Seven Days Left to End This Marriage

I stared at the message from my mother-in-law, Wendy Gilmore, and felt my breathing stutter to a stop.

Then, I lifted my head and immediately spotted my wife, Natania Gilmore, seated right on Samuel Greene's lap.

This was the 108th time I had caught her being intimate with another man.

My arrival caught not just her attention, but her friends' as well. They immediately started jeering at me.

"Nat, looks like your husband is here to drag you home to try for a baby again."

"Who would've thought he would still be so insistent after all these years? Does he really need a woman that much?"

Their disdainful words and mocking laughter stabbed at my ears, yet all Natania did was curl her lips into a small smile. She didn't seem the slightest bit panicked at being caught in the act. In fact, she went as far as to boldly tug Samuel closer by his tie and press a searing kiss to his bobbing Adam's apple, not caring that I was right there.

Her actions drew a round of shrieks and applause from her friends.

"Nat, how does Samuel compare to those other 'stallions' of yours?"

"Do you even need to ask? Anyone is better than Leon."

Natania released Samuel's tie, leaving a bright red lipstick mark on his neck that was particularly eye-catching in the light.

Unfazed by her friends' teasing, she replied casually, "Those men can't possibly compare to Sam. I plan on dismissing them all so that I can focus on spending time with him."

Her reply immediately sparked murmurs, and everyone turned their attention to me, standing in the corner.

My hands, which had been hanging at my sides, curled into tight fists before ultimately loosening in defeat.

In all of the 107 times I had caught her cheating before, Natania had never been as serious as she was now. Samuel was the first man she had spent this much time with, and both his figure and his looks bore a striking resemblance to my late older brother.

Swallowing the bitterness in my mouth, I said hoarsely, "It's very late. Come home with me, okay?"

Natania simply scoffed in reply, and beside her, Samuel shot me a mocking sneer.

"Mr. Sander, your reputation precedes you. I've long heard that every time you catch Nat in the act of cheating on you, you would beg her to come home and… try for a baby, right?"

By the end, he couldn't hold back his amusement any longer and let out a laugh, which caused the others to burst into scornful laughter as well.

Instead of answering, I kept my gaze firmly fixed on Natania.

Eventually, she grew impatient and stood up.

"Leon Sander, are you done yet? You might not care about pride or dignity, but I certainly do. You want a baby that much? Fine."

With a clap of her hands, a group of women filed into the room and lined up in a row before me.

Crossing her arms, Natania leveled an amused look at me and said, "Go on, pick one. Or maybe you want them all? I'm not the petty or small-minded sort, so if that's what you really want, I can send them all to your bed."
