LOGINLucy’s POV
“She’s actually pregnant for me.” Andy’s words slammed into me like a physical blow, stealing the air from my lungs. My hands trembled at my sides as I stared at him, trying to process what he’d just said. This couldn’t be real. My Andy. The man who had always reassured me, held me close when the whispers about my inability to conceive grew too loud. The man who had promised me we’d face it all together. And now, here he was, standing in front of me, confessing to fathering another woman’s child. “How can she be pregnant for you?” I asked, my voice trembling, barely concealing the fury rising up within me. Andy didn’t answer my question immediately. He crossed his arms and looked away, as though he couldn’t bear to meet my gaze. His silence felt like a slap, confirming the truth I didn’t want to believe. “Andy, answer me!” I shouted, taking a step toward him with huge anger already. He sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. “What do you want me to say, Lucy?” he said, his tone laced with irritation and hate. “It happened. What’s done is done and quite he changed.” “‘It happened’? It happened?” My voice cracked as the tears threatened to spill up from my eyes. “You told me we’d wait until I pregnant. You told me the moon would bless us one day, that you’d stand by me no matter how long it took for that to happen!” “And how long am I supposed to wait until the moon bless us, Lucy?” Andy shot back, his voice rising up, with a more visible anger. “Five years? Ten? Forever? Do you know how it feels to have the entire pack questioning my worth as the strongest Beta because my Luna can’t give me an heir?” His words hit harder than I thought they would do. I felt my chest tighten as if his betrayal wasn’t painful enough. Now he was blaming me. “So it’s my fault,” I whispered, my voice trembling already. “You cheated because i failed to give you a child?” Andy laughed bitterly, his expression cold. “I didn’t cheat because of you, Lucy. I cheated because I have needs and wants. Needs you couldn’t fulfill, and want you couldn't offer.” The room spun for a moment, my vision blurring with a mix of tears and disbelief. “You promised me, Andy. You promised me you would wait, even if it took twenty years to huge you an hour,” I said, my voice breaking already. “And how foolish of you to believe that,” he snapped, his lips curling into a harsh smirk. I took a shaky step back, the weight of his words crushing the last bit of resolve I had. “You’re not the man I thought you were the night I accepted you as a mate,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper. “Believe what you want to, Lucy,” he said with a dismissive shrug. “The truth doesn’t change anything at all. She’s pregnant, and it’s my child and that's final." I wiped my tears angrily, refusing to let him see me break down. “What’s her name?” I asked, my tone colder now. Andy hesitated for a moment before finally saying, “Ash.” “Nice name,” I said with a bitter smile. Then my expression hardened. “What is she doing in my house?” I shouted, unable to contain my rage any longer. “You’re just a frustrated fool,” Andy spat before turning and storming out of the room, leaving me standing there alone with the echoes of his betrayal and deep pain. For a short moment, I just stood there, staring blankly at the door he’d slammed shut behind him. My hands shook as I clutched at the edge of the table for support. How could everything fall apart so quickly? How had I been so blind to what was happening right under my nose? Then I heard it. A faint voice from down the hall, soft and hushed, but unmistakably hers. I moved toward the doorway, my heart pounding in my chest as I crept down the hall. The closer I got, the clearer her words became. “No, listen to me,” Ash was saying, her voice urgent. “He thinks it’s his, and that’s all that matters.” I froze, my breath catching in my throat. “I told you,” she continued, her voice dropping lower. “I’ll handle it. Just don’t call me again unless it’s important.” There was a pause, followed by a bitter laugh. “He’s too wrapped up in his own guilt to even suspect anything. He’ll do whatever I want as long as I keep playing the grateful and devoted act.” I pressed my hand against my mouth to stifle the gasp threatening to escape. My heart raced as her words sank in. The pregnancy wasn’t his. Ash had played him, deceived him, and Andy, in his arrogance and desperation, had fallen for it. The pain I felt moments ago began to transform into something else, something sharper. Fury. I turned and walked back to the bedroom, my mind already racing with thoughts of what to do next. Andy had betrayed me, but now I had something he didn’t a truth that could tear his carefully crafted world apart. This wasn’t over. Not by a long shot.Lucy POVI hadn’t slept. Even though I wish for that. Not because of fear. Not because of doubt. But because Elias still breathed, and that alone kept my blood hot and restless.Me remembering my experience with him, made me hate him the more. From my tower window, I watched the horizon. Somewhere beyond those mountains, kira was slipping through his gates. Wearing silence like armor. Smiling with secrets packed between the crates of herbs she carried. If I’d learned anything from betrayal, it’s that it doesn’t always come with a blade or sword.Sometimes, it walks in politely… and waits. And sometimes, it comes causally with a smile.“Are you still up?” Daniel asked, stepping in with a fur cloak draped across his arms.“I told you not to baby me,” I replied.“You didn’t tell me to stop worrying about you either,” he said. “Mira’s been gone over a day. You expected faster results?”“I expected contact.” I turned toward the window again. “She’s never gone dark this long before.”He sta
