I was burning for her. Everyone and everything around us faded away. Even the thundering music seemed to dull into the background, as if we were the only two people left in the room. My lips brushed against her cheek before trailing down the side of her neck, my warm breath fanning across her skin as I slowly made my way back up to her ear.
I could feel her breathing change.
She was turned on.
I spread my legs a little wider and lowered myself slightly so my shaft aligned perfectly with her bubbly bottom, pressing firmly against her. She surprised me when she pushed back against me.
Oh, she wants me.
She arched her back until her head rested against my chest, and I loved the way she slowed the movement of her hips just to grind against my boy. There was no hiding the fact that she liked feeling my bulge pressed against her sexy butt. Her cheeks looked slightly flushed as the sexual tension between us intensified.
I removed my hand from her throat and grabbed her chin gently, turning her face toward me.
Her eyes nearly popped out when she finally saw me. I frowned slightly in confusion. Did she know me? Did she like what she saw? I smirked as I stared into her gorgeous light-green eyes.
Could it be her?
Either way, I’d find out soon enough.
“Do you wanna go somewhere more private, beautiful?” I whispered slowly into her ear, making a soft moan slip from her lips.
She froze at the suggestion.
Please say yes, doll.
For some strange reason, I craved her. Weird, because I’d never craved a girl before. They usually came to me.
She studied my face for several long seconds, almost too long, but I patiently waited for her answer. The lust swirling in her eyes told me everything I needed to know.
She smirked and nodded.
Pulling me down with her soft hands, her lips brushed against my right ear, sending goosebumps down my body.
“Where to, pretty boy?”
That was it. I couldn’t control myself anymore.
I captured her lips with mine, devouring her in a heated kiss. It took a herculean effort to pull away from her, leaving her lips swollen and red. Her eyes remained closed as she tried catching her breath.
“My room,” I whispered against her lips. “No one will bother us there, green eyes.”
River
It was 8:03 p.m., and I was almost ready.
I pulled out the contrast lace cami dress I bought a little over three months ago. It was way too sexy. The dress had a built-in nude bra, so I only wore a sexy lace thong to match, not that anyone would notice anyway.
My hair fell down my back in loose waves. The only other time you’d catch me wearing my hair down was when I rode my motorcycle.
As for my face, I wore only mascara, blush, and a glossy lip tint. I gave myself a once-over in the mirror and whispered, “I look stunning in this dress.”
I couldn’t stop staring at my reflection because I never wore anything this unbelievably sexy. The dress hugged my curves perfectly in all the right places.
I wasn’t going there to impress or seduce fraternity guys. I simply wanted to dress the part and become Raven for the night.
Trampoline by Shaed played softly in the background while I grabbed my black stilettos from beside my bed. Funny thing was, when Abby convinced me to buy them, I had absolutely no idea how to walk in heels.
At first, I looked like a baby fawn trying to walk for the first time. Abby laughed her butt off every single time I tripped or nearly fell over. Eventually, though, I got the hang of it. It took plenty of practice, but I finally learned how to walk like a runway model through the hallway whenever Dad wasn’t home.
I never thought heels could make me feel beautiful and powerful at the same time.
I was about to grab my phone and text Zach to let him know I was on my way, but I paused. I’d already missed several calls from him, along with a bunch of texts asking where I was, what time I’d get there, and whether I had arrived yet.
I finally texted back.
“I’ll be there, don’t worry. Stop with the questions, bro, and enjoy the party.”
Couldn’t he just let me breathe for a second?
Instead, I left my phone at home. It’s not like I’d need it anyway.
Was it a smart move?
Absolutely not.
Oh well. I’d deal with his wrath later.
I noticed crowds of people walking toward the frat house, but there was no way I was walking several blocks in these heels. Even from down the road, the house looked packed, and the music could already be heard clearly.
I parked the Roadrunner behind a couple of vehicles farther down the street and got out, making my way toward the front of the house.
Almost immediately, I became uncomfortable.
Guys whistled, made kissing noises, barked at me, yes, barked, shouted inappropriate sexual comments, and openly gawked at me. Suddenly, leaving my phone at home felt like a terrible idea.
Still, I picked up my big-girl panties and held my head high, masking my uneasiness as best as I could.
When I finally reached the front door, I didn’t know whether I should knock or just walk in. I was pretty sure people would stare at me like I was stupid if I knocked, so I walked inside instead and instantly flinched when the music blasted directly into my face.
