LOGINLorrianna dropped the deodorant and quietly kicked it under the desk. Her staff was standing behind this behemoth of a man, eyes wide and awestruck. She wiped her hand over the tight backside of her maroon scrubs and held out her hand in greeting. “Good evening, Mr….” She looked pleadingly at Stephanie for any hint as to who the hell had disrupted her CICU right before shift change for an inspection. He didn’t have the air of a doctor. He was more commanding, if that was even possible. Maybe a director, CFO, or CEO. But not a physician. He took her hand with a smile that reached his eye and far beyond. She felt what she could only describe as an AED shock run through her. He lifted his eyebrows and simply said “LaPoint.” No touch, sexual or casual, had ever made her feel this way. She must be more tired than she thought.
She could smell him from across the desk, and he smelled like fresh pines with a hint of thunderstorm on the air. She needed the name of that cologne because she would be spraying her pillows with it until the end of time. His rough hands were strong but not overpowering as he led her around the side of the counter to stand in front of him. As she lifted her chin to look him in the eye, she realized he was taller than she thought, and his suit was cut perfectly but did little to hide his muscular frame. She risked a glance at how wide his shoulders were and somehow found her thoughts wandering to climbing up him like a spider monkey and touching every bit of those tight shoulders and back. She shook her head slightly, and he seemed to smile wider. She needed to get a hold of herself. She was only ever with her ex, Steven, and she wasn’t about to jump on the next man that came along just because he enticed thoughts in her that weren’t her norm. He leaned in ever so slightly to whisper into her ear. “Lorrianna, I presume..” Her name coming out of his mouth, in his voice, was sin dipped in danger. She shivered as he took a slight inhale. She tightened her thighs together to stifle the increasing heat pooling at her core. “Did you just SNIFF me?!” She gasped as she watched his eyes roll back in his head in a satisfied sigh. He appeared to mutter what sounded like “Mate”. That can’t be right, she thought to herself. Maybe he said hate? Slate? She was too tired to even comprehend what was happening when Dr. Atwood appeared from the staff break room looking slightly rested and very late. Contrary to popular belief, Dr. Atwood may appear lazy, but he is right there beside the nurses constantly and rarely ever sleeps. Stephanie, who had hardly spoken up to this point, seemed shocked. “Dr. Atwood, are you sleeping on the job?!” She sounded incredulous, like she didn’t know that he has been here for 2 days saving lives and taking names. Before he could even reply, Sandra stepped forward. “Dr. Atwood is currently on the last leg of a 48-hour shift thanks to the staffing issues. He has stabilized NSTEMIs, performed several life-saving UNSCHEDULED CABGs, all while taking “important patients” in for cardiac catheterizations because they had some indigestion AND resuscitated a patient about 2 hours ago who was stable prior to crashing. I would say he earned some shut-eye!” Dr. Atwood stood bone-still as he eyed Tyler. Lorrianna could swear, if she didn’t know better, that they were having some silent conversation only they were privy to. Shrugging off the feeling that was pooling in the bottom of her stomach, she tried to remove her hand from Mr. LaPoint’s when he whipped his head back around to her in surprise and gently let go. “Ms. Wilson, I will speak with you in your office shortly. I can continue the inspection on my own.” Poor Stephanie stood there looking like someone had snatched her favorite stuffed animal and ripped the head clean off. “Mr. LaPoint, it is highly unusual for an owner to…” Tyler cut her off before she could continue further. “You can convene with me in your office in a bit, or you can find a new office. At a new hospital. I don’t like being questioned, but as this is our first official meeting, you get one chance to learn that lesson.” His voice was low and dangerous. Lorrianna knew she needed the bathroom, food, and sleep, preferably in that order, because she could have sworn he was basically growling. She also noticed a hint of gold shining in those gorgeous ocean-blue eyes.LorriannaThe way he tasted on my tongue had me dizzy, but the words. Oh the words. A little bit of communication goes a long way, and I wasn't too proud to admit that my praise kink radar was on fire. At least that was what I thought until he filled me with that first push so completely I think I briefly met the Moon Goddess. He hadn't lied. There was nothing gentle about this encounter, and I quietly whispered praises to the Moon Goddess in my mind for this beast of a man on top of me. I gasped as he grabbed me under my ass and lifted my hips off the ground. The action didn't make me gasp; it was the angle. That pressure was something I wasn't accustomed to, but my eyes rolled back in my head as I basked in the feeling growing at the bottom of my stomach. TylerShe was incredible. She smelled incredible. She felt incredible. There were so many things I wanted to do with her, and I knew that this one night was not going to be enough. Sh