Lucy POVThe flames had almost burned out, but I remained seated at the war table, staring at the list in front of me. Five names. Five ghosts of the past who thought they buried me along with my mother. Five beast who made me tear up. Five beast who stood as a friend but worst than an already known enemy. They were wrong.I picked up the quill pen beside the parchment, dipped it in red ink, and drew a long, deliberate line through Andy’s name. One down. The next name stared back at me like a challenge.Elias.The air in the room thickened just thinking about him.The Alpha who once sat beside my mother. Her advisor. Her friend. The wolf who kissed her cheek the night before the rebellion—then opened the gates for the ones who killed her.The one should as a best friend, the one who claimed to be the father I never had.I still remember the blood on her dress. The fear in her eyes as she realized the betrayal hadn’t come from her enemies, but from within her own pack. From him.I too
Author's POVThe moon hung low over Lucy’s territory, casting long shadows through the towering trees and stone-lined pathways. Inside her mini council hall, the fire burned low, embers flickering like the tension in the air, the past still playing in her minds. Maps were spread across the long oak table. Lucy stood at the head of it, calm but alert. Daniel leaned beside her, arms folded across his chest, while Rhea paced near the door, ever the watchful blade. They had been preparing for the next move. Ash was already dealt with, her downfall a carefully calculated blow that sent ripples through the surrounding packs. But Lucy knew better than to believe peace had finally settled. No, this was only the eye of the storm. The moment shattered when the doors were flung open with a thunderous crash.Beta Andy stormed in, eyes bloodshot, fury seething from every inch of him. His hair was matted, his clothes torn, and his aura was wild with barely restrained rage. Two unknown rogues trail
Lucy – POVThe sky split in half with the clash of thunder and fury. The battlefield had gone quiet—eerily quiet—as if the land itself was holding its breath and waiting for something.Ash stood across from me. Her long coat whipped in the wind, her sharp eyes blazing with fury.I took a slow breath, letting the weight of everything fall into silence. This wasn’t about the pack anymore. This wasn’t about the betrayal, the politics, or even Andy. This was personal. She smirked. “So you finally crawled out of the dirt.”I didn’t blink. “I didn’t crawl. I rose.”Ash laughed. “Still so dramatic. You think this is a fairytale? That you’ll somehow beat me in the end and everything will make sense?”“No,” I said simply. “I don’t need it to make sense. I just need you to bleed and maybe die.”Her face darkened at sound of my words. We circled each other, the sounds of battle far off in the distance. Our wolves clashed elsewhere—but here, it was just us. Luna to Rogue. Woman to woman. Past to
Lucy – POVThe Hollow breathed with quiet purpose. Every torch that burned along the rocky paths felt like a pulse—a heartbeat of something that was no longer just an idea, but a living, growing resistance. But I knew it was only a matter of time before the fire we’d built attracted attention.I stood at the center of the training grounds, watching two wolves spar beneath the morning sun. Rhea barked commands from the side, pacing like a lioness sizing up her prey.“Too slow, Alaric!” she shouted. “If Lucy were your target, you’d be dead already.”“Let him catch his breath,” I said lightly, though my tone was steel under silk.Rhea glanced at me and smirked. “War doesn’t care about breath.”“No,” I replied. “But wolves do.”I turned to leave, my cloak trailing behind me as I moved toward the command tent. Daniel was already inside, bent over a rough map of Ash’s compound.“She’s sending scouts,” he said as I entered. “Two were spotted just beyond our southern perimeter. One escaped.”
Lucy – POVThe night after confronting Ash, I didn't sleep. I couldn't just put things together.I sat by the open window of the little room, watching the moon cut across the sky, silver and distant. My hand rested gently on my stomach, the hope of fulfilling those words I told Andy, playing in my head. This child—my child—wasn't just a hope but my life. It would be a new beginning for me.And beginnings demanded bold steps.Which was why, just before dawn, I sent for Daniel. He arrived without a word, his expression unreadable as always. He stood in the doorway, arms crossed, dark eyes watching me closely."You're up early," he said quietly.I didn’t waste time. “I want to build my own faction. My own force. I’m not asking for your blessing or your go ahead. I’m asking if you're with me.”He blinked, then laughed once—dry, surprised. “That’s not what I was expecting though.”“Good,” I said, standing tall and firm. “I’m done being predictable.”He studied me for a long moment. “You’re
Lucy – POVThe wind tore through the clearing as I stepped into Ash’s territory—uninvited, unannounced, and completely unafraid.I’d had enough.Of the whispers.Of the pity.Of the poison she fed into the pack while smiling like a queen when she wasn't one.Ash thought I’d be broken after Andy dis
Lucy – POV"That's breaking the bro code," Daniel said, his voice low and laced with tension. "And besides… you're not even fully divorced."His words hit me harder than I expected. I clenched my jaw, trying not to show how deep they cut. But I couldn’t stop myself—I looked him straight in the eyes
Lucy’s POVI stood frozen in a spot, the scan result still clutched in my trembling hands, yet my mind was no longer focused on it anymore . Something darker, colder, had taken hold of me at this point. The scarf lay there on the bed like a taunting shadow, its delicate fabric whispering secrets I
Lucy POV"Luna Lucy, you're pregnant." The pack doctor's words sounded so unreal, as though they were spoken from a distant dream. My chest immediately tightened, my fingers trembling as they curled into the edge of the chair. The stark clinical room suddenly felt suffocating, the air too heavy