“Ouch. Loud much?”
I slowly made my way through the crowd, standing on my tiptoes in hopes of spotting Zach, Jason, or Erica. I was about to move around a group of people dancing when I suddenly heard a familiar beat.
The DJ started playing Black Out Days by Phantogram, one of my favorite songs.
You already know that, though.
I stepped forward but hesitated.
What exactly was stopping me?
Nobody here knew me. I was practically unrecognizable, and tonight, I was Raven. Raven the Daredevil. The rebel girl who loved speed and adrenaline. That was the persona I became whenever I hopped onto my bike.
A smirk spread across my lips as I headed toward the dance floor, lifting my arms and swaying my hips the same way I practiced dancing at home. There was just something about this song that made me feel seductive.
At the beginning of the song, I give my tush a small bounce from left to right before slowly swaying my hips to the rhythm. I rocked them seductively while pushing my bottom out gracefully. My arms stayed lifted above my head while I brushed one hand along my arm before trailing it behind my head.
I loved letting my hands slide slowly down my body, grazing the sides of my breasts before moving lower toward my stomach and hips, mimicking the touch of a lover dancing with his girl.
My eyes remained closed as I moved to the rhythm, completely lost in the music and its sensuality.
Then suddenly, I felt a pair of masculine hands settle firmly on my hips. I froze. The guy behind me smelled heavenly. I loved how Zach smelled, but whoever stood behind me smelled deliciously addictive.
Instead of pulling away, I kept dancing. His grip tightened possessively as our hips moved together in sync. I’d danced with Zach before, and maybe once or twice things had felt slightly intimate, but I usually pulled away quickly.
This was different. I loved the feel of this stranger’s hands on my waist. I didn’t want to ruin the moment by turning around because, for once, I wanted to enjoy this. Dancing with a guy who wasn’t my best friend.
I’d read scenes in books where the male character gripped the girl’s throat while kissing her or while they were doing... other things. I never imagined something like that would happen to me.
I mean, I know I’m not the only girl who daydreams while reading romance books, imagining herself in the main female character's place instead. Don’t judge me.
Books were pretty much all I had. No guy had ever asked me out or even tried talking to me before. This was my first real experience with physical intimacy outside of Zach.
And like I said, I never imagined it would happen to me until his hand wrapped gently around my throat. My body vibrated. Actually vibrated. Something it had never done before.
This was completely new to me. Whenever I daydreamed about fictional characters, I’d only feel warm, but this? This felt like some euphoric high. I swear my womanhood throbbed, making me clench my thighs together to calm myself down.
As if I wasn’t already close enough to him, he pulled me even tighter against his body, and my eyes widened when I felt a hard bulge pressed against my back. Is that his...?
I didn’t know what to think because instead of feeling scared or uncomfortable, I loved it. My body burned for his touch. I wanted more. Crazy, I know.
His lips brushed against my cheeks and neck, and the warmth of his breath sent heat pooling straight between my thighs. When his mouth returned to my ear, I felt drenched with arousal. I was panting.
Completely turned on by him. He lowered himself slightly, and I moaned softly when I felt his erection pressing directly against my bottom. The reckless side of me pushed back against it, something I never would’ve done before.
But I wasn’t River tonight. The movements between us became increasingly sexual as I rubbed myself against him.
Who even am I?
I was certain my face had turned bright red from how flustered I felt from this intense physical intimacy. I couldn’t help it. This guy clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He removed his hand from my throat and tilted my chin upward, forcing me to face him.
I nearly stopped breathing when I realized the guy behind me was the same guy who showed up at my apartment door yesterday. Did he know it was me?
His beautiful smirk only confused me further as he leaned down toward my ear. “Do you wanna go somewhere more private, beautiful?” he whispered huskily.
A moan escaped my lips before I could stop it. An actual freaking moan.
I hadn’t meant for it to happen, but his voice was so deep, rough, and seductive that my entire body reacted instantly. I froze while processing his words.
Our eyes remained locked in a haze of lust. I couldn’t stop staring at him. He was ridiculously handsome. Should I say yes?
I’d never done anything this crazy before. Sure, I rode fast motorcycles and drove dirt bikes and buggies through water and hills at reckless speeds, but this? Dancing sexually with a guy and going alone into a bedroom with him? Never.
