LOGINI caught my fiancé balls-deep in my bridesmaid on our wedding day. So I fled to my little sister’s place to hide… and walked straight into a nightmare. There he was. Naked, dripping wet and still sexy as hell. My worst enemy and bully since I was six. The same Alpha who took my virginity at eighteen, marked me and then disappeared the next morning. Now Kaelen Steele is my sister’s “boyfriend.” Every day I watch him kiss her, touch her, act like the perfect man while he whispers filthy things to me when she’s not looking. My body remembers every second of that night twelve years ago, and my wolf is losing her damn mind. But when the cartel that killed my father comes sniffing around, I force my way into Kaelen’s security company to take them down. The problem? Working side by side with the man I hate most makes me wetter than I’ve been in years. And the closer we get to the truth, the harder it is to remember why I’m supposed to stay away from my sister’s boyfriend. He marked me once. This time, I might let him keep me.

Aurora's POV
Whoever came up with the idea of a big layered white dress for weddings didn’t do such a great job.
I swear, the thing was trying to murder me.
First I couldn’t get the stupid corset loose enough to pee, and then I kept stepping on the hem.
It was supposed to be the happiest day of my life, my wedding day. I was finally going to marry Sylvester Andrews, the guy I had loved since I was a kid.
But right now I was mostly just sweaty, frustrated, and ready to burn this dress.
“Aurora! You have to get out of the bathroom, you’ll ruin your makeup!” Kate called from outside the stall.
“I think this stupid dress wants to kill me!” I muttered, yanking the fabric down so I could finally breathe.
I stepped out and Kate arched her brow at me.
“It’s your wedding day. Stop swearing and get dressed. I’m sure Sylvester is already waiting at the altar for you and the whole pack is assembled.”
“Yeah, yeah,” I said, smiling despite everything.
Sylvester was everything I had ever wanted. I had waited twelve long years for him to finally pop the question, and today was the day. I was going to say yes to him in front of our entire werewolf pack.
This was my mother’s dress and I had promised her I would wear it.
The thought alone made me melancholic.
Mom had passed away five years ago from liver failure, and on her deathbed I made her a bunch of promises, including never joining the police force and wearing this ridiculous white dress on my wedding day.
I was still trying my best to keep them.
“Okay, sit down and let me fix your hair,” Kate said, pushing me onto the stool.
She tugged and pinned until I felt like I had a whole building on top of my head. When she was done, I looked in the mirror and had to admit I looked pretty.
My blonde hair was sleek and shiny, my full breasts were squeezed nicely into the dress, and my waist looked smaller than usual.
Still, being curvy wasn’t always easy. My hips and butt had a mind of their own no matter how much I tried to hide them.
“Alright, all done!” Kate chirped happily. “Come on, let's go. I heard Sylvester's father invited the Alpha and other pack elders. We can't keep them waiting!"
"Wait, where's Daphne?”
Kate blinked, "I guess your bridesmaid is running late, she should have been here with you.”
Daphne was my close friend and bridesmaid and I was hoping she'd show up on time. But well, I couldn't keep the pack waiting.
We were about to head out when my phone started ringing.
It was Gina, my little sister. She was supposed to be here but had to work in the neighboring pack as a coroner. I was still kinda mad at her for missing my big day, so I ignored the call.
“I'm allowed to be mad for a full week for this, I'm not done…”
I paused when I heard the loud ripping sound.
I looked down in horror and my dress had torn badly at my left thigh, showing the sheer lace underneath.
Kate’s jaw dropped.
“This is bad,” she whispered. “And it belonged to your mother!”
I cursed loudly and stomped my foot. I’d had enough of this dress. “Wait here, I’ll get scissors from the kitchen and cut it off,” I told her and marched off before she could stop me.
I pushed open the kitchen door, still muttering under my breath, when I heard the sounds.
“You’re so wet, Dee,” a deep masculine voice groaned. “I’m gonna cum inside.”
A woman moaned softly in reply and curious, I moved closer and pulled the curtain aside.
There he was, Sylvester Andrew, my groom, with his pants down, thrusting hard into Daphne, my bridesmaid and supposed friend.
Her ivory dress was bunched up around her waist and she was bent over the kitchen counter like it was nothing.
My whole world stopped.
“Oh fuck!” Sylvester swore when he finally noticed me standing there in my torn wedding dress like some horror movie character.
Daphne jerked away and tried to pull her dress down, but I could still see everything, the hickeys on her neck and her wet pussy.
“Why?” I managed to choke out. It was the only word I could get past the lump in my throat.
Sylvester shrugged casually. “Well, we didn’t want you to find out like this. Daphne and I are together.”
“Together?” I mumbled. “We’re getting married today, Sylvester. How could you do this to me?”
Daphne rolled her eyes. “Don’t be so dramatic, Aurora. Everyone knows Sylvester only wanted to marry you because your dead father was his father's best friend.”
I looked at Sylvester, hoping he would deny it, that he would apologize and say it was a mistake. For one stupid second I even thought about forgiving him. But he just shrugged.
“Let’s just get married, Aurora. Daphne and I can keep it private.”
That was it. My heart felt like it had been ripped out.
I yanked off the engagement ring and threw it at his face. “I’m done!”
“Aurora, don't bring shame to our families!" I heard Sylvester yell but I turned and ran back to the hotel room, tears pouring down my face.
Kate came rushing in with her sewing kit, but I was already throwing clothes into my suitcase.
“Aurora, I can fix this, I got needles.”
"No,” I snapped.
"What happened?” she asked.
I shook my head. “It doesn’t matter. The wedding is off.”
I grabbed my bag, left the bouquet on the bed, kicked off my heels, and walked out barefoot.
