Chapter 6

River

The logical side of me was yelling, ‘Think about it! He’s a stranger. You’re gonna end up getting hurt. This is your V-card. It’s supposed to be special.’ I squeezed my eyes tightly, trying to drown out my thoughts.

Who was I kidding, though? I wanted this, and badly. For so long, I’d waited to feel something exhilarating happen in my life. The butterflies I felt with Zach at times were nothing compared to the swarm of angry hornets raging in my stomach. His touch, his kiss, the swell of his manhood, and the intensity of his stare awakened a desire within me unlike anything I had ever felt before. Maybe it was because Zach had never tried to touch or kiss me.

Today, I, River Barlowe, ‘the prude,’ a name lovingly gifted to me by my sexually active friends, was about to lose my virginity to a hot stranger in college. Yup, me. What would they call me now? Actually, never mind. I didn’t even want to know.

I would deal with the consequences later because, deep down, I knew I was doing this out of desire, not love.

“Raven? Is that your real name, or is that some stage name you’re going with?” he asked with a grin.

I shrugged. “Look…” I started to say, but my words died when I realized I didn’t even know his name.

His eyebrows shot up in surprise the moment he realized I had no clue who he was. “You don’t know who I am?!” he asked, shock dripping from his tone. “Are you new here?”

I shook my head before replying in an indifferent tone, “No, I don’t.” I paused for a second before adding, “And does it matter if I’m new? Don’t assume.”

He stared at me for a few long seconds before the corner of his lip curled upward. His grip on me remained firm. “My name is Alec. Alec Madden. But you can call me Daddy since you want me to call you Raven.” He winked and flashed me the sexiest grin I’d ever seen, revealing the cute dimples.

He was gorgeous, with soft features and an athletic body. I forced myself to roll my eyes and give him a bored look because I didn’t want him to notice the fact that I was gawking at him.

“Alec, do you want to do this or should I just…”

His lips crashed against mine before I could finish.

I caved instantly, wrapping my arms around his neck and deepening the kiss. I only hoped my inexperience wasn’t obvious.

My body came alive with arousal as sparks rushed through me. I had never felt this excited before. The feel of his tongue exploring my mouth was intoxicating, and I tried my best to mimic his movements.

Our bodies drifted closer together as the sexual tension between us built into something almost unbearable. His hands explored my body feverishly before he whispered against my lips, “I need to be inside you. I promise I’ll go slow since this is your first time, gorgeous, but it needs to be now.”

His hooded eyes and raspy voice completely unraveled me. I licked my lips and nodded slowly. I needed him inside me, too.

He reached behind me and unzipped my dress. My heart pounded violently in my chest, and my legs weakened at the realization that he was about to see me nearly naked. I gripped the fabric of my dress tightly, but he gently pulled my hands away.

“Don’t hide yourself from me, Raven. Let me see your beautiful body, baby.”

Baby?

My heart flipped at the word. ‘Calm down, woman. It’s just an overused word, not some heartfelt term of endearment.’

The second my dress slid off, his breath hitched.

“Your body is gorgeous, Raven.”

His eyes darkened with desire as he slowly stroked my stomach with his fingers. “Damn, Raven.”

I had a toned frame because I exercised daily. Well, almost daily.

“It’s your turn, Alec,” I said softly, blushing and hoping I sounded bolder than I felt.

He pulled his shirt over his head before tossing it onto the floor. Then he unbuttoned and unzipped his pants before pushing them down along with his briefs.

My breath caught in my throat.

Oh. My. Gosh.

My face burned crimson, not because I was shy, but because I was completely turned on. The tension between us pulsed through my body like electricity. It was my first time seeing someone completely naked, and I couldn’t stop staring at the Greek god standing in front of me.

He was gorgeous.

Suddenly, nervousness crashed into me. What if I wasn’t good enough? What if I screwed this up? What if I couldn’t—

Alec slammed his lips onto mine again, silencing every negative thought racing through my head. His tongue plundered my mouth, pulling a moan from me as his hand traveled down my back before squeezing my bottom. He lifted me effortlessly, wrapping my legs around his torso.

My back arched instinctively, giving him better access to my neck and chest.

“You’re beautiful,” he murmured huskily. “Your breasts are perfect. They fit right in my palms.”

