Mag-log inMARK;
"Wait, Mark! Where are you rushing to? We want to have a little celebration party for winning against the Red Ballers now, and yet, you're in a hurry. Is there something you're hiding from us?" Daniel asked, moving forward to meet me. His gaze fixed on me coldly as he smirked. I didn't like how Daniel pointed out his questions, drawing the attention of our colleagues. "It's personal. And I do not need to tell you," I replied, my voice calm, my eyes meeting Daniel's gaze. He was angry because Olivia rejected his advance before he settled for Emily. How was that my fault? "Don't lie to us, Mark!" Daniel yelled, his eyes shooting daggers at me. "If at all you want to lie, you should have a little respect for Alpha Bryan!" "Let him go, Daniel. I have no interest in what Mark wants to do. And since he said it's personal, you don't have to pick on him," Bryan chimed in, his voice gentle and trying to settle the rift between Daniel and me. "Daniel, Bryan is right. You're just mad at Mark because his sister rejected you. How is it Mark's fault that you got rejected by Olivia? Stop being a sore loser!" Caleb shouted, taking my side. For some odd reason, I thought Caleb and his brothers shared a small resemblance to Olivia, but I was not so sure if they were related to her. Moreover, they never had any sister. "Shut up, you three morons! I am not being sour over Olivia's rejection. Fine, I admit that I got pissed off that she rejected me, but what's so special about her? She's a wolfless girl, born on a moonless night. Who would want a wolfless girl like her? Huh?" Daniel yelled, making my fist clench. But I didn't show my disgust. After all, he was Bryan's beta. "Say whatever you like about Olivia, if that will make you feel better. I am out of here," I replied, my voice stern as I turned to walk away and exit the basketball court. Daniel called out to me, "Mark! I heard from Emily that you're defending Olivia at home! Are you secretly sleeping with her? After all, she is your adopted sister? Who knows what you both are doing behind closed doors. Or why do you suddenly seem to care about her now?" The room dropped silent as everyone waited to hear my response. Indeed, I rushed back home to take Olivia to the hospital after the housemaid, Tracy, contacted me and informed me that my mother had beaten Olivia and left her to die in the living room. Three days ago, I was at my new home, trying to furnish it, when I left everything I was doing and rushed back to my father's house. I saw Olivia lying lifeless on the marbled tiled floor, and Mom already left for work, even though she was a nurse. She didn't care to check on Olivia. No one was at home, except for the maid, who was a middle-aged woman. As I entered into the living room, I rushed to carry Olivia in my arms and took her straight to my car. I kept her in the backseat and hopped into my red sports car driver's seat. Then I roared my car to life and drove straight to the pack's hospital. Upon my arrival at the pack's magnificent hospital, Mom saw me carry Olivia into the emergency unit, and she was so furious seeing me, as she worked in the obstetrics unit. After I came out and the doctors and nurses attended to Olivia, Mom glared at me, but I didn't wait to speak to her as I rushed back to find out if Olivia was recovering in the emergency unit. Shutting my eyes at the painful memory, I turned to face Daniel, knowing that he was a sore loser, and I demanded, "Does it matter if I am fụcking Olivia at home? After all, she's beautiful. So stay the fụck out of my business!" Everyone's jaw dropped in shock, including Bryan Anderson. His expression soured because I knew that he liked Olivia, but he never voiced his thoughts. His alpha pheromones thickened the atmosphere. I knew that he frequently visited me at home, but I found out his visits were not because of me, but to get a glimpse of Olivia. I had caught Bryan stealing glances at Olivia, but he couldn't admit to his feelings for her. After all, she was a wolfless girl. Bryan was the next alpha of the Starfield Pack, and his parents wouldn't support him picking a wolfless woman as his mate. Bryan's younger sister, Ava, was in Olivia's class, but they weren't friends. That held him back from chasing after my foster sister, and I was okay with it. I knew Bryan couldn't have a wolfless woman as his Luna, so that held him back from pursuing Olivia, but something in the way he looked at her made me uncomfortable and made me know he desired her too. Clearing his throat, Bryan snarled at me, "Mark, how can you take advantage of Olivia? Did she agree to sleep with you, or did you force yourself on her?" I laughed, seeing their questioning gazes. Their eyes peered at me disdainfully, but I replied with a smirk, "I have standards and don't force myself on