last update publish date: 2023-06-09 05:45:59

Three years had passed, and Rose got pregnant by a Turkish man named Ferit Yildiz, one of her customers in the club. Among all her customers, Ferit was different because he promised her a good life.

She hoped the man would marry her and take her to Turkey, but when she was probably pregnant, he disappeared and never returned.

"Mother! Mother!" She shouted as she felt the sudden pain in her belly.

"What is it? The noise has reached the house next door..." She said as she approached Rose, who couldn't paint her face.

"It's about to come out.. Ah!!" It screamed, writhing in pain. "Wait... Shit! What am I going to do?" Her mother panicked and left the room. It dialed the phone quickly. "What?!" Alright.. I'm on my way." Daryl answered worriedly.

In less than 15 minutes, Daryl was in front of the house. "Man, just wait.." He said to the taxi driver and hurried inside.

"Mother! What is this animal doing here?" Rose complains when she sees Daryl. It's been two years since she ended her relationship with Daryl because she caught him with another woman and got pregnant.

"Calm down, Rose.." Daryl said as he carried her out of the room. Her mother followed and also hopped into the taxi.

"How can I calm down? You're an animal! I said I don't want to see you anymore! Your face is shameless!" Rose screamed out loud. Its face is irritated.

"That's right, just shout, so you don't feel the pain..." Daryl answered that the person next to the driver was next. "For God's sake, Maria Rose! Only one woman has tasted Daryl compared to you, who has already been with all men." Her mother mocked.

"Mother! You don't know anything, so don't interfere! Ah!!!!" She shouted again.

"Just hurry up, man, please. " Daryl said to the driver, sweating even though it was air-conditioned.

While Rose's mother sat, Daryl walked steadily. A few moments later, the nurse came out.

Daryl immediately entered with Rose's mother after giving them the signal. "Your baby is a girl, sir..." The nurse said with a smile, noticing that Daryl was just standing there and couldn't get close to what she thought was the father.

"He's not the father..." Rose corrected immediately. The nurse is ashamed and heads out of the room with the Doctor.

"Stop, Maria Rose. Where's the father?! Do you see anyone else besides Daryl?" Her mother is against it. She pushed harder.

"Get that shameless guy out of here, now. Thank you!" Her anger is apparent. Daryl backed away hesitantly. "I'll go first, Mother. Just call me again if you need anything." He was about to leave when her mother followed.

"Hey.. Daryl.."

"Yes? Mother," It immediately turned around. The woman closed the door. Daryl seemed shy and moved away from the room.

"What's the matter? Maybe you saved something there. It's just an additional payment to the hospital."

"Ah, yes, there is. It's good that you reminded me. Of course, there is. I've been saving it for a long time. It's really for Rose's labor."

He handed the old lady a thick roll of money. "Oh, you're different. You really love my daughter, don't you? So does that mean you're going to adopt my grandchild too?!" Its eyes speak clearly.

"I can do everything for Rose, Mother. You're right. I love her with all my heart. I was just really drunk and in a bad mood that night. I betrayed her with a random girl."

"Oh, you don't need to explain, Daryl. You're like a son to me. I know where your resentment toward my daughter comes from. Still, I hope you understand that she is responsible for us as her family." She patted Daryl's shoulder.

Six more years passed, and Daphne started school. Daphne is a happy and intelligent child.

Sometimes other kids like her because of her different eyes. Daphne inherited her Turkish father's green eyes.

Meanwhile, she became the target of the mothers' gossip. They said she was the daughter of one of her mother's customers.

That thing never left Daphne's mind until she was in grade 12. Rose returned to the club after giving birth to Daphne. While Daryl acted as a father to her, her mother's only brother also became an excellent uncle.

"Mom, the school year is almost coming. Won't you enroll me yet?"

"What school are you talking about? That's okay. You know how to read and write. It's good that you graduated from grade 12. Come to your senses. You have to start working."

"Mom. I want to continue until college."

"Alright, if you can provide for it. Oh, enough of this nonsense topic." Daphne was left feeling sad.

When Rose arrived at the club, she went straight to Mother Lili's office because Monique had said so.

"I'll be straight, Rose. Don't you have a daughter? Maybe it's possible." Rose's ears perked up immediately, and she instantly understood what the other person wanted to say, so she directly cut her off.

"No, Mother Lili. My daughter Daphne will find a decent job. She will not end up like me." Rose was against it presently. Her fists clenched on her thighs, shaking.

"Hold on... Finish me off first. I need an extra server. She won't be dancing or entertaining customers. What are you babbling? And by the way, your schedule changed. You may come to just every MWF..."

"And why is that??" Automatically came out of her mouth.

"Why, Rose? What do you think of yourself? Getting Younger? Hey, maybe you don't know that your sweetness is running out, too. There are many younger people than you out there, and almost no one wants to date you. I'll only lose money if you keep coming in daily." Rose did nothing about Mother Lili's decision.

When the night was over, she talked to Daphne about the job offer at the bar and about saving money to continue college. "Why are you making your daughter work at the club, Rose?!" Daryl disagreed.

"And who are you to talk to? I'm the mother, so I'm the one to decide."

"It's okay, Father. Another thing, Mother is right, so that I can save for the next enrollment." Daphne's groin smile was strained. They are currently in the living room.