Sylvester was right. I didn’t want to cause a scandal for our families, so I kept quiet.
Outside, I caught the first taxi I saw and gave the driver the only place I knew I could hide quietly, my sister Gina’s address.
Although she couldn't attend my wedding due to her usual busy work assignments across town, I knew she'd be excited to have me for a few days until I could clear my head.
I couldn’t go home, that would be the first place Sylvester and the pack would look and everyone would want to know why I didn't show up for my own wedding.
Gina’s place was a few hours away and not many people knew about it. It was the only safe spot I could think of.
The whole ride I kept replaying everything in my head. Twelve years of loving Sylvester. All the promises, all the waiting and he was screwing my bridesmaid on our wedding day.
By the time the cab pulled up at Gina’s small condo, I was exhausted and numb. I wasn't sure of the address, but thankfully, I saw her green truck parked out front.
I grabbed my luggage and let myself in.
“Gina?” I called out, dropping my bags on the couch. “Gina, are you home?”
I heard a loud clang from the kitchen and walked over. “Gina, I’m sorry I dropped by without notice—”
I froze.
A tall naked man was standing in the kitchen with a towel casually thrown over his neck.
My eyes went straight to his huge cock, then up his sculpted chest, and finally to his face.
“Not again,” I gasped.
It was Kaelen Steele. My bully, arch nemesis and worst enemy since I was six years old and he called me ‘ugly duckling’ and threw me in a puddle.
He turned to me, wide eyed and stared for a full minute, his mouth opened in surprise, clearly as astonished as I was.
Then he took his sweet time, slowly pulling the towel from his neck and wrapping it around his waist, I could see his fingers shaking slightly.
"Little…duckling?" I heard him murmuring to himself in disbelief, still gawking at me.
“What are you doing here?!” I finally recovered my voice and screamed, “get out of my sister's house you oaf!"
He was still staring at me speechlessly and before he got over his surprise, I saw Gina rush out of the bedroom wearing a thin nightdress and wrapped her arms around his waist.
“Oh, Aurora,” she said, surprised. “What are you doing here?”
“What’s he doing here?” I muttered shakily.
Gina grinned brightly. “Oh, sister, meet my new boyfriend.”
I almost fainted. “Your what?"
Chapter 06Aurora's POV The next couple of days were awkward and problematic but kind of nice. I started working at Kaelen’s security company as a tracker and profiler. The pay was actually really good, and for the first time in a long time I felt like I had some kind of purpose. Kaelen was still his usual annoying self though. He kept calling me “little duckling” just to piss me off. He’d lean over my desk and make stupid comments about my typing or how I held my coffee. But he also listened when I gave him leads. It was annoying how good we worked together. That morning we got into the elevator together for a brief meeting and he wouldn't stop staring down my blouse and wrist where I hid the mating mark beneath lots of bracelets and long sleeves. “Stop staring at me,” I muttered. “Why do you always wear these ugly long sleeves, anyways? What are you hiding?" "That's not your business, stop staring!” “I’m not staring. I’m just wondering how someone so small can be so annoyin
Chapter 05 Aurora's POV I was about to get a job as a tracker. It was both a nightmare and a dream come true. Finally, I could start doing one thing I've always loved, catching bad guys. Cartel De Imperio was the rogue werewolf gang linked to my father's death years ago, finding them had been my obsession until my mother made me promise I wouldn't chase them on my own. Now, with Kaelen and his security firm, I would help bring them down and stop other wolves from getting hurt. But then, working with Kaelen didn't seem much like a sweet dream. It was a day after I'd gotten into a hotel and finally left Gina in her apartment with him. Kaelen insisted that he didn't promise me any job but I could come for the interview later today. But I knew I was good at what I did and maybe, just maybe, Gina would put in a good word for me too. After all, she was his girlfriend. The thought alone made me feel a lump in my throat. I was happy for my sister. Although she seemed a little unhap
Chapter 04Kaelen’s POVGina stood there staring at us with her mouth open. Aurora pulled away fast, her face flushed. “Gina,” she whispered softly, sounding like she was trying to hold back tears. “I…I need to get my things, I'm moving to a hotel, now.” She kept rambling, looking panicked and guilty that she'd been so close to me. No doubt she still thought I was Gina's boyfriend. Yeah, right. Boyfriend indeed, if only she knew of my temporary arrangement with Gina. Gina glanced at me curiously for a second and I rolled my eyes. Then she walked over and put her hand on Aurora’s shoulder. “Oh my god, Aurora, it’s okay. I know you're an emotional mess right now. You’ve been through so much with the wedding.” “No, I really can't stay at your place…it's inconvenient and…." "Aurora, you just got into town…” “Please!" Aurora insisted, finally wiping the tears off her face. “I have to leave." Watching her shivering and tear rolling down her face, I wanted to find that rogue wol
Chapter 03Aurora's POV What the hell was that? Why did I have that stupid dream? And why the heck was Kaelen standing there watching me? For a second, I actually wanted to cry in his strong arms and let him hold me but he was a douchebag and my sister's boyfriend. “What…what are you doing in my fucking room?!” I snapped at him. “You were screaming so loud in your sleep. I had to check if you were okay.” “I wasn’t!” I lied. “Then how come I heard you moaning my name?” he asked, “and why were your hands between your legs?” That was when I realized my legs were spread and I could feel the dampness on my thighs. He was right, I was soaking wet. I quickly closed them and jumped up. “Please leave…” But I didn't get to finish when he touched my face and murmured worriedly, "are you really okay, though? You feel feverish.” I was sweating alright, but my fever had nothing to do with my health but everything to do with that silly dream.Being so close to him now, I could feel t
