LOGINChapter 4: Siege
"What do you mean never found alive?" Jhonatan stepped back, his back hitting the table behind him. "My father... my father wants to kill me?"
"No," Glenmorrin answered, setting his phone down on the table. "Your father is too much of a coward to do it himself. He hired people."
"Why?" Jhonatan's voice cracked. "I'm already worthless to him. Why not just let me go?"
"Because you know too much," Glenmorrin answered, his eyes narrowing toward the door. "Or more precisely, because I now know too much, and he's afraid you'll bring that information to me."
"What information?" Jhonatan asked, confused. "I don't know anything about his business."
"Not yet," Glenmorrin corrected. "But you're his son. Sooner or later, he thinks I'll use you to pressure him further."
"So this was never about me at all," Jhonatan said quietly, his voice bitter. "This is about the two of you."
Glenmorrin didn't answer, which told Jhonatan he was right.
"How much time do we have?" Jhonatan asked, trying to steady the shake in his voice.
"Ten minutes," Glenmorrin answered, moving quickly toward the cabinet in the corner of the room, pulling out a metal box. "Maybe less."
"Ten minutes for what?" Jhonatan followed him, panic starting to creep into his chest.
"To decide," Glenmorrin answered, opening the box—containing two pistols and a set of car keys. "Whether you come with me now, or stay here and hope your father's men aren't as bad as I've heard."
"Why should I trust you?" Jhonatan asked. "You said it yourself, I'm just leverage to you."
Glenmorrin stopped moving, looking straight at Jhonatan.
"Because dead leverage," Glenmorrin answered, "is useless to me. But you alive—" he held one of the pistols out toward Jhonatan, "—you're still useful."
Jhonatan looked at the pistol for a moment, then took it, checking the magazine with movements more skilled than Glenmorrin expected.
"You know how to use that?" Glenmorrin asked, an eyebrow raised slightly.
"My father trained me as heir for eighteen years," Jhonatan answered bitterly, cocking the pistol. "I know how to shoot. I've just never had to do it to survive."
Something shifted in Glenmorrin's expression—brief surprise, then something closer to reassessment.
"Fine," Glenmorrin said, moving toward the door. "You stay behind me. Don't shoot unless I say so, and don't waste bullets on anything without a clear target."
"I'm not a child," Jhonatan protested, following him.
"I know," Glenmorrin answered shortly, "but this is your first time shooting a real person, and that's different from a practice target."
The sound of heavy footsteps began echoing from outside the apartment door—many, coordinated, drawing closer.
"They're here," Jhonatan whispered, his body tensing, but his hand holding the pistol no longer trembled.
Glenmorrin pulled Jhonatan behind his own body, one hand gripping his pistol, the other still holding Jhonatan's wrist tightly.
"Whatever happens once that door opens," Glenmorrin said, not looking back, his eyes fixed on the door, "don't let go of my hand."
The knock on the door never came.
What came instead was the sound of a small explosion at the door's hinges, and the door flew open with a force that made Jhonatan instinctively raise his pistol, his finger ready on the trigger.
Chapter 6: ScentThe car sped through the still rain-soaked night, leaving behind an apartment now filled with unconscious bodies.Jhonatan sat stiffly in the passenger seat, his hands still gripping his own arms, trying to hold back a shaking that was no longer just from the cold."Do you feel strange?" Glenmorrin asked, his eyes glancing occasionally toward Jhonatan between focusing on the road."Hot," Jhonatan answered, his voice slightly hoarse. "But also cold. I don't understand it.""That's normal for the early phase," Glenmorrin said, his jaw tightening slightly. "How long until we reach our destination?""You're asking me?" Jhonatan looked at him, confused. "You're the one driving.""I was talking to myself," Glenmorrin answered shortly, speeding up the car.Jhonatan noticed Glenmorrin's knuckles turning white on the steering wheel. "You're feeling it too, aren't you?"Glenmorrin didn't answer for several seconds."An Omega's scent in the pre-heat phase," Glenmorrin answered f
Chapter 5: IgniteThree figures stood in the doorway, weapons already raised toward the room."Lower your weapons," said Glenmorrin, his voice flat, without a trace of fear. "You don't even know what you're dealing with tonight.""We just need the Omega," said the man in the middle, apparently the leader of the three. "Hand him over, and you can go on living peacefully, Glenmorrin.""I don't negotiate with hired help," Glenmorrin answered. "I only deal with whoever sent you.""He doesn't want to meet you directly," the man said, smiling thinly. "Too afraid.""Unfortunate," Glenmorrin said. "Because that means the three of you will bear the consequences tonight."Jhonatan stood stiffly behind Glenmorrin, pistol raised, but his hands had started shaking hard. He'd never faced anything like this before—years of training against paper targets never felt like this."Jhonatan," Glenmorrin said, not turning, his voice calm but sharp. "When I say shoot, you shoot the one on the far right. Don

Chapter 3: HuntedJhonatan stepped back, his heart pounding. "What debt? My father never told me about—""Of course he didn't," Glenmorrin cut in, standing, walking away toward the window. "A man like your father wouldn't admit to his own son that he mortgaged his family's life to cover up his failing business.""You're lying," Jhonatan said, his voice trembling."I don't need to lie," Glenmorrin answered, turning, his gaze calm but cold. "I have the contract. Signed by your father himself, three months ago.""What contract?" Jhonatan asked, stepping closer despite his still-trembling body."A contract stating," Glenmorrin answered, "that if he failed to pay within the agreed time, I have the right to take whatever I deem equivalent from his family.""And you chose me?" Jhonatan's voice was barely audible."I didn't choose you," Glenmorrin said. "Fate chose you, tonight, when you collapsed right in front of my door."Jhonatan shook his head, stepping back again. "I'm not merchandise t
Chapter 2: CollateralThe car stopped in front of a towering luxury apartment building, its lights glowing warm in the still-rainy night."Get out," said Glenmorrin, not looking back at Jhonatan who sat stiffly in the passenger seat."Is this... your apartment?" Jhonatan asked, hesitant."One of them," Glenmorrin answered curtly, already out of the car without waiting.Jhonatan followed him into the elevator, both silent until the doors opened on the top floor."Why did you bring me here?" Jhonatan asked once they entered an apartment larger than the entire ground floor of his parents' old house. "Why not a cheap hotel, or—""Because I don't trust you in a place I can't watch," Glenmorrin cut in, tossing his jacket onto the sofa. "You're a witness. I don't like witnesses running loose.""I'm no one of yours to be watched," Jhonatan protested.Glenmorrin turned, his gaze sharp. "Not yet," he said quietly."What does that mean?" Jhonatan stepped back."Sit," Glenmorrin ordered, pointing
Chapter 1 Discarded"You're not my son," said Jhonatan's father, his voice echoing through the family room that was usually warm, now feeling like a courtroom.Jhonatan stood stiffly in front of the dining table, the differentiation test results still gripped in his father's hand, the edges slightly crumpled from being clenched."Father, I—" Jhonatan tried to explain."Silence," his father cut him off, throwing the paper onto the table. "Omega. You're an Omega.""I didn't choose this," Jhonatan said, his voice breaking at the end of the sentence."No one cares what you choose," his father shot back, standing up, the wooden chair scraping loudly against the marble floor. "For eighteen years I raised you as the heir. I taught you how to lead, how to fight, how to be this family's pride. And now—" he pointed at Jhonatan's body as if pointing at broken merchandise, "—now you're not even something I can show off in front of our allies."His mother stood in the corner of the room, unmoving,