"That's why I can provide for you, kid..." Daryl spoke again. "Wow.. Why don't you focus on your real child, Daryl, and not interfere in my daughter's life!" Emphasizing it.

  • LOVE TRIANGLE   Chapter 60

Just as Cara’s hand flew up to slap me, I broke away from the kiss, breathless and trembling. Her hand froze in mid-air, her eyes wide with shock and fury, but I didn't back down. I locked my eyes onto hers and delivered my final word."You are mine, Cara. I will not stop until you remember how much you love me. I won't give up, I won't! Mark my words."The words echoed inside the cramped, suffocating space of the car. Cara’s hand slowly dropped back to her side, her chest heaving as she stared at me in disbelief. The wall she had built around herself was still there, but I had finally cracked it open, leaving her breathless and entirely unable to deny the fire still lingering between us. Without waiting for her to recover or reply, I shifted the car back into drive and pressed down on the gas, steering us back onto the road toward the house. The pieces of the tragic puzzle finally fell into place, revealing a truth far more painful than simple memory loss. Cara sat frozen agains

I slammed on the brakes, pulling the car abruptly to the shoulder of the road. The tires screeched slightly against the asphalt before the vehicle jolted to a complete stop. I threw the car into park and turned fully in my seat to focus entirely on Cara. The tears I had been desperately fighting back finally broke free, hot and heavy, blurring my vision. My heart was beating so fast and deep against my ribs it felt like it would burst. "No!" I cried out, my voice cracking under the weight of my desperation. "I won't ever give up on us! On you! You are the one I love, Cara. You alone. I know that now. I am so absolutely certain about that now!" Cara flinched slightly at the sudden movement, her eyes widening as she stared at me. Her expression was a painful mix of confusion and deeply rooted hesitation. I could see the stubborn wall of doubt in her eyes. Even with her fractured memory, she was still holding onto the painful belief that had torn us apart before the a

I stole a glance at her, the mention of Craig and the twins still hanging heavily in the air. The maddening silence returned, and the space between us felt wider than ever. I couldn’t bear the distance anymore. I needed to know she was still in there, that we were still connected. Keeping my left hand firmly on the steering wheel, I slowly extended my right hand across the center console. My fingers hovered for a second, trembling slightly, before I gently placed my hand palm-up on the armrest right next to her.It was a silent invitation. A quiet promise that I was within reach whenever she was ready. Cara didn't pull away. For a long, agonizing moment, she simply stared out the side window, her reflection captured in the glass. But then, her gaze drifted down to our hands. Slowly, hesitantly, she moved her hand. Her fingers brushed against mine first, a touch so light it made my breath catch. Then, she slid her hand completely into mine. Her grip was tight, almo

  • LOVE TRIANGLE   Chapter 57

""If you think I will simply yield to your declaration of love, you are mistaken, Daphne." Her words caught me completely off guard. I had not anticipated this level of resistance. "I have endured too many hardships," she continued, her voice trembling. "Everything I went through won't just vanish because of a single confession from you." A heavy wave of sadness washed over me, crushing my chest. Even though Cara had not explicitly said no, the weight of her words felt exactly like a rejection. Yet, looking at her, I knew I would do whatever it took to prove myself and earn her trust. I loved her too much to walk away. "I will wait for you, Cara," I said, looking directly into her eyes. "Even if it takes an eternity. The wait will be worth it, because it's you." A flicker of surprise crossed her face. Seeing that momentary crack in her defenses, I knew there was no turning back. God had granted us a second chance to love each other unreservedly, and I refused to waste it. "

"Can you give us a moment?" I asked Kazzy as I briefly interrupted the kiss with Cara. She followed. "And please lock the door for me." I chased after Kazzy before she could finally leave. Cara was about to turn her back on me, but I quickly grabbed her hand. "We're not done yet." "Done on what really?" Cara glared at me, but she couldn't scare me. Now that I dared to stand by my feelings for her. I pulled her back to our previous position. her lips on mine. I closed my eyes and pressed her in a deep kiss again. She tried to push me away, but she was obviously still weak. "Don't fight me anymore," and I held her tighter in my arms. "The hell are you thinking?" She managed to speak properly because my kiss went to her neck until it crawled down. "Fuck, Daphne!" she cursed, so I laughed. But I didn't stop. I continued. I wanna have sex with her right now. right here. I knew she had been awake for a long time, and she probably stopped Kazzy from telling me that

Daphne POV I desperately wanted to go home and finally see Cara. This time, I want to make things right and not lose her again. When the doctor said I could go out, Craig immediately booked the earliest tickets back to the country. I eagerly anticipate the chance to see and hold Cara in my arms. I plan to express my true feelings to her. This marks my unwavering commitment at this moment. The day I had been dreading finally arrived. Craig and I are now in the car with the twins, heading to the airport. "I can't deny your excitement, Daphne," I smiled at Craig's comment. "Thank you for taking care of me," and we remained silent for the entire trip. There wasn't a moment—an hour, a minute, a second—that Cara didn't cross my mind. I also didn't sleep on the plane until it landed in the Philippines. It's a good thing the twins behaved; there were no problems with them. "Can you look out for the twins?" I asked Craig when we arrived at the mansion, since we hadn't found