‘River, you need to live a little. You’ve waited this long and never been with a boy before. Why not? Would it really be that bad? What’s the worst that could happen? He doesn’t need to know it’s you. It can just be a one-time thing.’ I told myself.
I hesitated, and I could tell he was waiting patiently for my answer without pressuring me. Finally, I smiled and nodded before pulling him closer.
“Where to, pretty boy?”
Not even a second later, he captured my lips in a heated, passionate kiss. My first kiss.
My legs instantly turned to jelly, almost giving out beneath me. He devoured my mouth hungrily, and I didn’t want him to stop. I actually felt disappointed when he finally pulled away.
“My room,” he whispered, eyes filled with desire. “No one will bother us there, green eyes.”
Oh, snap. What did I just agree to?
I completely forgot about my friends, but hey, they’re the ones who wanted me to come in the first place. He held my hand and pulled me through the crowd, making our way up the stairs and then down the hallway. His room was at the end.
He opened the door and gestured for me to go in first. I was nervous and excited at the same time. I didn’t know what to expect. I could kind of tell his room was neat; it wasn’t pitch dark, and I could see a little from the moonlight shining through his window. I noticed him on his phone as he began playing some music to set the mood.
I stood there nervously, putting my right hand on my left arm and holding it.
“Are you nervous, doll?” he asked softly.
I nodded immediately, my anxiety increasing.
“You’ve never done this before.”
I couldn’t tell whether it was a question or a statement.
He stepped closer. I shook my head slowly. “I’m a virgin. I’ve never slept with anyone before.”
His eyes widened at my confession. He wrapped a hand gently around my neck and pulled me closer.
“Are you sure about this?” he asked quietly. “We don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do.”
His concern genuinely surprised me. I looked up into his beautiful blue eyes. “I’m sure. The only thing I ask is that I keep my mask on. It’s better if you don’t know my identity.”
He tilted his head slightly. “Why? I’d love to see your beautiful face while I thrust inside you.”
Oh my goodness. My lips parted slightly before I managed to compose myself again.
“Trust me, I’m not your type, and you are definitely not mine.”
I needed him to understand that things were better this way. Otherwise, I’d leave. He frowned before replying, “I’m not your type? That’s funny. I’m every girl’s type.”
I wanted to laugh, but instead, I pressed my lips together to hide my smile. “Fine,” he finally said. “If that’s your wish, then so be it. Maybe it’s better this way.”
I smirked softly. “It is.”
He brushed his lips against mine again.
“I’ll make sure you never forget this night, green eyes.”
“You can call me Raven,” I whispered before fiercely claiming his lips once more.

Sharing the happy news.“We’re pregnant!” I yelled out to our family and friends, making every single one of them gape at us in shock. Before anyone could even properly react, I quickly shouted, “Wait! Wait, that’s not all!” while Alec chuckled beside me. I glanced at him and mouthed, ‘Ready?’He nodded.I held up a tiny onesie that read ‘Not One,’ and two seconds later, Alec lifted another that said ‘But Two.’The entire house erupted with screaming, cheering, shock, and laughter. I loved watching everyone’s reactions, but more than anything, I loved the way our parents immediately started crying. We had invited everyone over for a small get-together at our home. We practically threatened every single one of them to save the date and show up, especially Jason and Samantha.Guess what, though?Jason finally proposed. The second Sammy showed us her engagement ring, we all screamed and practically bounced around the living room in excitement. I hugged my buddy so hard I almost knocked hi
“What did you bring for lunch, bestie?” Zach said buoyantly.I rolled my eyes. “Stop eyeing my food, Z. I’m not giving you half of my lunch. You always do this to me. You eat yours and then steal from mine,” I said in an annoyed tone.“Come on! Steal? Wrong choice of words, don’t you think, Riv’s? Sharing is caring, and what are best friends for? You know I love your food, babe,” he retorted, pouting and giving me puppy eyes.“Well, then, it’s a good thing I brought you a separate container of spaghetti.” I grinned, wiggling my eyebrows.“You do love me!!! I knew it! Thank you, Rivs. You need to show D how to make your famous spaghetti, but say it without her knowing I asked you to. Baby girl gets butt hurt when she burns something, or when the food comes out bland, so you can imagine how she’ll get if she finds out I don’t like her spaghetti.” He frowned and blew out his cheeks.Delilah and Zach got engaged the year we graduated, and they were now living on the outskirts of Houston, t
