Amelia's POV.
“Raymond would never do that!” I snapped, slamming my fist on the table.
Viktor Volkov–the business tycoon–as he was usually addressed took another sip from his glass, smiling at me like I was a poor, naive girl… one that I didn't realize that I was until I was deceived.
“He did sweetheart. You have no idea what your sweet boy would do for money,” He muttered, adjusting his tie with a smirk on his face… mocking me.
My heart pounded heavily in my chest, I shook my head in disbelief, this can't be possible.
I was going to get married to Raymond in a few weeks. He had informed me that the meeting with Viktor was nothing more than a good business deal that was going to get him quick money…but what Viktor wanted me to do was far from a business deal.
He wanted me to spend one night with him. My body in return for the sweet deal.
I crossed my arms, glaring daggers at the man in front of me, “Raymond is not someone you mess with Mr Viktor. My boyfriend will blow your head off without thinking twice so you better get me the money.”
Viktor scoffed in my direction, “You really think I'm lying? Raymond is in big trouble sexy. He needs MY money to help him out and you're his collateral.”
My stomach twisted in disgust, causing my face to harden.
Was I nothing but a mere collateral to Raymond?
Would Raymond actually do this to me despite all the risks I'd taken to transport drugs for him?
Was this the thanks I get for being a supportive girlfriend to a Mafia Lord?
But why wouldn't he?
After all, He had been ignoring me for the past week because I refused to let him hide drugs in my home. I thought he would soften if I helpex him with this business deal
Bile rose in my throat, making me swallow hard. My cheeks burned with anxiety but I couldn't show that I was weak, especially not in front of this man.
“I don't believe you. And I'm not going to be your whore. Fucking lunatic” I hissed, turning towards the exit of his dark office.
“You'll be back here in a few days, I promise you.” His voice echoed through the room as I walked out.
The moment I got out of the building, my shoulders dropped as tears poooled at the corner of my eyes.
I couldn't believe what had just happened in there.
Sure, dating a Mafia Lord was “the peak of fantasy” as my best friend would say but I surely didn't expect that I'd be reduced to a merewhore for money.
Raymond had a lot of questions to answer tonight, and I hoped that Viktor was lying to me.

When I arrived at Raymond's place, I dashed into his home, ignoring the warning glares of his men around.
Raymond was nowhere to be found and the only place he could be was his room. Raymond’s second in command and third in command stood in front of his room's door, making me halt in my steps.
“I want to see my man,” I muttered, alternating my gaze between both tall men.
“He's busy, go away,” The second in command stated, frowning at me.
He'd always had little to no respect for me, even though I tried to impress him but at that moment he was the least of my problems.
“I said I want to see him!” I snapped, but they remained rooted to the spot.
My jaws clenched and I pushed in between them, reaching for the door knob before they could react.
The door swung open to reveal Raymond ramming his length into a familiar woman.
My heart stopped for a second as heat crawled up my neck, “You animal! So you had me go over there to be Viktor's slut just so you could fuck my step sister?!” I barked, trying my best to stand straight even though my knees were threatening to weaken under me.
Raymond rolled off Tricia whose face was flushed with pleasure and irritation, cause I'd interrupted their little session.
“Why the fuck did you come back without the money?” Raymond questioned, slipping his boxers onto his waist.
I couldn't believe that he had no remorse whatsoever!
I shook my head, “Really? You're really asking me that?”
Raymond immediately snagged his hand around my throat, clenching his teeth as he increased pressure.
“All you had to do was get fucked for five to ten minutes and you'd have come back here with the damn money!” He grunted.
I struggled in his grip, scratching and begging his hands for release but he didn't budge. My heart shattered into pieces as my eyes watered, so it was true.
“Who the fuck sends their fiancé out there to go act like a damn whore?” I muttered, gasping for air while writhing in his grip.
He scoffed, letting go of my throat with a hard push that sent me to the ground almost immediately.
My knees scraped his hard rug, making me wince in pain as my body shuddered.
“Fiancé? I'm not getting married to you,” He said, his icy voice shattering my body even more.
