and every muscle in my body ached from hours of walking. But somehow, I still couldn't stop smiling. The entire day had been exactly what I needed. For the first time in weeks, I had forgotten about guest lists, wedding planners, venue disasters, and the endless pressure that seemed determined to crush the joy out of wedding preparations.Instead, I spent the day laughing with Serena and Lila. And they felt like my future family. The thought warmed my chest. As we stepped inside the penthouse, Serena immediately kicked off her shoes with a relieved groan."Oh thank God."Lila followed suit as she dropped into one of the couches dramatically."I swear if anyone asks me to walk another step today, I'm filing a lawsuit." She groaned as she rubbed her feet.I burst into laughter as I collapsed on the couch next to her."You

Serena’s POVDaniel’s mouth closed over my left nipple like a man possessed, sucking so hard and deep that a sharp cry tore from my throat.
