Dear readers,

And that’s the end of it. Unbelievable, I know. I didn’t want to write an author’s note until I was absolutely finished with this, and now I am.

The journey through telling the story of Hector and Layla has transformed me in ways I hadn’t thought possible—financially, mentally, creatively, etc. It has accompanied me through various stages of my life up till this point, where I find myself being a soon-to-be university graduate. I’ve connected with so many of you, and my relationship with writing and the power of storytelling in general is forever changed. I’ve grown, so much as a writer, and as a person.

I can’t lie: Writing this book straight up terrified me at times, but “by the goddess” I loved every moment of it. As to what comes next? Well, that’s simple. A new book—one you’ll you’ll no doubt love as much as you loved this one. You can find me on socials to keep up with updates and announcements.

And on that note, I say thank you, so so much. For coming along on Hector and Layla’s journey. For believing in me, and for giving me a chance. It’s been a long ride, but it will not be the last we hear of them. ;)