He lay me down on his soft bed, the sheets smelling exactly like him. He sucked gently on my hardened buds, making me whimper softly, before trailing kisses and slow licks down my stomach. His fingers hooked around the elastic of my underwear before he slowly slid them down my legs and tossed them onto the floor with a guttural groan.

Heat flooded my entire body as he stared at me like a starving predator. No one had ever looked at me that way before.

Soft music played quietly in the background. Standing Still by Sabrina Claudio began playing at that exact moment, and somehow it felt perfect, almost like something straight out of a fairytale.

My eyes widened when he parted my thighs and licked his lips. That was the moment it truly hit me that I was completely naked in front of him while he stared at my most intimate area like it was a gourmet meal.

I watched almost in slow motion as his hand slid between my legs. He cupped my bare center before rubbing me gently, slipping a finger between my folds.

I gasped and jerked at the unfamiliar sensation. The movement of his finger hurt slightly as it moved in and out of me, but my body still reacted with overwhelming pleasure.

“You’re so wet and tight, Raven,” he groaned. “Has no one ever touched you…here?”

He caressed my soaked lips while his thumb played with my clit, making me arch my back and moan helplessly. His words only intensified the fire raging through my body.

I shook my head.

No one had ever touched me there before.

I breathed heavily as he slowly pulled his finger out, chuckling softly at the disappointed look on my face.

My lips parted in shock when he lifted his finger to his mouth and sucked it clean.

“Do you want me, Raven? I can see it in your eyes,” he asked in a raspy voice.

I nodded before whispering softly, “Yes.”

He leaned down and kissed me slowly before trailing his lips along my neck and behind my ear.

“As much as I want to taste those pink swollen lips…” he murmured while touching my aching core, “…the need to be inside you is greater.”

My rom-com fantasies were nothing compared to this. His painfully slow pace was driving me insane. Was he intentionally taking his time with me?

He reached toward his nightstand, pulled open the drawer, and grabbed a small metallic packet. Bringing it to his mouth, he tore it open with his teeth.

I watched him through hooded eyes as he rolled the condom down his thick length.

The second I felt his shaft slide between my legs, rubbing against my innocence, my breathing became uneven. Warmth flooded my body as he kissed me softly before the kiss turned feverish. His hand cupped my breast while his lips traveled down my neck and collarbone, sending jolts of pleasure directly to my core.

I was terrified and aroused all at once.

His eyes softened before he leaned down to capture my lips again.

I’d heard girls in high school talk about how much their first time hurt. I never stayed around long enough to hear the rest of the story or what happened afterward.

To say it hurt was an understatement.

The moment Alec slowly pushed the tip of himself inside me, a sharp sting shot through my body like electricity. He eased himself into me inch by inch, stretching my walls slowly.

I squeezed my eyes shut.

“Are you okay? You’re so tight, Raven. So…tight.”

The sound of his voice brought me back. I opened my eyes and saw concern written all over his face while the muscles in his biceps flexed with restraint.

I nodded even though it was nowhere near the truth.

It hurt so much.

I could feel tears slipping down the sides of my face.

“Raven, do you want me to stop?” he asked softly.

I shook my head rapidly. “No…please don’t stop.”

I probably looked like I was in agony, but there was no turning back now. If this was what a first time felt like, then so be it.

He pushed deeper inside me, biting down on his bottom lip.

“Damn, Raven, you feel so good…so tight. I feel like coming.”

He pushed in again until I could feel him completely inside me. He stayed still for several seconds before whispering softly, “Let me know when the pain subsides, baby.”

“Okay,” I whispered back.

He kissed me tenderly, clearly trying to distract me from the pain. His lips kept mine occupied while my walls tightened around him.

“Raven…don’t, baby. You’re squeezing me and…and…” His words trailed off into a strained groan.

After what felt like forever, the pain slowly began to numb.

The feeling of him inside me became more bearable.

“You can move now,” I whispered.

A smirk spread across his face while mischief flickered in his blue eyes.

He slowly pulled out before thrusting back in. There was still a slight hint of discomfort, but it was nothing compared to the agony from earlier.

He looked breathtaking moving inside me.

A moan slipped from my lips as he established a slow, steady rhythm, thrusting gently back and forth.

“Wrap your legs around me, baby,” he growled.

