MasukElara's POV My hands landed on her cheeks again, a loud sound emanating from the impact.Well, I wasn't surprised. I'd expected this from Crysantha, but then the implication would be that her body would answer for it.I grapped her jaw, lifting her face to see me.Now I was face to face with the very woman that had been the source of my pains since I stepped feet at starwars.I wanted to released my silver light energy. I wanted to grip her jaw, piercing claws into it until it hurt and blood flowed. I wanted to send her more and more excruciating pains, but na. I wasn't going to be the same thing that I despised. I wasn't going to behave like Crysantha because that would be the very thing she would have done, and even more if the roles were reversed.I let go of her jaw, now seated again close to her.The expressions in her face turned from rage to venomous to vengeance all at the same time."You see, a few moment from now, the council is going to seat."I lowered my voice as I took
Elara's POV "No! No! No you can't do that. You just can't!.Damion cried, while struggling to break off the grip of what was used in tying him."I thought you didn't care?"I asked and he looked at me, his nose flaying."You can't take my powers. You can't!"He barked."Oh, watch me do that now."I countered. His frustration rose, and he tried to form some ball of energy with his palm, but I knocked him down again with some energy. "Don't be silly, Damion. I don't have time here."He nodded, "not like you'll change your mind even if I surrendered my pack to my iron fang."He smiled. That kind of smile that only touched the lips and never the heart."You too will never set your eyes on those cursed children of yours."He barked. His eyes widened and he glared at me with hate. From me he glared at Henry who leaned against the wall, his arms folded. He was probably preventing himself from doing something irrational to Damion.Damion scoffed loudly. "I trust Chrysantha to never divulge
Elara's POV The creaking sound of the prison door filled our ears as the guard pulled it open, ushering us into the inner chamber. The room was pit black, but as soon as we entered, the guard in charge pressed a button by the wall which opened a small portion of the roof.Light from outside trickled into the room. The stench seemed to also escaped to some extent through the roof and now, Henry and I walked into the prison room."The light!"Bright light shown quickly on Damion's face at the sound of my voice."You sneaky whore!!"He growled, squinting his eyes."How dare..."Henry rushed towards him, his hands reaching for Damion's shirt through the opening of he cell iron door. He gripped him by the shirt. The few times I'd seen Henry act on impulse was the mostly the times when Damion called me a whore. The word seemed to trigger him so much."I would have laid my hands on you, but that would be after I get the necessary information from you."Henry growled, then pushing him hard a
Henry's POV The journey back to the star wars tasted like victory itself. I know we didn't have our children in our hands yet, but that was already a done deal.Having our enemies tied somewhere at the back of the car and my woman beside me gave me the most ecstatic feeling ever I hadn't realized was possible. I squeezed her hands beside me.We'd finished paying homage to the moon goddess and for the first time in a very long time, she seemed relaxed."Job well done baby."I whispered to her, and leaned forward to paste a kiss on her forehead.Kissing her too tasted like victory. Now all we needed was to get our babies back and tackle Saleen."Saleen is also a big job."She whispered immediately, as if she could hear my thoughts."But we've done so well already, and we deserve some accolades."I stated. She nodded, agreeing to what I said, even though I knew her mind can't totally be at rest until we've conquered all our enemies and gotten our children back into our arms. The good
Elara's POV The ride to soire was swift.Early the next morning, Henry, I and the warriors journeyed to soire.Soire was one of the worship centers of the moon goddess, and it was located at a distant land, the outskirts of the star wars.I looked out through the window as we approached. The old pine trees, dancing at the command of the wind.Henry squeezed my palm, the warmth flowing into me.It was yet again a constant reminder that we were in this together and we'd support each other. After our cars packed at the main temple, we alighted and headed straight into the temple, but a strong grip had held our legs, sweeping us to the floor.I growled, picking myself from the floor same as Henry and the other men as soon as possible. We'd also tasted the wrong energy in the air, this was nothing like the energy obtainable with the moon goddess. We all charged. "Take guard." Henry roared and immediately the men formed a formation. Claws appearing, together with swords all aligning."
Elara's POV I woke up to see Henry by the window. He stood there, his eyes looking over to the gardens. I could tell that he was staring at nothing in particular, but heavily burdened by the thoughts in his mind.I cleared my throat loudly, and he heard it and turned quickly to face me.Then a smile that didn't reach his heart suddenly spread across his face."My sunshine." His voice was gentle as always with me and his smile deepened as he walked towards me."How was your night?"He asked as his hands swept across my arms. His touch was warm and calm, nothing compared to the worries that laid in his heart.I just nodded. I didn't really have a wonderful night's rest as I kept on waking to the reality that my children were nowhere to be found. But I had just nodded because it was the easier thing to say.Henry leaned forward, taking one of my arms, pulling me into his embrace.I allowed him, his warmth, cologne and everything in between filling my nose.Henry was an embodiment of c
Elara's POV It took me almost thirty minutes to dress up, tie a scarf over my hair and come outside. The courtyard was buzzing with shouts, hammering, and carts rolling over the pebble pathway. The pack soldiers were training, and the barracks were being reinforced. They were all trying yet I sens
Elara's POV. My skin burned under his touch, and my heart made thoes drastic movements against its chambers.I should be breaking off his grip.No...not just that, I should be positioning the sword over his neck and demanding he went back to the iron fang, but instead, weaknesses pourned down on m
I shuddered and slid quickly into a black robe since it was getting cold outside, determined to trace this scent till wherever it led me.If Henry was here, probably to wage a war, then the pack must be alerted and the warriors positioned. My stomach churned, and this time not because of the way I
I left for one night...It's a miracle that morning finally came in a situation like this, because times like these, it never did.I thought it would never come as I had stopped expecting it either. After I left Henry at the border, I waltzed into my pack lands.I'd managed to find an area of land