Tyler circled around this oddly serene goddess on her knees before him, his heart swelling with love equal only to his desire for her. “I didn’t technically catch you,” he mused out loud. “I yield,” Lorrianna barely whispered. Eyebrows raised, he stopped in front of her. He placed a finger under her chin, lifting her head so he could gauge the emotion in her eyes. She didn’t appear to be lying or trying to trick him. He found her words truthful and almost hopeful. “You understand that by yielding to me, you are relinquishing control? At least for tonight,” he informed her. Her face turned to one of confusion as she asked, “Only tonight?” “Yes. We can talk about the future later, but right now, I have a prize to collect.” Tyler growled. Grabbing her hair at the back of her head, he wrapped it around his strong hand once and brought her ass off of her heels. She let out a sigh as his eyes bore into hers. “I will not b
Gannon Clever little wolf. I had lost her scent briefly by the lake when I could see her barely above water’s head in the water. Once the hunt had started, I had trotted after her. This big, bad wolf was a tracker by nature, and she was about to find out. She didn't think I knew about her ability to mask her scent, but my senses were stronger than that. The bond always lets mates know when they are close to one another, but now that her scent and body were imprinted on our soul, I would never let her go. No matter what. We were going to show her just how amazing our bond could be. The thought of our mate submitting to us was what I had been searching for. Tyler Swirling in my thoughts as Gannon "hunted" our mate, I am ready to burst. I never knew what I was missing until I felt her submit to me up against that tree. This had nothing to do with the bond. I had always found sex rather boring and only used it as an outlet to release that
Lorrianna I don't want to run. I don't want to hide. The feeling lingered in her lower stomach after what he had just done to her. How he had HANDLED her. Controlled her. Owned her body and its reactions. She had technically told him no, but when he asked for clarification, she froze. How could she talk with this gorgeous man's head between her legs and his eyes pulling apart her soul piece by piece? Smiling to herself, she knew she had to put up at least a little bit of a fight. But she would make it fun. When he had called behind her to shift, she didn't comply right away. Where was the fun in that? Having shifted about 5 yards past that point, she let Caleena take over as she observed this beautiful world she was roaming. She took the time to also ponder everything that had happened so far with amazement. No doubt the bond had affected the encounter, but there was a calculating skill there she had never seen before. It was like he understood the conversation that had not occurre
Tyler fought with every fiber of his HUMAN being to not mark Lorrianna in that moment. He wondered what could possibly be this serious that they required an honest-to-Moon Goddess heart-to-heart, naked in the middle of the woods?! He was barely listening as she bit her bottom lip and seemed to stare at him with unease."I'm sorry, can you please repeat that?" he said with a hint of embarrassment he couldn't hide. Before she could speak, he stepped forward, cupping her face. Lorrianna leaned her cheek into the touch. "Before you start again," he whispered in that voice dripping of sin and danger, sounding more gravelly. "I'm going to need you to stop biting that lip." With that, he took his thumb and pushed her lower lip away from her teeth. He was on autopilot at this point, not knowing what was driving him. He slowly pushed his thumb into her mouth. Lorrianna let out a whimper, and the scent of her intense arousal doubled around him. As she swirled her tongue
Tyler/GannonGannon seemed almost feral as he rushed through the streets after Caleena. God she was beautiful. As stunning as her human, but Tyler never thought Gannon would react like this. The heat of the chase. The thrill of the hunt. The reward of the capture had him handing over the reins to his extremely eager wolf as they rushed toward the forest in pursuit of their mate. She was putting more space between them but surprisingly did not lose them completely. She was fast for a wolf of her size. This was going to be a challenge he thought to himself. As they lost sight of their prey at the tree line he took a moment to mind link his beta."Please inform our eastern border patrols to disregard..." Tyler started."Already on it Alpha." Sean snickered back through the link. "The whole pack is already talking about their beautiful soon to be Luna. At least her wolf. They apparently ran past Gamma Freya and her pup and Caleena nuzzled her. Freya thi