I obeyed immediately.

“You feel so good,” he said huskily.

His thrusts gradually transformed into something unbelievably pleasurable.

“Alec…” I whispered breathlessly.

“I love the way you say my name. Tell me what you want, baby. What do you need from me?”

I loved the way he spoke to me. He was turning me on in ways I never thought possible.

“Faster, Alec…faster, please,” I pleaded.

And he obliged.

My toes curled as pleasure consumed me completely. He was hitting something deep inside me so perfectly that loud moans kept escaping my lips. His pace increased as his hips slammed against mine in long, powerful strokes.

I could barely speak.

I couldn’t stop staring at the gorgeous man above me.

I captured his lips hungrily.

That feeling I couldn’t explain earlier became impossible to ignore.

I obeyed instantly.

My body trembled violently as a wave of pleasure exploded through me. Ecstasy crashed over me so intensely that I completely unraveled around him.

Alec’s voice was barely audible.

I shook uncontrollably when he buried his face into my neck and groaned deeply, releasing himself into the sheath.

Both of us were left panting heavily.

I could barely catch my breath.

We stayed tangled together until our breathing finally slowed down. Then he slowly pulled out and rolled onto his back.

“That was amazing, Raven.”

“It was,” I admitted softly. “I can’t believe I actually just did that.”

I still felt dazed from everything that had happened between us and shocked that I had finally lost my virginity.

But I didn’t regret it.

He stood up to throw away the rubber, and I shamelessly stared at his toned, sexy backside the entire time. Somehow, I didn’t even feel embarrassed lying there naked in front of him anymore.

He grabbed a small hand towel and a bottle of water, then poured water onto the towel.

“Lay back down, Raven,” he ordered gently.

I looked at him in confusion. “Why?”

“This was your first time. You’re bleeding,” he explained softly.

I gaped at him.

“Wha, but…?”

“From what I’ve heard, it happens,” he said calmly. “Now, lie down for me, baby. Let me clean you.”

I slowly lay back down on the bed again.

“Spread your legs wider, Rav,” he said with a grin.

Blushing furiously, I slowly opened my thighs.

He wiped me gently, but I jerked slightly from both the coldness of the towel and the lingering soreness between my legs.

He chuckled softly. “Sorry. The restroom is down the hall, and I’m naked, so warm water isn’t exactly an option.”

I couldn’t stop staring at him in admiration as he carefully cleaned me. The entire moment felt strangely intimate.

“Thank you,” I whispered. “You didn’t have to do that. I could’ve done it myself, Alec.”

“It’s okay. It’s the least I could do. You gave yourself to me.” His voice deepened slightly. “I just wish you’d let me see your beautiful face, Raven.”

“I…I’m serious, Alec. It’s better if you don’t know me. Trust me, I’m not your type, and you…you’re not mine.”

Suddenly, I felt awkward being naked.

I quickly got up and bent down to retrieve my underwear and dress. Somehow, I still had my shoes on. I grabbed the towel from his hand and wiped the sweat from my body before getting dressed.

“You keep saying that, but what does that even mean, Rav?” he asked with frustration. Then he sighed. “You know what? Never mind. Fine. If that’s what you want, then fine.”

The sexy grin he’d worn all night had completely disappeared into a frown.

I slid my underwear back on before pulling my dress over my body. Just as I reached for the zipper, I felt his hand brush against my back.

Standing behind me, he slowly zipped my dress up before whispering against my ear, “Raven, if you don’t want me knowing who you are, I won’t force you. But know this…I will search for you, find you, and make you mine again. You will belong to me, baby.”

His voice was deep and serious.

Maybe it was only meant to sound like a harmless threat, but I fully intended on making sure he never found out who I really was.

He kissed my neck softly, and warmth instantly spread through me again.

But I had to leave.

I had no idea how long we’d been in his room, and my friends were probably worried sick by now. Not to mention, I didn’t even have my phone.

I tried pulling away, but he grabbed me again, turning me around before slamming his lips onto mine. He kissed me hungrily, passionately, almost desperately.

Finally, I pushed him back roughly.

“I’m sorry. I have to go.”

He frowned before reluctantly nodding.

I hurried out of his room, running down the hallway and stairs, weaving through the crowd before finally bursting out the front door without looking back.
