LOGINKarenās POV
Flashbacks
The courtyard burned with torches, shadows flickering over accusing faces. My chest heaved as I stumbled into the chaos only to see her.
The previous Luna. Lifeless. Blood staining her pale dress.
āNoā¦ā My whisper barely left my lips before a shrill voice cut through the crowd.
āThere! She did it!ā
I spun. Nelissa my chambermaid, the one who had sworn loyalty to me was pointing at me, tears streaking her face. āI saw her slipping a vial into Luna Roseās cup! She said the old Luna stood in her way!ā
Gasps erupted. Wolves snarled. My knees nearly gave out.
āThatās a lie!ā My voice cracked as I tried to move forward. āI would neverā¦.ā
Another shout came from the Elder. His hand shot up, silencing the crowd. āEnough. You think we accuse you blindly?ā His eyes gleamed with cold judgment.
He raised a crystal device, its surface shimmering to life. A projection flickered in the night air. My heart slammed against my ribs as the image came into focus me, cloaked, standing in the forest⦠speaking to rogues.
The crowd roared. Wolves bared their teeth.
āThatās not me!ā I screamed, shaking my head violently. āItās been altered someone set me up!ā
āLies,ā the Elder spat. āThe proof is here. You conspired against your pack. This is treason!ā
The guards seized me before I could breathe. Iron cut into my wrists, dragging me to the ground. The crowd howled, spitting curses, their faces twisted with rage.
āLuna Karen of Blue Moon,ā the Elderās voice thundered, āyou are guilty of the death of the previous Luna and treason against your pack.ā
āNo!ā I screamed, but the sound vanished under their roars.
I searched the Alphaās face Xavierās face but found only coldness. Betrayal.
That was the night everything ended. The night my own people chained me, branding me a traitor and a murderer in one breath.

When I finished telling him, I tried to read Zaidenās expression. Was he going to think I did it too? He was my only savior now I had nowhere else to go.
āI wasnāt expecting you to believe me,ā I whispered, wiping my eyes as I stood. āIāll leave right away. I donāt want to cause trouble. I never intended to.ā
āDonāt you dare walk away from me.ā
He yanked me back, hard enough that I stumbled into his chest. My gasp caught in my throat as his arms locked around me like steel bars. His body radiated heat, his scent wrapping around me, thick and intoxicating.
āLook at me,ā he ordered.
I tried to resist, but his fingers slid under my chin, tilting it up until my gaze collided with his. His eyes were molten fire fierce, merciless pinning me in place.
āYou think you can just run? After walking into my life like this?ā His voice dropped, deep and commanding. āNo, Karen.ā His lips brushed mine as he growled, āYou belong to me now. You are mine.ā
My heart skipped at his claim. His words sank into me like claws, sending a shiver down my spine. I opened my mouth to deny it, but no words came only a shaky breath.
Then his mouth crashed against mine. It wasnāt gentle. It was a storm fierce and demanding. His lips moved with punishing force, his teeth grazing my lower lip until a whimper slipped out. The sound only made him tighten his hold, pulling me flush against his chest.
My hands trembled as I clutched his shirt, torn between shoving him away and dragging him closer. My body betrayed me, melting into him even as my mind screamed no.
The kiss deepened, his tongue claiming mine, relentless, leaving no space for doubt. Heat flared between us, raw and consuming.
When he finally tore his mouth from mine, he didnāt move far. His lips hovered against mine, his breath hot and ragged.
āYouāre not leaving,ā he whispered darkly, his hand sliding possessively to the small of my back, pressing me closer. āNot tonight. Not ever.ā
His lips claimed mine again, raw and unyielding. For a heartbeat, I melted my wolf whining with joy, clawing to submit. Heat rushed through me, every nerve on fire.
Heās ours, Sally whispered, desperate. Donāt fight it. Donāt you feel it?
But thatās when it happened. The burn in my chest twisted into something darker. The phantom sting of silver chains seared my wrists. Xavierās cruel laugh echoed in my ears. My lungs locked up, panic ripping through me.
āNoā¦ā I gasped, wrenching against Zaidenās grip. My body trembled not from desire this time, but from fear.
He leaned in closer, pinning me with his heat, his scent, his power. Too much.
My wolf howled in protest as I shoved hard against his chest, breaking the kiss. My voice cracked. āI canāt donāt touch me!ā
I spun toward the door, desperate to escape the pull he had on me but Zaiden was faster. His hand clamped around my wrist, yanking me back until my spine hit the cold wall. My breath caught, my chest heaving against his.
āLet me go,ā I snapped, though my voice betrayed me, trembling.
His eyes darkened, wolf burning through them. āNo.ā His tone was a low growl, vibrating through my bones. āYou can fight me, deny me, curse me⦠but it doesnāt change a damn thing.ā
āW-what thing?ā I stammered, though I already knew.
He leaned closer, his lips brushing my ear, his scent drowning me. āThat youāre mine.ā
My heart stuttered. My knees weakened. His hand slid up, pinning mine above my head, while the other cupped my jaw, tilting my face to his. My pulse thundered when his mouth hovered over mine so close I could taste the heat of him.
āYou belong to me now, little Luna,ā he murmured, voice rough, claiming. āAnd nothing not your past, not your lies, not even your fear will change that.ā
Before I could breathe a protest, his lips crushed against mine. Fierce. Possessive. A kiss that felt like a brand. My wolf whimpered in surr

