I was sitting at my dresser in my gown I bought earlier today and applying my make up along with my jewellery pieces. I had my freshwater pearl drop earrings paired with a silver necklet and sterling cubic zirconia bracelet. I looked at myself in the mirror seeing my final image in the mirror, satisfied I grab my purse and left for the door. As I opened the door, I was startled seeing Lewis standing there in a dress shirt and pants with a red tie looking stunned.

“Something wrong?” I asked and he shook his head scratching the back of his neck, “No nothing you just look gorgeous” he said sounding nervous. This was new the billionaire mafia boss Mr Lewis nervous in front of a female. “Shall we go now?” I asked walking past him and he swallowed the thick lump in his throat and led the way. Walking to the front door I stumbled a little seeing Lewis run in front of me getting the door and holding it open for me. “What’s this about?” I asked as I walked past him as he held the door, “I’m just being a gentleman” he stated before swiftly moving his hand around my waist and locking the door behind us. We walked to the car and he opened my passenger door for me taking my hand as I stepped inside before closing the door and walking around to the driver’s side. “Wait you’re driving?” I asked as he started the car, “yes of course I’m driving” he answered bluntly before reaching over and taking hold of my hand.

Just the small gesture ignited something inside of me, butterflies perhaps. I wasn’t sure but he squeezed my hand gently and kept his eyes on the road, “where are we going?” I asked, looking at his side profile. “It’s a surprise” he said and I felt my body tense up, “I don’t like surprises Lewis” I said sternly but he just shook his head. “I promise you’ll love this one” he reassured me, giving my hand another squeeze.

“Can I have a hint?” I asked and before I could ask another question, he placed a quick kiss on my lips silencing me. “Now sweetheart calm down I promise you’ll love where we’re going. “I still have a bad feeling about this surprise” I said and he sighed, “we’re going to a lovely dinner and going to spend time together” I nodded accepting his answer and leaned back in my seat. Once we arrived, I felt Lewis shake my shoulder jolting me awake and in front of me laid out was a beautiful city view off a cliff side. “What is it?” I asked, still slightly dazed as I lifted my head looking out the front window seeing fairy lights in the distance. 

“What is all this for?” I asked, feeling surprised by the sight in front of me, “it’s for you my dear” Lewis replied as he held my hand. Lewis got out of the car quickly walked to my side opening the car door, “my lady” he said, holding out his hand which I accepted hesitantly. I observed the scenery surrounding us seeing the fairy lights and table for two, “did you do this?” I asked as we walked towards the table.

“Do you like it?” Lewis asked with a hint of nervousness in his voice, I turned around so we were facing each other. Holding both his hands in mine and giving them a gentle squeeze as I stood on my toes. He looked cute when he was nervous, “never thought I would be making you nervous” I said as I brushed my thumb over his knuckles. “I guess you have an effect on me” He said, placing a kiss on my forehead. I smiled at the small gesture and he walked me over to the table pulling my seat out for me. I took my seat and he pushed me in before going around and pulling out a small cooler and taking a bottle of premixed mimosa. I held my glass up and he served me before pouring his own. “Well this is very different” I commented as I took a sip of my mimosa. “What do you mean?” Lewis asked as he finished pouring his own glass, “this side of you I have never seen this side of you” I said as I brushed my fingertips over his knuckles.

A slight blush appeared on his cheeks as he watched me brush my fingertips across his knuckles. “You’re cute” Lewis said as he watched my actions that slowly relaxed him, a platter of fruits and cheeses was in the middle of the table. I cut myself a piece of Bree cheese on a cracker with jam and motioned with my finger for Lewis to come closer. “Yes?” He asked with a hint of nervousness in his tone, “feed me” I said as I glided my tongue over my top lip. “You have no idea what you do to me” Lewis spoke, his voice trembling as he maintained eye contact. 

“Oh, yeah? What do I do to you?” I asked sliding my tongue over my top lip again. 

He stared at me with hot eyes for a few seconds, cleared his throat, and shifted in his seat. He picked up the cheese-laden cracker and gently fed me, then slid his hands slowly across my lower lip. 

I sighed softly, loving the feelings he ignited in me just from one touch. 

Lewis sighed softly too and I saw that his light brown eyes had become dark and he had the hot look on his face again. 

He took my hands and pecked them one after the other. “You do so many things to me, Valerie. You also make me feel many things. Many unwelcome but enthralling things that I like a lot”

I cocked my head to the side and studied him as he talked then said. “Mmmm, I have an important question for you though.”

“Oh, alright. Shoot!”