women. Stay away from my sister. Whatever relationship I have with Olivia is my headache. After all, she is not related to me by blood." The atmosphere in the room thickened as Coach Tyler had already left us. I spun and left them, shutting the door behind me. "Mark is damn crazy! How can he take advantage of that beautiful girl? Is it because she is an orphan? We heard her parents threw her out when she was born," Caleb's voice resonated in the room as I stood in the hallway preparing to leave for the hospital. They were not happy that I admitted to being in a relationship with Olivia. She was not my blood sister, so I didn't care what they had to say. Logan growled in my head, "Let's not pay attention to them. The sooner we claim Olivia, the better to keep them away from her." "You're right," I agreed with Logan, making my way out of the basketball court. Arriving at the parking lot, I got into my red sports car and drove off to the pack's hospital, anticipating seeing Olivia. As I didn't want to arrive at the pack's hospital empty-handed, Logan advised me, "Mark, let's get a present for Olivia. What do you think she will like?" As I drove down the road that led to the pack's hospital, I caught sight of an eatery, and I was famished. I was supposed to join my teammates for lunch, but I didn't want to spend much time with them, knowing that I had pressing matters to take care of. A smile curled up my lips, and I drove my car into the eatery grounds and parked it. When I got out of my car, I came across Ava Anderson and my younger sister, Emily. "Hey, Mark!" Ava exclaimed as she rushed up to envelop me in a warm hug, her chest pressing against mine, and my wolf grimaced in disgust. Even though Ava was our Alpha's daughter, Logan didn't like her, as she was a cheap woman and had slept with many handsome guys in our pack. I was her target, and I didn't want her. Her eyes shamelessly raked over me with clear desire. She bit her bottom lip as she moved away, running her left fingers through her hair. She wore a yellow crop top, pink shorts and pink shoes. She was stunning with lengthy blonde hair and enchanting yellow eyes that glowed with so much lust in them. However, Emily glared at me and looked away. She was still annoyed that I had taken Olivia's side and protected Olivia against her. After all, Olivia was my sister, even as I planned to date her now. I couldn't seem to get her out of my mind, especially after I had run into her naked. That day, I blamed myself for not knocking before going into her room.Summer's POVWhen I moved to enter the basketball court, I spotted Ava's car arrive, as a long, luxurious bus pulled up too. Inside the bus were basketball players from the Bright Star Pack.Grinning, I glanced away and moved towards the entrance. The security searched us one by one before we were permitted entry.I moved to find a seat, my heart thudding in my chest as I sat close and watched the audience chairs fill up.Many pack members arrived, and we sat across from some of the fans from the Bright Star Pack.Their players wore red tops and brown shorts. Little by little, they stepped in, until the game was about to start.I watched our Starfield Pack players arrive. They filled the stage. The game began, and the referee blew the whistle.When I looked over at the players playing, I didn't see Mark among them. My heart slammed against my rib cage as I watched the Starfield Pack players dribbling and passing the ball.The Bright Star players were fierce. A guy named Max grasped ho
Summer’s POV:As I perched on the silver chair in the dining room and ate my breakfast with my family, it consisted of a cup of tea paired with four slices of bread.“You need to eat more, Summer. You need to gain weight,” Caleb said, as he sat next to me in the chair.He picked another slice of bread and added it to my plate.“Maybe the food is not her favorite. Summer, do you want us to change the diet and add any meals to your menu?” Mom asked, her tone sounding soft, as her eyes met mine.“No, the food is enough. I do not have a favorite meal,” I replied calmly.Cooper grinned and said, “Then we can hire a nutritionist to help Summer improve her diet.”“Let her eat more fruit. She will look better,” Carter said, as he sat next to Cooper at the table.“Alright. We should hurry up after winning the match. I will take Summer to the fruit market to get her more fruits. Which is your favorite?” Caleb inquired, as he picked up his cup and sipped his tea. Finishing it, he set the cup on
