The last few weeks had been surprisingly nice.

Zyren and I had grown a lot closer, and somehow, being around him no longer felt awkward.

We spent more time talking, teasing each other, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

I found myself looking forward to those little moments with him more than I cared to admit.

Even so, I never forgot who he was.

He was still the Vampire Prince.

And I was… me.

There were still lines I didn’t dare cross.

One thing had changed, though.

Author’s Note Well… things just took a dangerous turn. Meeting Nikolai was never going to be peaceful, but I don’t think anyone expected the confrontation to escalate this quickly. We also got a glimpse of the deep wounds between father and son, and it’s becoming clear that the coronation is only the beginning of a much bigger conflict. Do you think Nikolai is genuinely planning something against Ruby, or is he simply trying to provoke Zyren? I’d love to hear your theories. Don’t forget to vote, comment, and share your favorite moment from this episode. See you in the next chapter. ❤️ I love you’ll….Bye

  • Sold To A Vampire    Her Warmth, My Weakness

ZYREN POVI walked to my so-called mother’s room to ask her if she really knew what Nikolai had done.A maid opened the door. Elsbeth was inside, feasting as though nothing had happened.“What are you doing here?” she asked.“You mean, what am I doing here? You really want to know?” I scoffed.“You know I’ve always hated you, and I still do. But that’s not why I’m here today.”“Elsbeth, do you really see yourself as a mother?” I questioned. “How could you be so cruel to your own flesh and blood? Or is there something you and Nikolai aren’t telling me?”“How can you call yourself a mother when your daughter has been kept away from you for centuries, yet you’ve never made a single attempt to find or search for her?”“Wait… is that why you came to my room?” she said. “To blabber about insignificant matters?”“Do you really think I’m scared of you? Or do you think that because you’re a pure-blood vampire, everyone should bow at your feet?” she growled.“As you can see, I was in the middle

  • Sold To A Vampire    The Mark He Left Behind

A yawn escaped my lips as I pushed myself up from the floor, but the moment I tried to stand, my legs buckled beneath me. I lost my balance and collapsed right back onto the cold floor.“What the heck…?” I muttered, wincing. Why did I feel so weak?My entire body felt strangely drained, as though every ounce of strength had been siphoned away overnight.I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to piece together yesterday’s events, but my memories were frustratingly fragmented.“What happened yesterday?” I whispered.Everything felt hazy… blurred around the edges, like a dream slipping through my fingers no matter how hard I tried to hold onto it.The harder I forced myself to remember, the more my head throbbed. Then a sharp sting shot through my neck.“Huh…?”I instinctively reached for the sore spot, my fingertips brushing against the tender skin.“My gosh…”“What happened to my neck?”As the throbbing pain in my neck intensified, fragments of yesterday began flooding back into my mind.Zyre

  • Sold To A Vampire    Buried Secrets

RUBY POV The following day , I put on a Blue Shirt and a pair of blue jean ready to see Nikolai again. He was shirtless when I stepped into his room, a lifeless body lying in his arms. How on earth did he find another victim so quickly? He must have lured them in with that face of his, I thought. “I think it’s time for me to meet the person you said you wanted me to see.” “Cut the crap, Zyren. Get over here,” he said flatly. “I’m fine.” Without another word, he walked toward the enormous walk-in closet. A moment later, he emerged wearing a fitted grey T-shirt and a pair of black trousers. “Let’s go,” he said. *** A massive black iron gate slowly creaked open, revealing the underground passage. “The catacombs?” “What are we doing in the castle catacombs? Whose remains are we here to visit?” “You know I despise this place… You literally locked me in here for an entire year when I was just a child. Or are you planning to repeat history and hand the crown to your

  • Sold To A Vampire   Marked By The Vampire Prince

ZYREN POVI knew this was coming. From the moment Nikolai laid eyes on Ruby, I knew he wouldn’t leave her alone. I had already made myself a promise. No one would lay a finger on her. Even if it meant taking her far away from this palace… I would. Nikolai might wear the face of a composed king, but beneath that carefully crafted mask lurked a monster. He wasn’t merely a vampire. He was a demon in every sense of the word. Anyone who stood between him and his ambitions eventually paid the price. But this time… He would have to go through me. After composing myself, I made my way to his private chamber. I didn’t bother knocking. He had long since forfeited the right to basic courtesy. I pushed the doors open. Nikolai barely looked up. He was feeding. A pale human lay across the arm of his chair while he drank leisurely from the man’s neck, as though enjoying an expensive vintage. “What the fuck, Zyren?” he muttered without a trace of surprise. “I need to speak with you

I no longer called him “Boss.” He was the one who stopped me. “Ruby,” he’d said with a small smile, “stop calling me Boss. Just call me Zyren.” At first, it felt strange. Now… It felt strangely right. *** I was getting dressed when he suddenly walked up behind me and tickled my waist. “Gosh! You scared me!” I exclaimed. “Oh? Really?” he replied with a grin. “By the way, you look stunning.” His eyes roamed over me before he looked back into mine, a playful smile tugging at his l

  • Sold To A Vampire   Secrets Beneath the Crown

It's been weeks since we shared that intimate moment... even though we never went all the way. She'd barely spoken to me since that night. The silence between us was enough to make the guilt settle in.I kept wondering if I'd crossed a line...If I'd taken advantage of her.I needed to speak with her.My coronation was drawing closer, and there were things she needed to know before that day arrived. That was the reason I came here...Or at least, that was the excuse I kept telling myself. Is that really why I wanted to see her?Or have I simply been searching for a reason to stand in front of her again? To hear her voice. To watch her smile. To know that she wasn't avoiding me.A quiet sigh escaped my lips. When did I become so desperate for her attention? And why does every day without seeing her feel strangely... empty?I brought her flowers. And gifts.I stood there for a moment, suddenly unsure of what to say."Come on, Zyren... just say something."I cleared my throat."Ruby..."