My vision clouded with tears but I fought them back, and then he yanked my hand upwards, pulling out the engagement ring he'd given to me.
“Since you can't get me money, you don't deserve to be married to me.”
I rose to my feet, feeling the need to beg him because he catered for my finances to this day, especially my mom's bills. But the shredded pieces of my self respect made me discard the idea.
It was clear he didn't respect me.
“I fucking hate you,” I scowled, tilting my head to the side to see my stepsister, “And I've never been more disappointed in you than I am today.”
She rolled her eyes, “Sister, it's just sharing. Don't you like to share?” She asked in that mocking tone that always made her come off as innocent.
She'd always been jealous of me but I never thought she'd take it this far.
“Get her out of here,” Raymond barked and the men at the door grabbed onto either side of my arms, dragging me out of the door and I didn't fight them, I was too weak to say anything.
They threw me out of the house, and I found my way down the street, assuring myself that I'd find a way out of this. He knew that I'd come back to beg him once I needed money again and that was why he treated me this way.
This time, I wouldn't go back, no matter what.
I wiped my tears as I walked down the street, not noticing the movement of cars speeding past me.
Just then, a hand suddenly pressed over my nose.
Panic surged through me as I struggled to get free but the more I inhaled, the harder it became to fight.
The last thing I remember were three figures with white masks before everything went black.
Harry's POVShe was the first I saw, wrapped in a coat and waiting for me. Her worried eyes had me thinking if she stayed up all night waiting.I felt terrible, wondering if the kids were safe, and I just stood there, staring at her. However, she heaved a sigh, running towards me. I didn't erase her memory just so she'd leave, but I was startled to find her."You came late," she whispered in a shaky tone as she stretched her hand towards her with a sad smile."You kept me waiting," she furthered, but I was staring at her hand, afraid to hold it because I'd break it.However, I walked past her, as if she never existed. I'd be placing a call to Dad to pick her up."You don't just walk away without apologizing!" She snapped, but then I didn't listen and just stepped inside."Harry!" She called, and when I almost took the stairs, she obstructed my path."And the damage? Who the fuck is paying for it?""Stop trying, Freya. Leaving is the best option right now," I coldly responded, but she

Rosie"You don't get to threaten me because you know nothing!" Damien fires but I yelled to an extent that everything here began to viberate.Even I was terrified as both men turned to look at me. Suddenly, the building was trembling and I had to ask myself if I truly caused this without knowing it."If you both want to fight and kill yourself! Take me out of here first because right now! We are trapped and the building might collapse!!""what?" Austin mused and just after that exclamation, a rock almost dropped on him if Damien hadn't pulled him away.I can tell he has his heart in mouth as he kept looking at Damien like a savior."I just don't want anything to kill you except me!"Not him and his lines."This isn't the right time" I pointed out trying to avoid the concrete walls that were dropping now.Damien pushed Austin back as he runs to meet me at the door."What really happened here?" RosieI felt the heat of Austin's glare, his frustration and anger."Rather than ranting your frustration on me, why don't you get to work?" he growled, his voice low and rough.I gawped at him with a racing heart as I heaved a sigh.I thought he'd hand over the gun to me, let me take care of myself. But instead, he swayed behind me, pushing the gun forward and clasping my hand together on it.The metal felt cold and heavy, but his touch was warm and commanding."Austin..." I’d expected him to be back by now, his sharp jawline which will set in that confident smirk of his, his piercing eyes glinting with the satisfaction of a job well done. But there was nothing, no sound, no movement, no sign of life.My mind began to raced and it was difficult not to think of any worse case scenario. What if the guy they were interrogating was more dangerous than they thought? What if he had an accomplice? What if… what if… what if…The silence was suffocating me
Harry's POV"Alright, boys, it's late, time for bed," I interrupted, moving to grab Chris, who seemed exhausted from explaining."Yes, Harry," the chorus, even though with a crackle. Chris was the first to run to the bedroom, but Colton was still in the living room with me.His fingers prickled his