Summer's POV:The week rolled by and Saturday arrived. I did not want to leave my room, as I lay on the bed.I felt sick, so I pulled the bedsheets over myself properly.Just then, the intense knocking on the door rattled me as I lay on the bed.I lazily got out of bed and went to pull the door open. I wore a white nightdress that fell past my knees.“What the hell, sis! You look a mess!” Caleb exclaimed, as it was already 8 a.m., but I was still feeling sleepy.“Good morning, brother,” I greeted him with a grumble.“What is wrong? Did Mark do anything to offend you?” Caleb asked, his voice serious as he took a step into the room. Before I could react, he checked my body temperature, but I replied, “Mark did not do anything. I am just not feeling fine.”Caleb scowled and asked, “Should we visit the pack’s hospital?” His voice was thick with concern for me, but I stopped him.“No need. You guys have games to play today, so I will get ready.”I was aware that the game was going to kick
Ava's POV.When I drove to the omega district of our pack, my stomach churned violently. My palms tightened around the steering wheel."Mate!" My wolf growled, urging me toward the mate bond.Gritting my teeth, I parked my car along the roadside. This was not the first time since I found out I was pregnant by Wren. My desire spiked, and I stayed constantly aroused."Damn it. What do I do?" I groaned in my car."Ava, are you alright?" Justin mindlinked me, and I retorted, "I am not. I told you we should find time to reject each other. I cannot accept you.""Don't say that. If you do not want me, who will you accept? An alpha cannot reject their mate, remember. You need me. I can smell your heat," he said, his voice teasing."Shut up!" I growled at him and shut him out, but he mindlinked me again."I saw you drive to that rural area. We can meet up if you want," he ordered. It tempted me, but I didn't want to get caught. If Bryan or my dad found out I was mated to Justin, they would for
Summer's POV:"Summer, you look radiant," Cooper teased me as he watched me stride back into the living room, holding the flowers.Mom's gaze landed on me. Seeing the bouquet of lavender flowers in my hands, her brows furrowed. "Who brought the flowers? Was Mark here?" Mom asked, trying to keep a neutral expression."Yes," I replied, quickly moving to the stairs."Good night, everyone," I dashed and went back to my room, as I didn't want to get any form of scolding from them. Though my brothers had no issues with Mark, I didn't want to stand there and watch my mother ruin my mood.When I entered my bedroom, my hand reached for the knob and I shut the door behind me. I moved to the drawer closer to my bed and carefully placed the bouquet of lavender flowers there. The sweet scent hung heavily in my room, and I giggled at the recollection of hugging Mark.A knock on my door startled me, and I quickly stepped away from the flowers as I rushed over to the door to find out who was there. W
Summer's POV:After my dinner with Mom, I decided to go outside for a stroll. When I rose to my feet to leave the house, Mom studied my face and asked, "Summer, are you sure that you are alright? Or has Mark broken up with you? Did he cheat on you?""No," I quickly denied. "He didn't cheat on me," I said, my voice shaky.Mom studied my face as a heavy silence descended in the living room. "It's fine. Just know that if I found out that Mark is cheating on you, he will never be welcomed into this house."I gulped heavily and nodded. "Got it, Mom. I want to take a stroll outside," I said, and she nodded.I walked out of the door, my heart racing loudly against my rib cage, my hands holding my phone as I checked if Mark had called me. Yet, no calls.The moon rose gradually above the sky, as the time struck 7:30 pm.Just as I took a stroll around the lush gardens that surrounded my father's magnificent home, the smell of the flowering plants filled the air, and my eyes darted to the lavend
(Olivia's POV)"Will doing that make you not angry with me?" I asked Mark, as I peered at his handsome face."Yes," he replied calmly, his eyes watching me with desire.Wanting to please him, I got down on my knees in front of him. My hands carefully reached for his dîck as I parted my lips to take
Olivia's POV:Snapping out of my insane thought about gawking at Alpha Bryan's hot body, I cleared my throat and gathered as much breath as I needed to speak with confidence."Yes… I have the evidence that Mr. Wren gave me a check with his signature and sent me away. He wanted me to leave this pack
Olivia's POV:"What? Mark cannot be arrested?" I said, as I swiftly came forward to block the two guards from arresting Mark."Relax, Olivia. This has nothing to do with you," Mark spoke to me softly, despite his aura was cold and chilling. He found a way to speak to me in that soft tone."No, Mark
Ava's POV:When I got out of my red car, I took a deep breath and went to the Pharmacy.As usual, they bowed at my entrance."Welcome, Alpha," the lady behind the counter welcomed me, and I took a deep breath."I am here for a pack of pads, and also, pregnancy test kits and don't mention this to an
