Harper’s POV

“Clive is Jace’s cousin. And a friend,” I made clear again.

Quinn nodded her head, but I could tell she wasn’t going to let it rest.

“Why don’t you focus more on you and Austin?” I asked, gesturing my head toward Austin, who had just appeared from the corner.

Quinn looked up and stared for a second, the kind that bore a lot of feelings.

What was I missing?

“He’s not my type,” she said again dismissively.

I furrowed my brows.

“Why not?”

“He is a good guy,” I shrugged.

Quinn turned

I could think of something to help…”I shook my head in

  • Stuck With My Bully Until Graduation   Keep praying

_Harper's POVI opened the door to the vacation house and stepped in.Jace walked in after me and his hands caught my waist, pulling me back to himself. His lips engulfed me in a rough, heated kiss and I clung tightly to him.We managed to find our way to the bedroom and ripped our clothes off in the speed of light....When I woke up again, it was morning. Jace was lying beside me, his hands embracing my body like he was keeping me from escaping.I didn't pull away but gave him a kiss on the forehead instead. I moved to his lips and kissed him again, gently, but he woke up and kissed me back.“Hey,” he said.I smiled. “Hey.”We both stared at each other for a moment and then our lips crashed together again. Just when I was going to go for it, he stopped me.“Stay here,” Jace suddenly let out.I furrowed my brows a little.“What?”He pulled up, and I pulled back a bit. His fingers caressed my hair, moving to my ear deliberately.“Move out of Clive's and come stay here. No one woul

_Harper's POVI wasn't deeply asleep. So when I felt a mouth on my lips, I slowly opened my eyes to see Clive... kissing me.I didn't know why it took me a second to flinch, but I did. My head knocked against the arm of the chair as I pushed back too hard.Clive also jolted, his eyes staring cluelessly at me for a moment.I watched him swallow hard slowly, and I did the same.“Um, I should go to my room,” I stuttered a bit and got up.Clive also got up, his eyes still fixed on me.“Harper...” he called, but I ignored it, pretending I didn't hear it.I turned and rushed to my room quickly, closing the door behind me with a heated breath. What the hell?!That night, I slept with a worried heart, feeling like I had committed an immortal sin.The next morning, I got up as early as possible and practically ran out of the house.I dialed Quinn to come pick me up. She arrived in the old jeep her mum had passed down to her.“Hey,” she called as she opened the door.I got in quickly, the col

  • Stuck With My Bully Until Graduation   This is insane

_ Harper’s POV The question caught me completely off guard. I was expecting a kiss, not an interrogation. “Why do you want to know?” I said again after I pulled myself out of my fantasy. “He's only helping you to get back at me,” he stated. My brows furrowed. The words hit a nerve and my scowl came back. “Seriously?” I pushed him away and got up. “You’re unbelievable,” I snapped. His face tightened. I crossed my arms defensively. “You’re just so jealous of his good heart,” I accused, pointing my finger at him. His eyes narrowed. “Jealous?” “Yes.” Jace’s expression darkened. “You really believe that? How stupid and naive,” he let out. I gasped, my mouth agape in disbelief. “You think Clive is just being nice to you? He's not.” He said again and I flared up. The anger inside me grew. “I'll be the judge of that.” Jace’s expression changed, but I didn’t give him the chance to respond. I turned around and walked out. ... The atmosphere was nothing like I had ever

  • Stuck With My Bully Until Graduation   Try not to stare

_Harper’s POVThe moment I stepped into the hallway, I knew something was wrong.Stares followed me every step I took, and not the good kind of looks. I heard the laughter, same as when I was the nerdy loser Harper. My body shook a little as I paused."Ignore them."Quinn said to me, her arm coiled over mine.Only when I got closer did I see it.There were posters everywhere. A picture of me looking ridiculous, probably from one of the pictures Reagan had taken of me in the past, and of Jace too. There was a large splash line between our pictures and the word "loser" on mine.My stomach twisted. And then I saw who was standing in the middle of it all.Reagan.She was surrounded by her friends, smiling proudly as they laughed.I walked toward the nearest poster and ripped it down. The sound caught everyone’s attention. I crumpled the paper in my hand and dropped it to the floor.Reagan’s smile faded slightly when she saw me.“Well, look who finally showed up.”I stared at her.“What

_Harper’s POVI sat across from Principal Reid, astounded by the news he just gave me.“Your scholarship has been reinstated,” he said, a small smile appearing on his face."The Carter family has decided to continue their sponsorship.”For a moment, I just stared at him.“Really?” I asked, my voice almost a whisper.Principal Reid nodded. “Yes. But now, Harper, you need to focus completely on your studies. You have worked hard to get here, and I expect you to keep that same determination.”I nodded quickly, relief flooding through me.“And don’t worry,” he continued. “You will have the recommendation letter I promised you soon.”My heart jumped.“Thank you, Principal Reid,” I said sincerely. “Thank you so much.”But even with the excitement, I felt uneasy. Marla was clear. What could have made her change her mind?As I walked out of the office, I could only think of one person to ask. So, I went straight to the ice rink. But he wasn’t there.I checked the boys’ locker room next,
