After what felt like forever, I slowly opened my eyes to see valerio holding Carlos hand which was inches away from my face

for the second time today I saw Carlos cower in fear, and when he noticed that I saw it he quickly composed himself and straightened up....

Valerio lunched at Carlos punching him

I watched in horror as valerio brushed Carlos down and started punching his face, Carlos tried desperately to fight back but he was no match for valerio... I know we've only been married for 24 hours but I never knew valerio could act this way .....

And oddly enough... it made my heart flutter.... this was the first time a man would ever defend me in this way

I snapped out of my thoughts to Carlo's mother and other family members and the lawyer, Carlos mother screaming and security guards rushing to break the fight.....

AND AS MY FIRST ORDER AS HEAD OF THE FAMILY ANYONE WHO EVER TRIES TO DISRESPECT MY WIFE WILL BE STRIPPED OFF THEIR INHERITANCE....

"what have you done valerio", said Carolina Carlos mother in a shaky voice, "how could you have done this to ur brother"

"he is your brother valerio, you should have treated him as such instead you treated him like thief that stole something from you, which is ironic since u were the one that stole his bride in the first place

And then he started approaching me......

I could feel my heart racing, unsure of what was about to happen next...

so I braced myself....

"Are you ok" said valerio in the most softest and kindest voice I have ever heard ...

I slowly opened my eyes to see him staring down at me his eyes filled with care and softness

"i-i-im fine" I said when I realized I was staring too much

"are u sure, because ur hands are bleeding" said valerio

I looked down at my hands for the first time and saw that I was indeed bleeding

oh... I-i didn't know I'm bleeding, I'm sure it's nothing......

c'mon said valerio carrying up in his arms, let's get you cleaned up

I felt my heart do a little jump as he carried me... suddenly feeling very self aware, I quickly looked around to see if anyone was still outside and I caught Carolina just in time give me a death glare