Three Years Later Zaidenās POV My birthday was at the corner, Tomorrow, Adrian had been pressuring me to make it a celebration which I didnāt want a celebration. I hadnāt wanted one for three years. Adrian stubborn as always, refused to listen. āYouāre still my Alpha,ā he had said. āAnd if Karen was alive, she wouldāve wanted this for you. If you're worried about having to do everything your self, worry no more that's why we are here, everything will be covered by us. Invitation, food drinks, gifts everything you can think of.ā He said explained. "Fine, I'll be there, can you let me be now?" I asked. "Of course Alpha." He said and laughed and went back to his office. *On that morning* They had prepared a surprise for me when I woke up which I was grateful for, the brought their gift and wishes which I appreciated. *At the party* People trying too hard to pretend joy didnāt feel wrong around me, they tried to make the party interesting and it was. But I didn't tak
Zaiden's POV The next morning, I carried my daughter in my arms as I made my way toward Karen's room. This had become our routine. I would bring our little princess to her mother so they could spend time together. The baby was unusually fussy today. She kept whimpering softly against my chest. I kissed her forehead. "What's wrong, little one?" She only fussed harder. I frowned. That wasn't like her. As I approached the room, I noticed something strange. Too many frightened faces the healers where looking distressed. My footsteps slowed. Immediately, something felt wrong, terribly wrong. The closer I got, the heavier my chest became. Then suddenly a horrifying pain exploded through my entire body. I stopped walking. My breath caught. The baby immediately began crying. Something was wrong with the mate bond. My heart started racing. "No! No! No!" I kept repeating. A healer stepped forward. His face was pale. Terrified. "Alpha..." I looked at him. "What happene
Karen's POV Marciel, Zaden's mother came two days after the birth of my baby, I was so happy to see her because of course I haven't talked to her or even seen her since I got married to Zaiden. On the evening she came back, I had the maid come to take her things inside and I welcomed her into the house at first I thought it was me imagining it but she some how didn't really talk to me she just stared at me in disgust which I had absolutely no I deal why she had done that. I felt I had done something or was it because I couldn't get her what to eat? I asked myself. Then turning to her. "What would you like to have." I asked she looked at me in disappointment she shook her head and said to the maids. "Show me to my room." I was surprised because I don't recall doing anything to see her get angry at me, besides she just came. Maybe the journey was exhausting I thought trying to make excuses for her. Then it kept on happening and I kept assuring myself or was exhaustion from child
Four Months Later General POV "Push!" The midwife's voice rang through the room. Karen cried out in pain, her fingers clutching the sheets beneath her. Sweat covered her body and tears streamed down her face as another contraction tore through her. "You can do it, Luna! Just one more push!" Outside the room, Zaiden paced like a caged animal. His heart was pounding so hard he could hear it. Every scream that came from behind those doors felt like a blade slicing through his chest. Nothing had ever terrified him as much as hearing his mate in pain. Another scream echoed through the hallway. Zaiden stopped moving. His fists clenched. "Moon Goddess, please..." he whispered. Then suddenly, a baby's cry pierced through the air. The entire hallway fell silent. For a second, Zaiden couldn't breathe. The cry came again, his eyes widened. The baby was here. Without waiting for permission, he shoved the door open and rushed inside. His eyes immediately searched for only one p
Zaiden POV "Don't you ever talk about my mate that way." He sneered. "Karen is your weakness, Zaiden." The mention of Karen made my wolf stir violently. But I kept my face expressionless. "Say her name again." The threat in my voice was unmistakable. Cole smirked. He laughed. "Let's see what you've got," he said, laughing maniacally. A warrior burst into the clearing from the direction of the pack house. "Alpha!" The warrior stumbled to a stop. "Alpha..." His voice shook. "The restaurant was attacked." The entire world seemed to stop. Every muscle in my body locked. My blood ran cold. Karen. And with a deafening roar that echoed through the forest, I launched myself at Cole. Cole met me head-on. Our bodies collided with enough force to shake the ground beneath us. His jaws snapped toward my throat. I twisted away just in time and sank my teeth into his shoulder. Cole howled in pain and retaliated immediately, his claws raking across my side. A burning pain
Zaiden POV Few weeks later We where back together fully. Karen had resumed her work back at the restaurant and I was at the office, Alpha duties of course always keeping me busy. I was in my office attending to some documents when I heard a loud piercing scream outside. I hurriedly stood up and went by the window side to check. Just then, someone burst into the office. "Alpha! Alpha!" he called, panting heavily. "The Rogues have attacked us. Cole is their leader," he said. I turned to him, my eyes widened in shock. "What!!" "Get the warriors to strengthen their forces and the rest should protect women, children, and elderly. Take them to the safe house. We can't afford to loose them. Tell Charles to get to the restaurant immediately and protect my mate. If anything should happen to her, I'll have all of your heads rolling on the ground." "Yes, Alpha," he said and left. The doors shut behind him. I stood there for a few seconds longer, jaw tight, listening to the distant move
My body jerked upright before I even realized I was awake. Water poured down my face, slipping into my eyes and mouth, and my lungs burned as I gasped. I swallowed hard, my throat raw from yesterdayās fight, or maybe it was the day before. My body ached from head to toe. Every muscle screamed in pr

Eryx POVI woke up to the screams of the guards, and guess what, they were shouting at a sleeping me. I didnāt really know what I did to them that could make them have this change of mind towards me. Not like I even hurt anyone. But though I didnāt regret coming here in the first place, because at
