Surrender Freely: Lyker's Redemption

PROLOGUE

He stared at me, his hazel eyes seeming to look into my soul. “You are beautiful,” those whispered words caused my stomach to flutter and my heart to skip. I knew I shouldn't be feeling this way, but my body seemed to have a mind of its own.

His hand reached for me, and he wrapped it around my neck, not hard, but sturdy enough to keep my focus on him as he leaned closer. 'Tell me if you don't like it' Was the only warning I got before he kissed me. 

The moment our lips touched, it felt like the explosion of fireworks, taking my breath with it, and leaving me unable to form coherent thoughts. I melted into his kiss, my lips parting to invite him deeper. His hand on my neck sent shivers down my spine, but it wasn't fear that coursed through my veins. It was something far more dangerous—desire.

As our tongues danced, the tension between us crackled like electricity. I felt alive, my senses heightened, and my heart racing.

The scent of his skin enveloped me, a musky sweetness that drew me in. It was like warm leather and honey, rich and intoxicating. I breathed deeper, filling my lungs with his essence.

I tried to wrap my head around what was happening. We were in a hotel room, kissing like teenagers, after a successful mission. But that wasn't shocking. What was, was my willingness to let him touch me, kiss me? 

He broke the kiss, his breath hot against my lips as he used his right thumb to rub across my lips, staring at me with a smile. “Do you know what I intend to do to you, Ly?” He murmured, his breath warm as he leaned in, snaking his tongue out to lick my left ear. “I'm going to fuck you, hard. I don't care if you don't want this. I will make you want it as much as I do.”

This should have been it, something that would have made me punch him, but I didn't. I shamelessly moaned as he pressed his thumb into my mouth. My dick hardened in my slacks, straining against it, eager to be let out of the confines. My wolf wasn't far. He seemed on edge, waiting for this. 

As I gazed into his eyes, I couldn't help but inhale his scent again. It was addictive, making my head spin and my pulse quicken. Alex was affecting me in more ways than one, and I knew I was a goner. 

“I will make you my bitch after this night, Ly. You need to know that this wouldn't be the last.” He kissed me, sealing those words, without waiting for a response, not like I would have given him one.

Breaking from the kiss once more, he whispered, “You need to know this before we proceed, baby. I talk dirty, and I fuck hard. Can you handle me?” 

“Handle you? Don't you think the right question is if you can handle me?” I challenged, staring into his eyes. “I love it rough. You better live up to expectations…”

“Baby,” he growled, “you don't know what you have gotten yourself into…” His lips lifted in a knowing smirk as his eyes turned golden, the promise in them, making me shiver.