I just want to thank you for your support.I loved writing this book. It breaks my heart to end this beautiful romance. I loved writing about Alec's and River's love. I hope you all enjoyed it too.It would mean so much if you would leave me a review and share my book with others.I am currently working on Alpha Ivan's sequel, Valentina - I Bow To No One.I don't like to work on multiple books at one time. It's better for me that way so that I won't get the characters mixed up. As soon as I have a good amount of chapters I will get with my editor and get it on the shelf. Also, please let me know what you thought about River. As an author, I would love the feedback especially on what I can work on. I have another book I would like to add on my page, but it would have to wait. That one will fall into the-- my bestfriends brother, catagory.I want to thank my love ones who have supported me on this journey. Like I said before, I never thought I would be writing books and it has beem amazi
~River~Five months later.I honestly don’t even know where to begin because so much has happened since the day Alec and I returned home from Las Vegas. First of all, let me proudly announce that I’m officially a big sister, y’all! My baby brother, Tristan, is finally here. He was born on March 7th, and he looks exactly like my Dad with blue eyes and light brown hair. My baby brother is absolutely adorable. My friends, Alec’s parents, some of Abby’s relatives, and close family friends were all there to welcome him into the world, and it was one of the happiest days of my life.Sorry, I got a little too excited. Let’s go back to what happened after Alec and I returned from Las Vegas. The time eventually came for us to say goodbye again, and it was heartbreaking. Even though we knew we’d see each other within a week or two, depending on how long my transfer and packing took, it still hurt to be apart. When Alec dropped me off at the airport, it genuinely felt like the longest, most agoni
~Alec~Mine. All mine. I would have her for the rest of my life until my very last dying breath. My mouth went dry the moment I saw her in the exotic lingerie. Her tits out, the stockings on those sexy legs, the thong, the whole outfit had me rock hard. Then she began to dance, and the song she chose almost had me combusting. Run her like a river?! Oh, I was going to do that and more. My hands weren’t holy, though. I’ve made her sin, and I have no regrets. She protested and threw a fit when I carried her to our room, saying she wasn’t done. I ain’t gonna lie; when she ordered me to go into the room, it was sexy as heck, and I loved that side of her, but I’m dominant, and the Alpha in me couldn’t control himself anymore.I could practically smell her arousal and saw how her wet core glistened when she waved it in my face. How can she expect the beast in me to sit there and watch her bounce and sway her delicious bum on my shaft?I threw her on the bed, “Alec!” She giggled. I began to u
~River~We made it to the Palazzo Resort, where security immediately guided Alec and me toward LAVO, the Italian restaurant and nightclub located inside. The moment we walked in, everyone was already there waiting for us, including some of Bryce’s closest friends and even Jaylen’s parents.Bryce had rented out the entire restaurant-slash-club for the night. It had a spacious dance floor and a sleek, modern atmosphere, with vintage and contemporary elements that worked together perfectly. I absolutely loved it.Xander kept grinning at me the entire time, and eventually, I couldn’t take it anymore.“Why are you smiling at me like that? Do you find me funny or something?” I asked suspiciously. He cackled instantly. “Nope. I just knew Alec would finally get his girl in the end. All he needed was patience. You were never Zach’s, and I’m glad you figured that out for yourself eventually. By the way, I’m sorry to hear about your accident.”My lips parted slightly at his response.“What nonsen
ZachI’ve never felt happier in my entire life. I’ve had my good and great moments, but this…to be given a second opportunity to prove my love to the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever known is the best feeling in the world. Time flew by fast and during this entire time, I’ve made sure to be a gentleman,
RiverI closed my eyes when he was situated in between my legs feeling his hard girthy length. “You got me leaking, River.” The head, sleeking with pre-cum. I slightly gaped as he pushed in expanding my walls and whimpered. He was so thick and since it’s been a long while since the night I lost my v-c
RiverWait…this couldn’t happen! I had to put a stop to this. I couldn’t. What about Zach? Stop Riv’s, stop!?I was fighting with my subconscious. Mind over matter, River! But I couldn’t, Alec did that to me. He tasted and felt…insanely good. He tilted my head and deepened our kiss. I moaned, kissing
RiverCrap! Crap! Crap!Zach was glaring at me angrily. My blood began to boil, “Stop! How could he possibly know that?” He said, his j
