Her voice was somehow soothing in the ears and it was making me feel calm at some point. “Nah. It will always be okay, Ada. Besides, it’ll be of help financially. You know, life is a bit off right now . . .,” I stopped my brows from twitching as I felt pain in my chest when I think about it. My Mom was feeling pain in her chest yesterday and if only I had the money to help her get checked by a doctor, I couldn't. It was something out of my hand. This side job from Ada was really a blessing in disguise.
